Sigh. This has been my go-to state track meet hotel for 3-4 years. When I get there, I am usually starving, hot, and tired. If it's four times, then three times my key has not worked resulting in a ton of extra walking (it's a big hotel) carrying heavy gear and my ever-colder food. Once resulted in a suite. Last time I had ants but not so many as to be a bother. Didn't feel unclean. This time, I get stuck across the hall from Boo Radley. Door is utterly filthy. On it is tacked a notice of mandatory cleaning. When I go downstairs to fix key and come back up, Boo is roaming the halls and his door is cracked to release a terrible stench. My room was actually fantastic. Felt and looked clean. Plenty of space. Great hot water. But I was exhausted and fell asleep early. Did I wake at 2 on my own? Maybe. But I was up from 2 am until about 330. Boo was as well, creating really loud noise in unimaginable ways. I get the hotel's hands may be tied but what a terrible eyesore. If I'd had kids, I would have been really upset to be across the hall from this guy. And even though my room seemed plenty clean, I have to wonder what this guy is bringing in and what he's doing outside his room at 2 a.m. I'm a creature of habit and I've enjoyed this hotel. But given the card issues and something like Boo Radley, I'll definitely consider my other options when booking next year.

We had booked a room in the handicap room since my husband just got out of the hospital. They put us on the third floor. When I complained when we checked in, they moved us to the second floor. But they didn’t tell us that the elevator would be not working for five days. We were a prisoner in that room. They said it would be working by Thursday, now it didn’t not until Friday. We checked into a different hotel because this one was so bad. Room was nice that’s about all I can say.

We have been coming to this hotel for the past 5 years for bowling tournament and it has slowly declined over the years but this year was the worst. First, the power outlets in the bathroom do not work. The side doors of the hotel will allow you to leave but you cannot get back in through those doors as there are no outside handles. People would prop the doors open so there was no security, anyone and everyone could come in the hotel regardless if they were staying there or not. The hotel is filthy, trash everywhere. Only two towels in the bathroom, my wife uses at least two, one for her hair and the other to wrap around herself. When I called the front desk to ask if I could come grab two more they said "give me 5 minutes and we will bring them". After waiting 20 minutes and standing in the shower with no towel, my wife called the desk and they proceeded to tell her to bring the two dirty towels and they would give us two more. They tell her only two towels per room. What!? only two towels. So needless to say we will never stay there again.

The property and room were nice, but not great. The room key card did not work or work well for the majority of the time. The mirror in the bath was broken with a crack from top to bottom that was repaired with blue painter's tape. The recliner ottoman would not tetract which caused a trip hazard on which I tripped over whole getting into bed. But overall, I would stay here again if I needed another weekly room.

Full kitchen and comfy beds. Air conditioner works great. The one thing I found that was inconvenient is the vending machines only take cards, and the prices were outrageous. Coffee machine didn't work the whole time. Otherwise it was well worth the cost.

First impression was that the common areas were dirty. There was furniture and towels in the hallway leading to our room. The elevator and hallway carpet looked like they hadn't been cleaned in a long time. The room REEKED of cigarette smoke. My wife also thought that it smelled of wet dog. There were poop stains in the toilet, and the bathroom floors were cruddy. The icemaker in the refrigerator did not work, and there were no ice makers at the hotel. The refrigerator also had dirt and leftover food in the crisper drawer. The staff tried to help, but it often seemed like there was only one person on duty most of the time. Very poor facility.

I thought the parking was excellent, we were able to quietly access our room from the lot. The interior was laid out nicely. Staff wete exceptionally pleasant and always helpful. We did have some issues with our card keys, and sometimes needed to insert them 5 or 6 times to unlock doors, which at times was a bit frustrating.

Rooms were very nice with kitchenette. Ice maker did not work. Was very clean. Bed was very comfortable. Very low water pressure in dinks and shower. Hallways and handrails were very dirty. Some outside door handles were broke and replaced with a piece of wood, making them hard to open.

This hotel was awful. We checked out in under half an hour of checking in. The hallways reeked of smoke and it was so humid inside it was hard to breathe. The appliances were rusting, as well as the drawer pulls and light fixtures. The room itself reeked of wet animal and cigarette smoke and was supposed to be a nonsmoking room. The hallways reeked of animal urine. DO NOT STAY HERE. The photos shown in the picture are not what our room looked like. It was a white rusted fridge and dingy bathroom door with paint peeling off. The manager refused a refund and hung up on my husband when he called.

