Der Ruhe Blatz Motel

Chose this place because it reminded me of the old hotels we used to stay at as a child easy in and out access to the location we needed was the only good thing about this day other than it was quiet, cause they weren’t busy breakfast was horrible scrambled eggs with corn and peas in them for someone that has diverticulitis that cannot consume corn was uncalled for sausage was undercooked look like they just been rolled in hot water and put out went to get yogurt had expired April 28. This was May 16 that we were there informed the clerk well I don’t know what happened. No apologies. Nothing the cost of having to drive somewhere else for breakfast is not worth staying there ever again.

Room, parking and staff were all great. Breakfast was a typical motel breakfast.

Comfy bed, clean, quiet and within walking distance to the Blue Gate Theater.

The room was very clean, loved the fresh, clean smell of the linens! Staff was friendly & the grounds were well maintained. Parking was fine. I only had one issue, I had an extremely difficult time getting onto the bed! They are very high & an older person can’t quite maneuver like we use to! And I think the bathroom could use more than one grab bar. Maybe I should have requested a handicap room! Anyhow, over all, a very pleasant place to stay!

The breakfast was very good. Very conveniently located for our show at the Blue Gate Performing Arts Center. Our room was clean and all on 1 level. I will definitely stay at this property again.
