Great staff; all around. Nice hotel. Poor entry road. 3 issues. Small fruit flies in bar & high top areas several days. Also fruit flies at breakfast table area. #2) Dogs allowed at eating tables? Yorkshire terrier with older couple at breakfast with dog on lap at table is disgusting. #30 Limited hotel info because of video TV / poor Remote controls. Difficult to navigate this system.

The property is extremely clean. The staff members are very friendly, welcoming and respectful. They offer great breakfast and small bits during happy hour. The hotel lobby and lounge areas are well designed, and clean. Beautiful hotel, the rooms are large and comfortable. It’s a family friendly hotel. There is a pool for the whole family.

Thieves attempted to steal my car's catalytic converter in the hotel parking lot (they cut out the wrong section). Thousands of dollars in damage. I recommend staying somewhere with a more secure lot, or at least cameras.

Upon check in, (Saturday) we were informed that the air conditioning was not working properly and they were waiting on a part, which would not be in until Tuesday!? They briught us 2 pedestal fans, which helped a lot. Thr The eating area for breakfast is well maintained. It's kept clean snd stocked. But the lobby is a bit dated. Swimming pool and hot tub were working...which is a major plus! Embassy is now offering free cocktails between 5:30 & 7pm like Drury Inns do. They only offered pretzel bites and homemade chips... I would consider staying here again...as long as the air conditioning id working properly.

Just stayed here one night after a late flight on our way to a family function. The room was really big, there’s free parking and I was able to sleep so those are the pros. However, the room condition is old and reallly needs a makeover. I am not a clean freak by any means and I was just looking for a place to sleep so my standards weren’t high but it grossed me out. There were long black hairs all over our bed, the room stank like cigarettes and mold, honestly I didn’t even want to touch the tv remote or eat my dinner in the space.

We had stayed at this hotel over approx 2.5 weeks. We had stayed on multiple rooms which were very dated, the carpeting, the heavy drapes. One room had balled up used tissue under mattress and a pillowcase with obvious dirt on the pillowcase. Definitely not updated in a long time. Most rooms had obviously signs of water damage or repair from water damage. To top it off early Christmas morning we checked out at 12am after finding a bed bug. It was traumatizing and infuriating that we had to be packing up all of our things in the middle of the night on Christmas morning, leaving things behind and needing to find somewhere else to stay. It was a lot of work later that day to clean everything we had to prevent any possible issues going forward. And we’re staying at the hotel as we find a new home so we had a lot of our things with us. Do not trust the high ratings as this is what had us go here to begin with.This hotel was probably a great place in the late 90’s but hasn’t been cared for well and it shows.

Woke up to find a cockroach on the floor. Front desk said they would take care of it. Said they awarded 10,000 points to my account. They didn’t. And what is 10,000 points? Doesn’t even refund us for the night.

The first room I was given was 220. It was musty and moldy smelling. I asked the front desk to give me a new room and he did. No apology or anything just switched rooms. The second room was fine but a little dated, especially the bathroom.

I arrived and it all began with someone peed in the bed and house keeping made the bed over a giant yellow wet stain. I laid in it and was saturated! Got a new room, showered, shower would not drain, backed up to over my ankles, no shower gel! Wanted to wash those clothes, was told dryer didn’t work. Asked for do not disturb sign and soap, house keeping could not understand any English at all. 2 free drinks, 1 bartender and a sold out hotel, long line every night. I stayed 5 nights took until I left one week after pee bed, 2 emails and 2 calls to Hilton for “the manager” to call me and acknowledge the urinated bed. What if That person has some disease! His answer was I gave you the first night free and points to use somewhere else. I am a marriott customer first time using Hilton. Points don’t mean anything when you don’t want to return. Staff are NPCs. What happened to customer service. I was literally told by front desk, you can post pictures all you want, people will still come here. No one cares anymore about you or if you spend your money with their company. Omlets were good

The property is in dire need of a complete update. Everything is tired and old. I've stayed there for the last five years and nothing has changed and nothing has been updated. I keep saying they're due for an update, but they don't do it if it wasn't convenient. I probably wouldn't stay there anymore.

Steve K. @ front desk and the restaurant/bar staff are exceptional! Reward their excellence with raises! Love the floorplan of a 2 room suite with 2 queen beds and sofa sleeper. TV desperately needs upgrade to let guests login to their streaming accounts. Your premium brand is decades behind even discount hotel chains.