The room was infested with roaches crawling everywhere. The hallways had a urine animal type smell. I had to go out and purchase bug spray which increase the roaches coming out everywhere. You felt paranoid after seeing roaches on the furniture and dropping from the ceiling. The stay seemed indifferent about the problem. I lost my money and didn’t receive any compensation. I had to check out early and go to a cleaner hotel.

The room seemed clean and the a/c worked. Outside the room however the carpet was disgustingly soiled, black in places. The hallways smell very bad, like a garbage dump. One of the rooms had a notice taped to the door stating the room was full of trash and needed immediate cleaning. The notice was dated November 2024. I was there August 2025.

This was by far one of the best extended stays I've stayed at to date. The room was spacious with plenty of workspace in the room. The bed was very comfortable. The kitchen was the star with a full size fridge, spacesaver microwave, 2 top burner plate, plus toaster coffee maker and all you needed to cook and eat. Only issuses i saw were it didnt have have a oven, maid service only once a week, and the shower had low pressure. Overall the great out weighed the bad by far. I recommend this spot to anyone visiting the Wichita area

Ice was only available via in-room freezer, but nobody told us that when we checked in. There were dirty dishes in the dishwasher & cups in the cabinet weren’t particularly clean either. Walls and floors are very thin and noise from other rooms was awful. Bathroom floor was cracked & towel hook was falling off the wall. Room layout was good, bed and shower were very nice, good availability of in-room amenities.

The toilet flushes slowly. The ac was making a loud noise, it sounds like it was going to break. The card reader to enter the room was giving us a hard time and not reading the magnetic strip on the card properly.

Very clean rooms, which I appreciated. Hot water in shower was lukewarm so showering was not too comfortable. Front desk would not print a receipt, which I need for work. When we checked in, the desk said I would have a printed receipt upon checking out.

Very comfortable room. Temperature was true on thermostat and bed was VERY comfortable! Nice set up in kitchen and restroom was roomy and easy access in and out of tub/shower.

This hotel is in a great location. Our check-in was easy. Our room looked nice and clean. Our mattress was broke down and very uncomfortable. I would recommend this hotel replace mattresses when they are broken down.

The room was nice, clean & comfortable. The kitchenette included a dishwasher, dishes & silverware. The bed was comfortable. The only thing I didn't like was the water pressure in the shower was really low. Overall, my stay was nice.
The room was nice, clean & comfortable. The kitchenette included a dishwasher, dishes & silverware. The bed was comfortable. The only thing I didn't like was the water pressure in the shower was really low. Overall, my stay was nice.

I've stayed here twice recently. Both times I stayed in Rm #309. I have no comments about the staff or service, but the room has some issues. The toilet is too low and short. It needs to be replaced. When sitting on the toilet, one occasionally touches the water in the bowl when trying to wipe oneself. The toilet tissue roll holder has been torn off and not replaced. As best I could tell, the stovetop does not work. The mattress was the finest I've ever slept on. It was actually a factor that influenced how long I stayed. I will definitely stay here again if circumstances warrant.

Very clean rooms, which I appreciated. Hot water in shower was lukewarm so showering was not too comfortable. Front desk would not print a receipt, which I need for work. When we checked in, the desk said I would have a printed receipt upon checking out.

Ladies and gentlemen a non smoking property means a non smoking property and no one should have to endure a room that obviously has been smoked in particularly when you have breathing issues to begin with No one should be subject to attitude from the front desk but telling a customer what they cant do to help rather than what they can do and are willing to do. When you’re not greeted warmly from the start , it kind of puts a bad taste about a business. When we walked in we weren’t greeted. I believe it was the Dad that ended up helping us while I’m assuming the two daughters and the wife didn’t acknowledge us. I believe this is more of a Motel than a Hotel. I believe they have long term residence there because I seen mail boxes. I feel this should be noted so that potential guess know. When we walked into the Hotel you could smell a faint “herb” smell. Then the next morning when leaving we opened the door to leave and was hit with a huge wave of “ herb.” It should be done outside away from people because some people have health elements that can be affected by it. The room was clean , so I thought … Just not a great experience.

