I liked it was like an apartment unstead of hotel I didn't like the hot tub was not working

The condition of the room I was initially assigned was unacceptable and did not align with the standards presented on your website. Upon arrival, I documented several issues, including holes in the walls, stained linens, outdated appliances, and worn carpets. Most critically, the air conditioning was non-functional. Despite reporting the issue to the front desk, the problem persisted. Maintenance personnel initially stated that the air conditioning would take 20 minutes to activate, but after five hours of enduring an 86-degree room with my family, including a four-year-old, the situation remained unresolved. When we requested a different room, we were informed that the hotel was fully booked. It was late in the evening, and finding alternative accommodations was not feasible. Eventually, we were moved to a "renovated" room, which, while better, still had noticeable imperfections. Additionally, the pool was poorly maintained, the advertised basketball court was nonexistent, and the hot tub was out of service. The overall cleanliness of the hotel was subpar, and the breakfast options were limited. Furthermore, we were unjustly harassed by the office staff regarding alleged noise complaints from other guests. I strongly advise against staying at this hotel unless absolutely necessary. The deposit required for the suites and other rooms does not justify the experience, especially considering the property's location in a questionable area.

Walking around my room, my feet got really dirty, almost black. Did anyone mop the floor? Had a bunch of teenagers being loud from 2-4 AM behind the office. Could you not see them on cameras or hear them? Nothing done about it. The room has a full kitchen and bar, but no pots, pans, dishes, cups, or silverware. It, also, has a dishwasher. When I went to get breakfast, there was a limited selection. Then, I see a bunch of signs that state that you are not allowed to bring your breakfast to your room. I did anyway after being angry about a lack of sleep due to the noise. This used to be a very nice facility.

The staff was nice but the facility wasnt what the third party website advertised. There was no working hot tub , the pool was clean but water was freezing. Towels for the pool was very thin and the size of a hand towel. Loungers were broke. Suites didnt have any kitchen utensils or cleaning supplies. The whole facilty including the landscape around the suites needs updated.

Burn marks all over, although it's a no smoking room. Parking lot is filthy and big pot holes. We managed and it was quiet, great proximity to restaurants and shopping.

Floor was not clean and there were no transition strips so if you stepped on that you got poked. Staples coming out of the closet. The closet did not even work. Mold. Could not even give me a new box of Kleenex. Didn't have any fitted sheets or sheets for the pull out. The area around the buildings were overgrown and on manicured. Would not stay there again.

My stay was actually pretty comfortable and quiet, however, three property and it's amenities do not match online statements and photos. I choose to stay here for the pool, hot tub, and other activities that were claimed available. Upon arrival, I was told that the hot tub was not in working order and on my way to the room I noticed the tennis and basketball courts were in disrepair with no nets. Was told that my room was newly renovated. Upon entrance, found out that was a complete lie. It wasn't terrible, but far from the truth.

The place is old. It used to be a Residence Inn years ago and still has the same old mattresses and furnishings in it. They are way over priced for what you get. Also its not very accessible to get into. You only have access from one direction of the street. No sign or anything. If you don't know where the driveway is you can miss it, especially if you are from out of town

Booked a full 2br with loft. Old unkempt property $200 deposit. Pool opens and closes when they feel like it, hot doesn't work. Full kitchen is a joke. ABSOLUTELY NOTHING is provided. Unless you bring your own tableware, service ware, utensils, pots, pans etc the kitchen is useless. Had to adk 3 days in a row before they even came to vacuum. Property loud, and grounds are trashy.

I called the front desk and they immediately sent someone to look at it. The next morning, someone came to look again. They insinuated that it was because the shower door was left open, but we knew that wasn't the case because the door was broken and you have to lift it to close it. We just didn't use the upstairs bathroom anymore during our stay. They also advertise a basketball court, which my two teen boys were excited about. When we arrived, we learned they do have a court, just no goals, which sort of defeats the purpose of a court at all if you ask me. The room was old and in serious need of updating. The kitchen stove had a glitch that left the "burner on" light turned on, so I was constantly checking to ensure it was turned off. The carpets were stained and ripped up in spots. The barstools were so dirty, we didn't even want to sit in them. We had got the 2 bedroom suite so we could have family over while in town, but we ultimately decided to stay away from the hotel instead. We used our own bedding and only stayed there long enough to sleep both nights. It was not worth the money. We will not be returning.

The room was dirty. There was mold growing in the ceiling in the bathroom. The area outside was trash littered. I think there were 2 sumo wrestlers marching back and forth in the room above me. There were no plastic glasses or other kinds of simple amenities. There isn’t a single redeeming quality about this hotel. The front desk person asked for $100 in cash in lieu of a credit card hold, which was weird. I want my money back.

