Best Western Plus Elgin - Chicago

We were very disappointed with our recent stay at this hotel. We chose this property because we previously had an exceptional experience with the same hotel brand in another state, so we expected at least a similar standard of cleanliness & service. Unfortunately, this location fell far below expectations. The room was not properly cleaned upon arrival. The toilet bowl had visible urine stains, the towels provided were stained as well, and looked dirty. One of the elevators was not working and the defective elevator control made it difficult for us to access the second floor. Basic complimentary travel essentials such as toothbrushes, toothpaste, & bathrobes were also unavailable. The only positive thing at this hotel was the staff at front desk was polite & pleasant. Overall, the stay was very unpleasant & disappointing. We would rather choose another hotel and no longer of the same brand even if it costs more to avoid this kind of experience again.

We will stay there again. It’s clean, quiet, at a convenient location for our travels, and the darkest sleeping space in a hotel I can remember having. The restaurant was good. Couldn’t have been happier with the place

Stayed 3 nights to visit family in town. Room was comfortable and clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful! It was really nice to have breakfast included!! Coffee machine was amazing and very much needed for our stay!! We will definitely stay here again in the future, and so will family members!! Thank you, Best Western Plus for your hospitality!