The location was perfect for us. Convenient to the clinic where I had appts. Even though we made reservations at least a week in advance, to stay from Sunday evening until Friday morning, on our arrival we were told there were no handicap accessible rooms available! I showed her my computer printout, she made a phone call and said there is a room, it has been cleaned, but the bed is not made, so we will have it ready in a few minutes. Okay. Next day, when we came back from my appointment, the room had not been cleaned. The best she could do is exchange our dirty towels for clean. The rest of the four days, we hung up our towels. But the room had the roll in shower and NEEDED to be mopped. We had no access to a mop! They did not service our room once. We had to take out the trash ourselves... Out the back door to the dumpster over rough grassy terrain. And the key cards did not work to open the door to come back in. He took his cell phone with him after the first time he got locked out, and called me to let him back in. We were in a handicap accessible room for a reason! This was difficult for my husband, and we were there for medical appointments for me! The Internet was very unstable. We were able to log on only once, but could not maintain connection. The door key cards had to be reprogrammed almost every day. By Thursday, she told us that if it is kept near a cellphone it will erase the access code. I never heard that before, but okay. We were leaving in the morning.

Night 1 I flushed the toilet and it overflowed. I quickly turned off water and threw the towels on the floor. I called the front desk. They said they would be up. They brought me a plunger, 2 trash bags, and towels. I had to plunge the toilet myself and clean up the mess (when I plunged the water turned brown…I did not poo). This should have been their job. It was disgusting. I called the desk again and said I was done. They said to place the plunger and towels in the hall (I put everything in the clear trash bags). The bag with the plunger and bag of dirty towels were still in the hall when I left 2 days later. I will never stay at this hotel again.

Overall it was a nice stay. The hallways always had weird smells. The room had a kitchenette but missing silverware and dishes and didn't have a coffee pot. The room was clean and the staff were awesome. Would recommend for a long stay.

Full kitchen and comfy beds. Air conditioner works great. The one thing I found that was inconvenient is the vending machines only take cards, and the prices were outrageous. Coffee machine didn't work the whole time. Otherwise it was well worth the cost.

Had to really work with the shower valve on the tub faucet to get the shower to work. Didn't know they no longer provided hangers, you need to provide your own. Staff is friendly. If you don't have your own transportation,a Mexican restaurant close-by is the only place to get food except for their vending machines

Stays at Main Stay are for long term guest not for travelers. There was no hand soap or shower soap until I requested at front desk. They do not serve beakfast of any kind even though they advertise they do. There is no information supplied in rooms for tv channels or in case there is storm warnings. They do no give you maid service daily and in fact your told your room will not be serviced during your stay.

Was a better room this stay…super hot shower and comfy bed. Passing thru to head home from chartered trip so it’s only one night but was good price for the need. Close to good restaurants but still no cups in room. One had no coffee for coffee maker

My mom stayed here for my graduation. She was happy with it. It was very close to many places ( within 5 - 7 min drive). It was great that the room had a kitchenette. The only thing my mom did not appreciate was cooking as there is a timer for how long you can have the stove on. As my mom prefers cooking her own food, she had to get used to that first. Overall, it was a good experience.

Five of us traveling together,booked 3 rooms,all clean but one was definitely smoking room, smelled smoky in all hallways, no cups of any kind in two of the rooms, no ice buckets or ice machines, no tissues in rooms, no cups in community coffee area, no water in vending machines and no one could get us any from anywhere else. Elevator was out when we first arrived but fixed later in the evening. Would not stay there again but already have nonrefundable reservation for return trip back thru Wichita. Crossing our fingers.

The bathroom was clean but it’s so old that it didn’t really help. Dead bugs in the bathroom and on the carpet. I was uncomfortable and won’t stay there again. And it was not cheap. Also, they told me the front door would be unlocked all night. Unacceptable!

I’ve been staying here for about a month everything about the personnel and property is top notch or I wouldn’t continue to stay here. I don’t like how much the rates have increased since I first came here and I will have to find other accommodations due that fact. I simply can’t afford to stay here much longer. But I do understand due to the economic climate that the war is causing the upward prices everywhere.

The only complaint I had was the exercise room smells . Due the carpet needs shampooing, it has stains wall to wall.

When we checked in they didn’t have all 3 nights we booked available but eventually they figured it out and got us a room. The hotel clerk was very nice and helpful. The hotel had no ambience or character at all and is very sparse and minimal. And old and rundown. The hallways and carpet were gross and depressing and when we got to our room the keys didn’t work. When we walked in, the room had a horrible smell. Like cleaning products over stale smoke. We left immediately. Would never stay there.
