Super 8 by Wyndham Indianapolis Emerson

There was no elevator. If we would have know that we would have requested a room on the 1st floor. The stairs is difficult for my health condition. The facility was very clean.

Breakfast was all about Walmart brand, very limited selection. There was no air conditioning on so there was a musty smell. No elevator for the second floor over all for the money it was safe and clean.

Upon arrival we were given a room with two twin beds even though we reserved one queen. We went back to the lobby and the attendant said "well i thought you needed two beds." Did receive a queen straight away but their queens are more like fulls and not terribly comfortable. Room was incredibly warm despite it being only low 80s thay day. AC did spit out very cold air but it took several hours to get the room kind of cool. Bathroom had been renevated and shower was friendly to rather tall people with strong water pressure. Breakfast options were very limited. Ice machine not working. Do not recommend.

Hard to get to off street and entrance was not marked but decent place to stay for the price

Liked: ease of finding the place close to the freeway. Convenient being next to Walmart and Goodyear tire - needed them both. Place was very clean - liked the vinyl flooring. Dislike: It was hard to see where the main entrance was arriving after dark due to the entance overhang missing (apparently due to a semi) We went over a very high curb with the RV we were pulling while making the last turn into the property and ended up with a ruined tire. The room we reserved was to have had a queen size bed, but it was only a double. The mattress was a bit saggy in the middle.

The room was excellent with regards to bathroom, bedding, and general condition. The items which detracted from the visit was a limited breakfast menu, ice machines were not in working order, and the noise present in the general area surrounding the motel was somewhat annoying up till about 10:30 PM.

The place was very clean very friendly staff the tub was excellent for soaking beds so comfortable so comfortable we miss breakfast LOL one thing is my reservation stated 2 adults and a child we got a double (bed) room and my daughter ended up joining us and it cost me $11.40 more for her to be there with us even though it sleeps four ... There was a $100 deposit due at check-in that was fine we were well aware of that had no problems checking in or out there were no pool or hot tub and I really didn't see any vending machines for soda or snacks first aid if you forgot your toothbrush or anything like that it was very nice and quiet

Pretty decent motel, very clean room, comfy bed, good water pressure, quiet at night. Nice gasebo outside. All amenities functioned properly, but the outlet at the desk did not work so we used another one. We did not go to breakfast so i cannot say anything about it. You can walk to Walmart next door. Close to the gas station and couple eateries. I recommend this place.

Could use a little upgrading. But location is great. Staff was friendly. Breakfast only had pancakes. A/C in hallway was unplugged and the outlet was burned up. Kind of a fire hazard!!

My young son and I stayed the weekend here for a convention that we were attending downtown. The room was clean and the bathroom was updated. There were many dining options nearby and the parking was easy and free. It was a quick drive to downtown and easy on and off the freeway. The price point was great. The hotels downtown were several hundred per-night, so one night downtown would have been more than the price of our entire stay here. If we come back to Indianapolis, I would consider staying here again, except I would request a bottom floor because they don't have an elevator.

Excellent budget hotel. Room and bathroom were nicely updated, beds were comfy, hallways and lobby kept clean.

Traveler beware... They require you to pat a 100.00 deposit which ( correct me if I'm wrong) isn't disclosed on Hotels.Com . I have never been required to pay a deposit for a hotel for " incidentals "..just weird. . Yes the room was cleanish. There was a cheese puff under bed. Had anyone looked it would have been hard to miss, the beds weren't great nor were the linens... The exhaust fan in the bathroom was dirty and loud. As you walk up and down the hall you can hear the fans running in other rooms. The door to the room had a sizable gap at the bottom. We ended up putting a towel on the floor in front of the door. If you're a light sleeper, this definitely isnt the place for you .The ac unit wasn't great but it worked sorta, well mostly. There is a strong oder in the lobby that smells like Dollar Tree cologne. The TV was horrible. The people and food being displayed were green. The remote wasnt properly programed and there was no list of available channels. I was not given a friendly welcome as we came in and we waited as one family was renting 3 rooms. More than ten minutes in spite of pre-registering and paying.( Isn't that the point? To make check in quick and easy? The Continental Breakfast was just ok. The pancake machine was cool. The pancakes were under cooked and yhin. They had to pay 300.00 in deposit. Completely ridiculous. All in not horrible but definitely not good. This place be rerated. Maybe to... " it's fine " We won't likely return.

