we had a great stay. the front desk agent was very polite and explained everything we needed to know on our stay. the room was nice and clean. parking was easy to get to. the only thing i would consider updating is the beds and pillows. the pillows were small and not very firm, and the beds were kinda worn down but is expected with it being a hotel. we all got a good nights sleep, it was quiet and not far from the skating rink that was hosting the speed meet! we will be back on our next trip out. thanks again for a good stay!

Booked as smoking room on Expedia was told at check in that the property was non smoking. Upon entering the room I immediately saw two crumpled cigarette butts under the dresser. There was a cigarette burn in the bed covers the window had a stick in it to keep it from being slid open from the outside. The vending machine was old and from the 80’s or 90’s it only took singles no credit card or change and the night manager was very unhelpful when I asked for change to purchase a soda. Over all I was very displeased and will not stay there again.

roomsmelled terrible ,sheets were so thn you could see through them, blanket was hardly any better. Hairdryer was broke, no iron. towels were so thin couldn't get dry with them. asked for more blankets, as had a sick person, had none. we were moved to another room but then had to move towels to new room as were none there, at least it didnt smell as bad. day person was no help about issues. transportation to airport they had to call someone but no way back on return.

Clerk was less than pleasant. He did not talk. Perhaps because ESL. Room condition needed help. The toilet lid was broke and the dead bolt was extremely hand to engage. I had to lift the door up with great effort to get it to work. Beds were hard and got up with backache both mornings. I was downstairs talking a walk and went to the restroom but it was looked. I was told they were no functioning. They stopped servicing breakfast after COVID but said the would start back up when they could. They did offer free granola bars in the morning. There was a coffee nook but they did not have any coffee made for guests. Morning front desk was friendly

While the hotel was clean and fairly up to date - I was happy I was able to park my car there and be able to get shuttled to the airport in the morning. However, the "shuttle" was an old delapidated sedan and then when I arrived back in Wichita to retrieve my car, they didn\'t have a driver available to pick me up for 30-40 minutes. They instructed me to get a taxi or an Uber. Even though I clearly gave them instructions in writing when I would be arriving back to Wichita. Don\'t be fooled by "shuttle service". I won\'t do this twice.

The clientele was a tad sketchy and made me uncomfortable. Seemed like a druggy haven. Breakfast was meager. Nobody said it had to be a full spread but I wound up having to go and buy a meal … even the juice machine was out of order

I tried to use the bathroom i was told to use a screw driver to open the door . My room sstink of cigerattes for some odd reason the carpet in my room was dirty and had humps in it. Its only 1 way in to the hotel . And the towels are insanely small

I was traveling with an elderly gentleman and he is recovering for a triple bypass surgery and is on oxygen, we had a room on the second floor and he had to climb the stairs. No other rooms were available.

Well...lets see. There is NO washer and dryer for anyone other than house keepers. There is no soda in the machines. The cereal bars are kept under a lock and jey for "breakfast". The phone i ternet and cable were off the entire last day we stayed. Just lackluster. Never again.

Previously arranged Shuttle to airport fell through and no ride shares available at the hour... almost missed my flight. Used shuttle next door to get to airport. Very run down... this was a textbook example of you get what you pay for.

The room we were initially assigned had a couple of issues, and the staff were quick to resolve the matter, and in fact upgraded the room from a single queen to a double queen room with no conflict. I was very happy with the quality of service, and when we were settled, it was quite comfortable, clean, and nice and quiet.

I didn’t even stay the night. I arrived through what looked like an alleyway surrounded by factories. Once inside the room smelled awful, the chair in the room was completely skinned of the front seating area and there was a lightbulb missing in one of the bed lamps. The “lock” was a chain lock and I could hear people fighting in other rooms. This is not what I expected at all. I turned in my key and left immediately after seeing the room. I didn’t even ask for my money back.

Room was dirty, hair in tub, no towels, sheet were. Shredded. Bedside light did not work. Refrigerator was dirty. Food frozen in freezer. Told manager he acted like i did something wrong . Showed him pictures all he offered was 10% discount. I checked out today and book a different hotel.

It had an old torn chair in my room, that I wouldn't let my dog sleep on. Two bath towels were stained, what looked to be blood. I haven't stayed there for probably a year and it has really gone down hill.