We got in before dark and did not leave our room til morning to leave. Breakfast was terrible, coffee was cold at 6:30 in the morning and it had coffee grinds in the coffee. I could keep going .. but will save you time. Do not recommend.

It was kinda sketchy and way older and dirtier than the pictures they have depict.

The room was incredibly run down. Flooring tiles were loose, closet doors were hanging off the track, carpet was dirty, actually everything was either stained or dirty, and there was an animal in the fireplace.

For what we paid for this room it was awful. It was dirty and had stains on the couch and cigarette burns on the bathroom counter tops. It smelled awful. The pictures on the internet are deceptive!

The room was in need of repair. The toilet leaked from the base, I couldn't turn off the shower water, the floor was stained by the bed and there was a lot of dirt between the counter and refrigerator. Yuck.

Not sure the place had been cleaned for a few weeks. The carpet hadn’t been vacuumed at all…dirt and debris all over it. There was blood on the walls. Dirt was everywhere, including the walls. It was obvious that the owners either don’t care or are completely oblivious to how this place is being run. So gross!

Run! Don't book this hotel. This was the worst hotel experience I've ever had. It was also the was disgusting hotel I've ever seen. I was skeptical when we arrived. There were questionable half dressed guests standing around the property. After unloading the car I noticed the room smelled of strong urine. I found it was coming from the couch which was worn and visibly dirty. There was dried urine on the floor around the front of the couch. I immediately called the office and they came to the room to investigate. They gave us another room. Upon entering the 2nd room I was even more disgusted. The AC wasn't working. It was 80 degrees inside. The room smelled like marijuana. There was vomit dripping down the wall next to the bed. I immediately took my bags to the car and went to the office. I told the offoce staff about the 2nd room and told them it was unacceptable and we could not stay in the room.

There was mold around the air vents. The room was dirty. One trash can. 2 towels when there were 3 of us. A German roach by my daughter's bed. A bug of some kind on are bed. A dirty hand rag in the restroom floor. In the office were breakfast was served, there were baby spiders or baby roaches on the counter were yhe coffee was...just plai nasty & disgusting. I will never stay there again.

Loved the loft style.

Rooms were spacious, good AC and refrigerator!! Kitchen did not have silverware and cookware for usage

I wanted to like this place. The guys up front when I checked in were hard to understand, but very nice. They upgraded us automatically, free of charge - so that was really nice. This place is a good concept but very little is done for regular maintenance. There is absolutely nothing in the kitchen. Nothing. I know I’ve read that on other reviews so I tried to be prepared, but I forgot potholders, and soap and a sponge to clean the dishes. The glass inside the oven was shattered. Everything felt sticky so I bought cleaner and disinfectant and started wiping stuff down. You could see dirty fingerprints and smudges on the light switches. Our couch in the living area had a hole in it. The A/C couldn’t keep up. The loft we were upgraded to was really stuffy and hard to cool off. The A/C never shut off while we were there. The last night there was a party with loud music and a heavy smell of marijuana. More and more people showed up and people were carrying around bottles of whiskey. A large fight broke out shortly after midnight between 20+ people. Bottles being thrown people fighting on the stairs and in the lawn. I’ve never seen anything like this place. You get what you pay for but this place still overcharged IMO. Also, there is a $100 hold on your card for a security deposit instead of the $25 most hotels charge. The money obviously doesn’t go into repairs or upkeep. The amount of dust on the ceiling fan that didn’t work was insane. My bed was the only nice thing, very comfy

I never knew there was a hotel with actual bedrooms with doors. Hawthorne extended stay is around the same price as other hotels but the room is huge. We rented the two bedroom loft and loved it! It has a full bedroom with full bathroom downstairs and a loft bedroom upstairs with a bathroom/shower stall and upstairs has a HUGE vanity mirror and sink area. It’s absolutely perfect! The front desk staff are absolutely amazing and go above and beyond to make sure each guest enjoys their stay. I can’t find a single negative remark about Hawthorne. Will definitely be back!

Would not recommend staying here. Rooms are old and in very bad shape. Many of the rooms have been turned into longer term rentals, so people working on cars in parking lot and hanging out in common areas all day long. Just about everything in our room was either broke or just worn out..Tiles broken, beds so worn you would roll to the middle in the night, chips in sinks and showers, the list for this could go on and on. Our AC was not working the first day, but they got it fixed and then it went out our last night and nobody was around to fix it so we couldn't hardly sleep since it was so hot in our room. Don't believe the good reviews you see, these must be put out by the hotel staff...they sure fooled me. We would have liked to switch hotels but there was huge basketball tournament in town and everything was full.

