Place was dirty, smelled like marijuana, water smelled like rotten eggs, white comforter had dirt spots on it. Our room smelled like someone fried fish in it. Pool was under construction but we weren’t notified by it. We left and got our money back.

The property was average. The pool was closed due to maintenance is what the sign said, however, it looked like it hasn't been operational all summer with no repairs going on. The ice machine was inoperable as well. It too, looked like it hasn't been working for months.

Our family spent 3 nights here on a short family trip to St. Louis. The location worked out well for getting in and out of the city and avoiding paying high city prices. The hotel could be nice if they spent a little time and money cleaning things up. The landscaping was completely let go with bushes growing over the sidewalks and tall weeds. When we arrived in our room, there were broken tiles in the bathroom exposing the wall behind the tile. The hallway had a very odd and unpleasant smell, but the room itself, smell fine. We went to the pool one evening, and half the lights in the pool area were out. The water was very murky, and even wearing goggles, my kids were unable to see each other under the water. We were told At check in that the continental breakfast was from 6 to 10 AM period we went downstairs around 9 o'clock, and we were told they were told they were closing. There was food scattered on the countertops, tabletops and floors, and nothing had been refilled. The coffee ran out, juice was empty, and even the bagels and other cold items were gone or in disarray. While the location was nice, if we are back in the area, we will select another hotel.

The room was easy to reserve online. The online rate was better than the rate offered by the front desk. The A/C in our initial room did not work; therefore, we were given a new room. The receptionist didn't have a problem assigning us a new room. After settling into the room, we headed to the pool with the kids. The pool water appeared dirty and cloudy, and we decided not to let the kids swim. Instead, we visited the local recreation center so the kids could swim. I will not revisit this establishment. The breakfast was decent, however, we decided to do fast food instead.

We were very disappointed that the pool was closed for remodeling. That was one of the top three reasons we picked that hotel and we were never notified about the pool prior to arrival. My kids LOVE pool time and they were crushed that they couldn't go in. The room we stayed in needs an upgrade too. It's not worth the money we paid for especially when the pool was closed:(

It was an ok stay. The only issues we had were the A/C unit in the rooms would only cool the room to 75 degrees and then it would kick off until the night time. Then it never kicked off and got the room down to 67 degrees. And the pool was cloudy with to much chlorine and there was hair floating around the water

This is a tired property. The pool was out of order, the breakfast stopped at 9:00 and the breakfast room was a dirty mess. The jets on the jaccuzzi were filthy and the curtains in the room looked like they'd been torn off and re-attached. Simply not being run or maintained like a good hotel should be.

The whole place smells like cigarettes really bad. Someone near our room must have been smoking in their bathroom and it would come through our bathroom vent. Our entire room smelled like cigarettes our entire stay. We aren’t smokers nor are we around smoke and all of my kids left with sore throats and coughs. We did tell somebody at the desk, they didn’t seem to care. The rooms are pretty gross. I brought my own Lysol wipes thankfully to wipe down all surfaces but we will definitely never stay at this hotel again.

The hotel was filthy! From the time you walk in the lobby, elevator floor, and our bathroom floors were horrible!! I took pictures for proof!!!! I even took a picture of a napkin on the floor in the main lobby that was there all day, night, the next morning! Dirt all around the baseboards and toilet! I’m talking black! Mold in the tub area!! Musty smell throughout!!!! The windows on the bottom floor front of building were filthy!!!! The hotel did not have a clean smell at all!!! If we could have gotten a refund and found another hotel, we would have! We have always had good luck with Comfort Suites until now! Very disappointing!!!!!

This hotel was awful! The room smelled musty, carpet was nasty. The furniture was worn out. I've seen better furniture at a yard sale. We were booked for 5 nights but left after the first night. Never stay there again!

The night my daughter and I arrived we saw the dirty floor and damage to most all furniture and walls. We were only staying one night so we checked under the mattresses for bugs and did not find any. We disinfected surfaces, inspected bed sheets and pillows and since those were ok, we went to bed. When we woke the next day, the sheet on my bed had come up and my daughter pointed out the stain on the mattress. We removed the sheets and found black mold on the other side of the mattress!

We requested the quietest room with a king size bed. They gave us the first room on the lobby. Literally, right on the lobby. It was so filthy we did not unpack and immediately requested another room. They did not have another king. They did not offer to compensate us for the smaller room. The next room was only marginally cleaner. I ended up cleaning it myself. Mold in various places and the fixtures were removed and not even covered up. It was awful for the price.

There was a weird smell in the lobby and the room had another weird smell. The floors all needed a good cleaning/vacuum. Mirror in the room was dirty as though someone had licked it. There was a red substance on the inside of the comforter. Our room wasn't cleaned during our stay. Next time we will stay someplace else. It was close to a Dick's Sporting Goods outlet.