The sheets were stained with semen, the comforter had bugs, and the room smelled like smoke.

My stat ended very badly after i was bitten in my bed in my room by a bed bug. When this was brouggt to the managers attention we were accused of bringing the bed bug in the the tone and talk from Deena the managet as well as her assistant manager was rude and unbearable.

I was looking for an inexpensive motel and Super 8 filled the bill. The room was clean and quiet. The only problem was the TV remote wasn't working well and seemed to need batteries. The breakfast provided was spartan with pancakes and toast the only hot option, instant coffee and no boiled eggs

I was pleasantly surprised! I thought for a cheap motel, I would have to deal with a dingy spot. But the room was very clean and updated. Decent staff, big TV, comfy bed, quiet place. No hot breakfast options other than pancakes but hey, it’s free. Walking distance from everything (Walmart, gas, food, activities, etc.) and right off the highway. My deposit was returned promptly and check out was quick. Only problem was the WiFi and TV were super slow. And it would’ve gotten 5 stars but I was visited by a little friend the next morning lol. Probably a straggler from staying in a room by the back door, not a regular problem. That’s how you know it’s a good place cause i DON’T do bugs. Overall, I’d definitely recommend and I’ll be staying here for all my Indianapolis trips!

Tv stopped working, shower head leaked, A/C is loud, sinks leaks

Staff was great, room was comfortable but the guests in the adjoining room were VERY noisy. There is a gap under the adjoining door which probably added to the lack of sound proofing.

Bed was nice, but tje refrigerator in my room waa noisy and could not be unplugged. Breakfast was not good at all. Should upgrade ingredients at least a little!

The staff was fantastic, especially Nicholas! Very friendly, helpful and accommodating! Excellent place to stay, very clean rooms, quiet yet walking distance to over a dozen restaurants and other shopping stores ! And it’s immediately just off the interstate! I’ll be back!!

The staff was rude and argumentative and if I hadn’t already paid and wasn’t tired from traveling, I would have definitely taken my business elsewhere!

The doors slam and the constant slamming led to zero sleep. A ton of in and out made me wonder what was going on. Paper thin walls let you hear every word of the fighting couples next door too. Front desk guy was downright nasty. I wish I had gotten the cheaper place down the road and just gone total slum.

I want to start off with a caveat. The front desk and made staff were very friendly and the rooms were clean. My family as well as the other families that all checked into the hotel had bad experiences. It was around 10am the breakfast was closed but i had coffee I went to get cream, I saw a banana in fruit bowl. On my way back to my room a guy starts screaming and yelling at me breakfast was over. If he was respectful and polite I would have apologized and said I didn't know other hotels Ive stayed with had coffee and tea all day and any fruit out you could take. 2 other groups I was with called asked for a later check out and was told by staf they can stay until 12pm. At 11am the same man can to room told an elderly couple in there 70s they better leave at this moment or they will be charged for another night while yelling and using very rude and disrespectful language. This situation happened with the other group that was also told they could check out at noon. The room was clean the shower drains were not working had to take a shower and bath at the same time. The location has restaurants ,fast food, and walmart in walking distance. Its not the greatest neighborhood. This was the cheapest hotel we ever stayed at we only stayed here for a funeral and tried to stay within everyone budget. I will never again stay at a location like this again id rather spend the extra money for nicer area and friendlier experience. I would give this a 1 based off the staff alone.