Wow! Totally not what i expected. The carpet was threadbare and the tackstrips were sticking up. The shower had some weird brown stains in the bottom. The patio door was cracked. The room door was hard to get latched. Closet door were off the track. All the furniture was stained and torn. Extremely disappointing.

Well, the front desk clerk was outside smoking and joint when we drove up. And then when we went to check in, there was a issue with our booking, which was figured out, but while we were waiting for the manager to call back the front desk guy went back outside to finish smoking his joint. Then when we finally got into our room, there was blood spots on the curtains and our tub was moldy and rusted. The room smelled like smoke and old musky dust. It was the worst experience I’ve ever had!

The front desk staff was absolutely rude as hell I will never go to this hotel again. It smelled like ass and feet in the hotel lobby.

The hotel staff was nice. Its in a convenient area. I had to find a last minute hotel in that area and because of events going on prices were outrageous and this was more suitable money wise.

The room and linens were clean. Staff "ungraded" me to a double queen because i had pets, then wanted to charge me a 250 deposit instead of a 150 deposit because it was a bigger room. Extended a "girls' weekend" stay in town unexpectedly with my preteen daughter, chose property based on nearness to activities, attractive rate and what appeared to be comfortable/amenable accommodations in online photos... the man at check-in was very kind and efficient, but we literally cried walking in the door - room was VERY smelly/musty, visibly neglected in repairs/updates, no working A/C, debris under the bed, cigarette ash on counters. Non-refundable and couldn't afford to go elsewhere, so we made the best of it. Visible surfaces, appliances and bedding appeared clean, bed was fairly comfortable, but hole in closet door hanging off the track did not make us feel safe. Property appears very dated, neglected adjacent to many neighboring more modern, tidy hotels. Was terribly embarrassed to bring my daughter here... will definitely NOT return nor recommend:(

Great family time vacation to Wichita close to a walmart trillions an Qt. Needs bigger tv in the room is only complaint.

The room was pretty disgusting. Paint chipped out of walls. Gross frayed and holes in carpet. Mold on ceiling in bathroom. It was pretty bad. We stayed there a few years back and it was not as bad. Will not ever stay there again. Unsafe and very run down. Whole chicken bone just lying there in between the buildings on the sidewalk. Trash everywhere. Sketchy people all over. Could not sleep because it sounded like elephants above us all night.

As we pulled up to property it looked ok in the front, got back to our room and went totally downhill. Numerous questionable looking people hanging out in parking lot, dropping off what looked to be ladies of the night. Appeared to be other questionable activity going on as well the police department would be interested in. So we did not stay. Went back to turn in key and request refund and the gentleman working the counter said his general manager would have to authorize that refund. This was on 8-5-23 as of 8-11-23, no refund issued. Doubt ill ever see that. Sure it was funneled overseas somewhere. Property is extremely dirty past front roadside with trash and debris. (Do not let the front full you in thinking its not that bad) just dont stay here. Horrible property. I seriously doubt Wyndham properties ever site surveys because this place is Horrible. Save yourself the time and bypass this property all together.

A clean and comfortable stay. Breakfast was on the meager side, but everything else was excellent.

This property is atrocious. Very dirty vent covers, wall patches that don’t match wall pattern or paint color. Bathroom door patched as looks like whole door skin rotted. Missing front cover on refrigerator, when entrance door is closed can see outside between door and frame. $150 deposit that is credited back 5-7 business days later. Breakfast starts at 7:30, much too late for softball parents needing to be at tournament at 7:00. Run far away from this smelly, poorly maintained, poorly run business.

Room smelled of sewer. Got all my things in for a a 2 night stay freezing out on 2nd floor. Lay down on bed. Bugs I killed one Gathered all my things took bug to front desk and told them of smell. No refund no refund moved me to different room upstairs smell better no bugs. TVs didn’t work ran out hot water in tub kitchen faucet turn it on water everywhere. Carpet drapes everything out dated and in need of repair. Up stairs toilet didn’t flush one tiny trash can in bathroom went to get free breakfast in am guy jumped out of car ran toward us has a visible poster gun pulled up a picture of a girl. From Facebook wanted to know if we had seen her no, I said he said he’s a fugitive from the law and she’s your neighbor. What do you want me to do? Oh nothing I’m going to get her. We continued on for breakfast. That was hard biscuits that you could not even Tear A Part cold eggs ect. Went back to room and wanting to check out however already paid for tonight and the security deposit so I have to stay. But we left for the day just out of fear came back, said afternoon to maintenance, banging outside her room fixing something my granddaughter had a friend over and the front desk accuse me of having a party.had to get the keys re-done several times because it wouldn’t work I go to check out at10:45 I did not get my security deposit back because they accuse me of smoking in room ashes on floor I carried my ashtray in room not to throw buts on ground nightmare