Lobby smelled like cigarette smoke and the building was run down. In the room, the carpet was dirty, bed was hard as a rock, the shower head wasn't even held into the wall (the shower pipe just came out of a hole in the wall), the recliner in my room had 4 cigarette burn holes on the arms, and the smell of my room left my clothes very stinky. No breakfast either. I would not stay here again.

Terribly outdated facility. Stained and thin linens. 1-ply paper products. No place to turn around or hang anything in bathroom. And the room rental is more expensive than most of the other more updated places we have stayed on this trip.

08.07.25 - Queen bed, 1st floor: the stay was actually fine, it wasn’t anything spectacular, but it wasn’t supposed to be. The furniture inside the room is extremely worn, to the point where the leather chair is peeling and looks like something they picked up at a garage sale. The carpet is not clean, either, it’s vacuumed, but if you walk around on it and then look at your feet, you can tell it hasn’t been deep cleaned in a long time. The towels are also extremely small, they are like extra large hand towels, and it would’ve been nice if there was a coffee maker in the room. There’s a refrigerator in a microwave and an ironing board… But no coffee maker. It’s a commuter hotel and I get that, but the walls are paper thin plus being on the first floor made for excessive noise upstairs with heavy foot traffic. The overnight stay served its purpose, but given the choices in the area I probably wouldn’t stay here again. Improvements need to be made if they are going to compete. 6.9 out of 10 Recommend. —J

This is a great value. Room was clean. Air conditioning worked great. Water pressure and temperature was hot and extremely high. Staff was very nice. Room and hotel does need upgrades. That didn't affect my stay. The bathroom did have some of the popcorn ceiling falling off. Plenty of cable tv channels including HBO. Very large size refrigerator not the tiny half size one's. Overall a good value. I stayed for 5 days and had no issues.

Staff was very friendly. We had to switch rooms because our toilet had no water running to it. Our second room was fine. The TV would turn on, but would not connect to any of the inputs, so it was useless. For being so close to traffic and the airport, it was surprisingly quiet.

This location is old and needs updating. The woman running the desk was amazing. I witnessed her handling multiple people at once and even dealt with a communication challenge because of guests with language barriers. I wish I would have gotten her names. She was attentive to everyone. My room has a smokey stale smell and I understand that that can be a challenge to monitor. She offered me a different room, but I told her I'd be fine with an air freshener. She immediately addressed my needs and even brought my driver's license to my room, when I accidentally left it. Other hotels would have had me come to the front desk. She truly needs a raise and should be commended for her work. She also knew the history of the Howard Johnson locations, when I asked about some of the retro pictures on the wall. She said she grew up traveling with her parents taking the family on many trips and always booking at Howard Johnson locations. She is not only a loyal employee, but she exemplifies a professionalism and genuine interest to listen to the customers and make sure everyone has a positive experience.

Our 2-night stay at this hotel was an absolute nightmare! Where to start: (1) the facility/room/property was disgusting and poorly managed, (2) the room was a king suite with appliances, yet none of them work properly or at all, (3) the alarm clock was broken, (4) the phone didn't work, (5) it had no smoking signs everywhere, yet the 2nd floor smelled heavily of cigarettes, (6) it advertised a breakfast, but only served coffee, (7) the toilet lid/seat was falling off and wound-up fixing it myself, (8) when called for service, no one came, (9) the 2nd floor housekeeper called in sick both days and had to go get our own clean towels, etc., (10) the trash was never emptied and we had to do it ourselves! This place needs some serious new management, staff, and facility upgrades!

Continental breakfast is STILL canceled from “COVID” (come on, we are over all of that!) - and the property looks a little sketchy from the outside. Inside is okay.. there’s a weird smell in the hotel and I found a dirty wash cloth behind the bathroom door. Gross.

This is an older hotel. It could use a few updates, but it was very clean and the staff members were very friendly. They dont offer breakfast, just a couple of breakfast bars, so that was kind of a bummer. Overall, however, it was a nice place and I would stay there again.

As other reviewers said, it wasn't a real breakfast. They said something like it was only on weekends. And all it was, essentially was a shared box of donuts people could pick out of, hot chocolate packets, with some juices in pitchers inside the fridge.