Staff was extremely rude and not welcoming at all. i asked for an extra towel and he wanted to argue about it. Aske if they had dollar bills to exchange and he told me no not for me. Horrible place to stay.

Property double booked our room on our second night out of a three night stay. We were awakened at nearly 1 a.m. with someone turning on the lights in our room and standing three deep inside our door.Management told us "Sorry, we made a mistake. Haven't you ever maid a mistake?" The next morning they refused to let me speak with the owner/property manager and told us "they are out of town and you can not have their number."

Nice hotel. Traffic noise from freeway is unavoidable, but just run the fan (ac/heat is very easy to use), plenty of hot water, decent simple breakfast with good pancake-making machine, generic restaurants all around. Polite staff.

The location is very convenient, cross-street of Tesla charging station and next to Walmart. The room is clean and staff are friendly and helpful.

Decent room for a decent price. Pleasant staff. Easy access on and off the highway. Plenty of dining places nearby. Walmart next door. We had a nice quiet stay.

Even though the exterior of the building looks a bit rough and dated, i was very pleased with the updated decor and comfort of the guest room. Clean and comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was acceptable but could be improved. Overall, i would return to this property. There are many eateries near by as well as a Walmart.

This is a nice hotel for the price. We have stayed here before. The bathroom fan was very loud and didn’t really remove any moisture. There was no separate light switch so if you wanted light you got the obnoxious fan. Small, but irritating, thing. Area around hotel is all big boxes and expressway. So no atmosphere. But the place is well kept and feels quite safe. Starbucks across the street is handy. Overall, a good, utilitarian, place to stay if you just need a place to sleep.

I have stayed here the last several years when attending DCI at Lucas Oil Stadium. Not fancy but clean and comfortable. Breakfast is OK cereal yogurt pastries bagels and pancakes. Only 7 miles to the stadium about 15 minutes. Also lots of food options nearby.

The property is located near the expressway. There are several dining options and shopping near this location. The room was clean, but small. It was quite adequate for our stay during GenCon 2025. This facility is approximately 7 miles from Lucas Oil Stadium / Indianapolis Convention Center. The only delays were construction and traffic. The hotel offers a free breakfast, but it doesn't have as much variety offered through other chain hotels. Eggs were hard-boiled, not scrambled or omelets like you may expect. A pancake machine was available. There wasn't any meat provided. I assume this was due to the cost and convenience of quick meal options for on-the-go travelers.

Near Walmart and a lot of restaurants. Room is clean, breakfast is good.

Easily accessible from 465. Quiet even though close to the highway. Great night sleep.

Excellent hotel. I was a little skeptical, as I usually book cheaper hotels and the quality is always a series of compromises. But this hotel was extremely clean, the location was very convenient and felt safe, the breakfast had an automatic pancake machine, bananas, cereal, hard boiled eggs, several types of oatmeal, bagels, toast, yogurt, several types of muffins, apple juice, orange juice, & milk, and probably a few other things I'm forgetting. The staff was extremely kind and helpful. It was just under a 15min drive to the Indiana Convention Center & Lucas Stadium. It's right next to a ton of food options as well as a Walmart. I had very few noise issues. There seems to have been several updates to the hotel recently including fancy lighted mirrors in the bathrooms. The tub was very clean as well as the bed & sheets. I had an extremely pleasant experience staying here and I was able to save several hundred dollars by not staying downtown and just making the 15min commute. Also very conveniently they accept cash for the $100 security hold, so I was able to get it back right away upon checkout rather than waiting weeks for it to get refunded on my card. I don't always take the time to leave positive reviews as much as I do negative ones, but this hotel really is worth mentioning everything they do well. I will definitely be staying here again when I return to Indiana for another convention.

We were in town for the Indy 500 and stayed here. The shower worked, the toilet worked, the beds were comfortable, the staff was friendly, and there was hot coffee every morning, not a whole lot more we needed. Biggest complaint I had was the lack of options for breakfast, but not a huge deal. Overall, comfortable stay, no issues.