Our room ac didn’t work. It blew air but the room was hot. We got in around midnight so it was not worth hassle of moving once we realized the issue. The bathroom wasn’t clean. Cobwebs in the room. The front desk workers were very nice. We were there about 8 hours just to sleep & continue road trip.

The rooms we had were OK. We had booked two rooms and had requested 2 adjoining or close rooms. We didn't get them. Our room was spacious with coffee pot, ice box and Microwave, unfortunately second room had no coffee pot and was quite a bit smaller.

Convenient location, but the room had issues. Window shade did not block out the light and the bed was not comfortable. Toilet clogged and I had to unclog it. There were parts of the hotel that you could tell had not been cleaned in a while (stairwell had piles of dirt). Breakfast was average at best.

The hotel needs an update. Paint is chipping in a lot of places and things seemed a little run down. The breakfast was minimal. The juice machine didn’t work. There were not waffles and the pancakes were very small and did not taste good. There wasn’t any fruit. It was a one night stay, close to the highway, and not very expensive, so it served our needs. However, I wouldn’t stay again. I’m not overly picky but I would have rather paid a little more somewhere else that was nicer and offered a better breakfast for our family.

Overall our stay was okay. Definitely outdated things. Upon arrival wasn’t aware of the extra $100 to be put down for an “ accidental” deposit. Our first night we were in a storm- no electricity til about 3:30Am. It was soooo hot! Tv wouldn’t work during our stay didn’t like that. Couldn’t get extra bedding for the couch. Elevators quit working. Room was decent size. Breakfast was good, other than the cleanliness of the areas. Beds were comfortable. Staff wasn’t very friendly or helpful.

The room itself was decent but the staff wasnt great. I called prior with my stay to confirm whether pets were allowed and what the fee was (I was told $10 per pet per night on the phone and thats also what hotels.com listed), but when I checked in the front desk clerk argued with me about the pet fee and was trying to charge $25/night. The next morning at the breakfast, the attendant seemed annoyed when she was notified that the coffee was empty and she just seemed like she had no interest serving the hotel guests. Overall an OK hotel for the price-it was a clean, and had a comfortable bed which allowed me to rest before hitting the road again, but definitely left a lot to be desired.

We only booked one night at this hotel and planned to arrive late in the night. There's nothing fancy about the room but it was as expected and clean. Im most impressed with the great customer service in the middle of the night. We arrived around 1am and felt safe with my young children and elderly relative. The hotel attendant greeted us promptly and was very welcoming. She made sure our room was right and quickly brought us more linens when we requested them.

First room was 80 degrees. Ended up requesting to be moved rooms. Second room’s beds were the worst I’ve ever slept in. The toilet literally moved when you sat down (not the toilet lid.. the whole toilet) and when we showered, there was at least 4 inches of standing water in the shower. Thankful for the kind staff though! I had prepaid for two nights and after the first night did NOT want to stay again. I asked for a refund for the second night and the lady at the front desk granted my request (very thankful for that).

We stayed for baseball tournament. All the softball and baseball tournaments got canceled due to the rain. Our the families hung out in the breakfast room. The owners did not like this. Told us to be in our rooms by 8. The eventually called the police because we didn’t want to stay in our rooms that early.

I think it is a great place to stay. It has some minor cosmetic issues, but clean and in a quiet (not counting highway noise) location that has a lot of greenery. It feels like a small town a safe place to stay. The staff is friendly. Also, had the best price, hands down.

We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights as a family of 6. I was really impressed with the area and hotel for the price. We had looked at similar places for double the price! The area was very nice and quiet it was right off of Hwy 44. We had everything we needed within 5 miles of the hotel. The breakfast was minimal but we made it work. The rooms were nice and the staff was friendly. My only complaint was the pool has too much chlorine and the pool room was VERY hot. I had to prop my chair in the door to the outside to get some air.

Great property if traveling with pets and is in a quiet location. The wooded area behind the hotel is perfect for taking pets out and listening to birds. Good food options nearby. Bed was comfortable and A/C worked great. The bathroom badly needs refurbishing but there were plenty of clean towels and hot water. Staff at check-in was phenomenal and definitely deserves a shout out. She accommodated by request for room location and was kind to this weary traveler.

The pool was being renovated. It would be nice if Hotels.com had that information, as we were specifically looking for a hotel with a pool. Breakfast was decent, but coffee ran out. I couldn’t find an employee to see if more was being made.

The hotel did not appear well maintained in general. The pillows were lumpy, there were dead bugs in the window of our room, and the AC wasn’t working well. It was hot and humid all night. The breakfast was disappointing. They were out of coffee, eggs, and milk while the employee was in the kitchen on his phone. The hot water for oatmeal was lukewarm at best.