We had the nosiest room and asked to be moved. Without looking at her computer the front desk said she didn’t have anything available. One another shift started that had no problem finding a quieter room. Then our toilet overflowed. Maintenance was fast but housekeeping had to be called 3 times. When the man arrived, he threw a towel on the floor and with his foot wiped the peed water dry. Without soap or any cleaning solution. He did say it was perfect as he walked out the door.

Booked at Embassy Suites based on location and accommodations for famik trip to the area. We had a 5 hour drive to wait 1 hr and 30 minutes after check-in to get a room. It was inconvenience and really showed the lack of customer service priority from.the staff behalf.

We had a wonderful experience at Embassy Suites during our stay for our sailor’s Navy graduation. The customer service was excellent—everyone went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of options, and the evening happy hour is always a nice bonus! The location is perfect too—only about a 25-minute drive to Great Lakes Naval Base. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting for graduation or just looking for a comfortable, friendly place to stay.

This hotel wasn't bad, but it could have been a lot better. The front desk staff was kind, the breakfast was better than a lot of hotels, but the cleanliness of the rooms needs work as well as the cleaning staff. On several occassions the cleaning staff didn't even come to the room, I had to call the front desk for them to take the trash out, change the sheets, and vacuum. The cleaning staff came one day while I was about to leave for the day and started cleaning, but when I arrived back, nothing but the bathroom had been cleaned, and by clean I mean just new towels and the trash taken out but the other trash cans were full and the bed wasn't changed. The happy hour was a nice amenity! Would I stay again... yes but it wouldn't be my first choice.

My check in was a smooth process! Rick was attentive and greeted us warmly. Once we settled in our room we checked out the complimentary happy hour and received a drink and snacks. I really enjoyed the movie channel options and the breakfast the next morning. Yum yum yummy!

The food service staff was excellent!!! We stayed many night last and the breakfast and restaurant staff could not have been more wonderful! Unfortunately, the front desk was terrible at all shifts, unprofessional, not helpful, and rude! The hotel may want to reconsider all new front desk people as truly, that was the only bad part of our stay! Not even hello or good morning!!

Check-in was very efficient. The staff at breakfast were very friendly. A special thank you to Isabel, Nathan, Irma, Estrella, Rebeca and Emma. The made to order eggs were done exactly as I asked for. The staff ensured that the breakfast area was clean. I shout out also to Mayra and Kiana for the excellent service at the bar. Their friendly, respectful and caring personalities gave me and my family a great evening experience throughout our entire stay.

The hotel was located in a very quiet area, set back from highway and road noise. But the entry road to get there was very bumpy and rough, potholes, cracks. This may be because there were two large office buildings that were completely empty with no power, so no one was keeping up with road upkeep. The hotel was very clean, our room was nice but not updated. Bed was comfortable as well as pillows. Breakfast was delicious, lots of choices and a made to order area. But…there were busloads of kids on a school trip, roaming the halls noisily until 10 pm and making it hard to enjoy the very nice middle area designed for relaxation. Breakfast was a little chaotic but I applaud the staff with keeping everything full and cleanup was done quickly. We were able to find a table each morning. Without the kids, I would have given them a 5, but the noise and the fact we adults had no where to go to escape them lowered it. I wish they had lowered my rate for the inconveniences caused.

We stayed here 2 times on a long visit for work & pleasure. It is conveniently located and tucked back off of Lake Cook Road. The first 3 nights we faced Lake Cook Road and it was very quiet. The last 2 nights we faced the highway and it was too noisy for my liking. Breakfast is so amazing for free. You can pick up quick items if heading out or order an omelet prepared to order at no additional charge. We also picked this hotel because you have dining available in the hotel. Food was very good!

The hotel was lovely and the bar was nice. The room was very clean and incredibly comfortable. It was sad that there were so many kids running amuck Unsupervised and out of control. Also the food in the restaurant was awful. We had dinner there and it was so disappointing. The burger was a frozen patty and the pasta was bland and gummy.

I liked the Embassy Suites, however, I am gluten free and dairy free, and there were no breakfast options for either. I asked about gluten free bread or bagels, and I was told they don't have them. There was no lactose free milk or yogurt.

Amazing! Complimentary breakfast and 2 complimentary drinks during happy hour. Will definitely be coming back to stay since I'll be coming to the Chicago area frequently.
