Bed comforts for short time Was talked out of first floor handicapped room by afternoon desk clerk. Only to find out they dont have an elevator. My knees were killing me by check out. Never again. I was planning on paying cash for room, ran my card without checking with me. Wont stay there next visit

There was so much construction going on the road in front of the Super 8 it was hard to get in and out. No fault of the Super 8. Just made it alittle harder for seniors to maneuver in and out onto the road. With all the big machines it was hard to see if there was a car or truck coming. And next time I will ask for ground floor I don't do stairs well.

Very quick check in. Large room and very clean. Good parking area with security cameras at the door. Not a big variety for breakfast but hot and enough to satisfy the morning hunger apitite. Would stay again.

We had a very good stay. Everything was very clean and tidy and our breakfast was great. I had no need for a handicap room when I made my reservation. But just a few days ago I injured my back and there were no handicap rooms or anything on the ground floor. No elevator either so I had to go up and down stairs in excruciating pain.

Parking around the back of the bldg needs to enlarged especially when you have semi’s parking here. They need fix/update the room electrical( wall plugs loose in the wall, no usb plugs ) just minor stuff like that….other than that great stay

The building was fine, the rooms were quite nice and clean and well prepped. Check-in was very easy and we love the fact that we had a first floor that we didn’t have to climb steps too. However the parking lot could use a bit of work. This would be the only thing that I would consider slightly deficient

We enjoyed our visit to Shipshiwana. Our room was very clean and well taken care of, it didn’t smell stale, nothing was broken and it was very comfortable. Breakfast in the morning was perfect for us too. Thank you for a great stay, keep up the GREAT work!

As soon as we walked in I was overwhelmed with a strong chemical smell. It was throughout the hotel and in our room. It was so bad we almost had to leave. I had a headache every time we were in the hotel. The room appeared clean though dated. Staff was fine but definitely not friendly or welcoming. We chose to skip breakfast as it didn’t look appealing at all. We would definitely not stay again.

Room smelled musty and felt damp. Reserved a queen bed, it was a double. Did not experience the breakfast area, it closed at 9am on a Sunday. I will say it's a nice place if you're seeing a show at the Blue Gate Performing Arts Center -- quick walk from your room!

My room smelled terrible. Fabreze over filth!! I did not have a do not disturb sign When I arrived back for my second night the door was open. They made the bed….didnt leave coffee or anything. I’m grateful that my tablet was still there! Never again!

The room was clean and comfortable. Its a little out dated, but well maintained. We were put in room 204, and all throughout our stay there was noise, every 20-45 seconds, from a faulty condensation pump. It interrupted our sleep several times that night and made it hard to get to sleep. We pointed it out to the front desk in the morning and he confirmed the pump was in need of repair. My husband asked why they would put people in that room if they were aware of the noise, and he had nothing to say. So, if you stay here, do not stay in room 204.

Staff was friendly and way better than most Super 8’s. I normally don’t stay at Super 8 because many are not clean but stayed here based on previous good reviews. I’m happy we stayed at this Super 8 in Shipshewana for 5 days while visiting the area. The room and hotel was clean and very close to everything. The breakfast was hot but tasted just ok. They had eggs, bacon, sausage and biscuits and gravy along with waffles. We will definitely stay here again.

The workers were very nice. We had an issue and they fixed it right away for us. I didn’t realize they didn’t have an elevator, and our room was on the second floor. I’m handicapped and couldn’t do the stairs. They were fully booked, but fixed it for us. Then I needed something printed and they tried so hard to get it printed for me. I highly recommend this property

Check in was a huge pain because they didnt know how to use the system with hotels.com bookings. I was exhausted and had to wait way too long while they figured it out. The bed is super uncomfortable. The double bed queen room doesnt have a door to the second bedroom for some weird reason and the absolute worst part of the trip was the text at 7:30am from the hotel asking when we would be checking out. THIS IS WILDLY INNAPROPRIATE. If I have the room until 11 then I will keep it until 11 but since I didn't sleep the night before because of the bed, I was furious that they texted me in the morning, on a Sunday to see when I was leaving. I wont recommend this hotel to anyone.

The town of Shipshewanna is wonderful. This motel is located next to a gas station and the big entertainment venue. It is in a convenient area. That being said spend the extra money and stay somewhere else especially if you have allergies to mold/dust. I don’t think the air con has ever been maintained. Ours even had stuff spilled all over it and down the side. The front desk folks are as unfriendly as they come. Seemed put out to be checking us in and out. The breakfast is something to absolutely be skipped. Spend the extra money and stay somewhere else there are many nicer places in the town.

The advantage of this property is that it's next door to the Blue Gate Performing Arts Center, so it's a 2 minute walk to go to concerts there. The hotel's decent, clean rooms, easy check in, and within a few minutes drive to the major attractions of Shipshewana. I'll definitely return. Prices are reasonable as well.

We were seeing a concert and this motel is across the parking lot so easy to walk to the concert venue. Plus they have a great breakfast. This is my thurd time stating here.

Everything was out dated the beds was small, it wasn’t a queen bed like it said, floors had a yuck feeling to them, and chairs was nasty that was in the room. And the breakfast was cold and not cooked well, and did not stay open late enough, breakfast closed at 9am instead of 10am.

Everything was excellent. Great breakfast. Warm welcome. Good bed. TV worked, and remote control was provided and fully functional with 100s of channels. Local area was quiet and the locals were friendly. Food at nearby Blue Gate restaurant was great.

All was good. Breakfast was great! Eggs, meat, biscuits and gravey! Not simply carbs. Staff were helpful and very friendly. We were close to the tourist district and right nextdoor to the Blue Gate Center for the Preforming Arts.

I had a comfortable bed, good location, and quiet I know not to expect a decent breakfast but this one was the worst I’ve ever had. Only good thing was the coffee. If I should ever stay there again, I will bring my own
