Had a good experience

The room was clean but had a very damp and musty smell. In the room, there were visible mouse/bug traps in the open corners of the room. I had small children and didn't want them around those. Evening staff when visible were helpful but morning staff helped with no personalities. Breakfast was great for the kids and was your normal hotel breakfast. The pool was nice especially for younger kids. The beds were not comfortable and the air conditioning unit only worked have the time to actual cool the room. This is not my first place to stay but it was okay for a family on a short visit.

I was put on the second floor where there were wet paint signs everywhere. I was so nervous I was going to get paint on my clothing and also the fumes were strong. Not sure if the whole hotel was being painted or just that floor, but I would think they would put people on other floors that weren’t freshly painted and being dried. Additionally, there was a mouse trap in my room, so that was pretty disgusting. The front desk staff in the morning was not very friendly and was more interested in her phone than helping guests. I could hear all the footsteps of the people above me. Pillows need replaced.

All was great except fitness center, treadmill out of order and only a recumbent bike and free weights for other choices, need at least 2 treadmills and I an 1 elliptical.

We had trouble with booking and then we had a not so great experience while onsite. The room & accommodations were ok, but not exceptionally clean or well kep.
