My husband and I stayed for our anniversary. The rooms are nicely sized and decorated. We had a "lake facing room" which was really pretty. We were able to walk to the mall and restaurants in the area via the walkway around the water just behind the hotel. Lounge and pool area are very nice and spacious, both overlooking the water. Soft close doors were a plus. The only cons were the toilet flush was loud and flushed weirdly but functioned fine, also we could here noise in the hallway and above us at times. Not disruptive in any way, just could use a little more sound proofing.

This is a beautiful hotel and the room was very reasonably priced. We even had a balcony with a view of the lake just behind the hotel. I would came back here in an instant! The food was good ( the house bourbon is Jim Beam and they make a great Manhattan) We had appys and drinks and wanted to go to a steak house. They gave us a great recommendation and close to the hotel

Large parking lot, staff was nice. But walked into the room, the toilet seat would fall down every time, paint was peeling in the shower, glass was cut in the sliding glass door, cabinets were in terrible condition, blood stains on the mattress, pee stains, really slow wifi for the TVs, assuming they will be charging us to have used Netflix on the TV because “internet TV is free for members”. We had a long drive, didn’t bother to call the front desk. Woke up the next morning, looked out of our window and noticed their roof was really dirty, didn’t make for a nice view but it did match the quality that we had seen. Went to check out the next day, get in the elevator and it looked like Wolverine tried to cut through the door. Will not be back. Also, the “lake” is nothing more than a pond.

Our room was nice except for the bathroom. It looked like it had been beat to hell. Missing fixtures from wall. Wallpaper peeling. Floor tiles cracked and a dirty towel was left in the shower. It was the floor towel. It had makeup on it. For a Marriott I was disappointed in the condition of our room for the amount of money we paid. I’d expect this from a motel 6 or Super 8 but not a Marriott. Sorry for being a Karen. Lol

Upon arriving to our room, we found a prescription pill bottle on the floor. It was not under anything, so it should have been easily seen by housekeeping. It made us question how thoroughly the room had been cleaned. We were thankful that my young kids didn't find it before us. The hotel staff quickly moved us to a different room, which was appreciated.

The front desk staff was very efficient and friendly--just what you want for that role! The rooms are starting to show their age and could use a refresh. Nothing major, but the small table was chipped and cracked from use; the trim around the door was pulling away from the door itself; the light over the mirror in the bathroom didn't work. Again, not terrible, but kind of surprising at $259 a night. Will definately stay here again.

They were sold out of our room that we reserved. 🤔 Didn’t sleep well on the pull out bed. It was very uncomfortable. The king bed was great, but four people can’t sleep on it. Since they sold out of the two queen size beds, we had to get the king bed and pull out. Wasn’t ideal and we didn’t sleep well due to it.

Have stayed at this hotel many times before Covid and after. It’s gone downhill in terms of service! Staff overall very nice and friendly but room service has been completely eliminated since Covid which makes no sense. If we stay at a Marriott we expect room service Ordering food from our room and then having to go downstairs to pick it up ourselves is ridiculous and unacceptable. No extra service than a motel very disappointed.

The customer service at this Marriott property was excellent, starting with the check in. Lauren is a superstar! If you happen to order from the bar make sure to ask for Jasmin, he is a phenomenal server. Really great service here—I would stay here again because of the great treatment. Thank you!

This is a well located, beautiful hotel. The room was clean and spacious. However, I thought the service was lacking. We paid $380 per night for a king room with a pull out sofa. The woman at the front desk told me housekeeping would bring up the linens for the queen pull out. That never happened. We had to get them ourselves at the front desk as well as extra washcloths and toilet paper. For that price, the service should be much better.

Rooms were clean and staff was very friendly. The restaurant in the hotel is very slow with serving. Maybe 3 tables with 3-5 people at each table. We waited about 45 minutes just to get our bill each time we ate there. Also, no buffet option when it states a buffet.

This hotel was nice for a business traveler or someone with more means. Not for an average family. The area was more downtown, busy traffic. The mall nearby was more high end. For a family traveling on a budget not accommodating. I was very disappointed no one told me at check in that the breakfast was not complimentary. It doesn’t start until 7, which was late for our schedule. We waited for breakfast to start only to find out it was $24 per person. And was identical, comparable food to other hotel competitors free breakfast. Was a bit too pretentious for my taste to “pretend” to be fancy with “plain Jane” food and a waiter dressed up that I then had to tip to bring me OJ. We didn’t have time at that point to change plans. Wi-Fi is NOT free either, ran on my hotspot instead of paying 9.95 for wifi. Could have done without the “nickel and diming” to try and be a fancy hotel. I did not like that there wasn’t an extra sink area to get ready. That’s important with a family especially as a mom of teenage boys who need their own space. I wound up drying my hair and straightening by the couch while kids used the bathroom. Wasn’t even an outlet near the mirror to help this situation. As an average mom, I would never stay again.
