Check in and out was no problem at all; the room was adequate; bathroom had a bidet! Loved that! Very roomy bathroom; bed and pillows were very comfortable; swimming pool was clean, had a spa area in the pool; breakfast was good and plentiful. The staff made me and my sister feel at home. The location is PERFECT for visiting downtown Bardstown and My Old Ky Home. I’m not big on motel stays but this was an excellent choice and I highly recommend it. The only issue is that the bathtub was a little slippery so be aware of that. Otherwise excellent 2 night stay!

Perfect weekend getaway. Super sweet staff members, comfortable beds, pretty property to look at, and the pool was amazing. Breakfast was just ok but that's pretty normal with hotel breakfast. At least they offer something because a lot of hotels are starting not to anymore. I would definitely stay again if in the area.

Check in was friendly and a breeze. Motel style property well maintained and up to date. After a week of road-tripping, laundry on site was clean, functioning and appreciated. Ice machine worked. Room was more spacious than expected, AC cooled as it should, bedding was appropriately soft, plush and comfortable. 4 pillows on each bed so much better than other properties we’ve stayed. Appreciated the shampoo/conditioner/body wash dispensers in the shower were replenished and reduced single use plastic waste. Complimentary breakfast had decent variety of offerings. Could be improved with eco-friendly plates/cups/silver instead of the disposable paper plates and plastic-wrapped plastic cutlery. Area is safe and quiet, short walk into downtown Bardstown. Cecelia’s restaurant nearby was a hidden gem. Pass on the Stephen Foster buffet: the locals side-eye you and the food is greasy and of questionable freshness.

The hotel itself was great/clean as far as rooms. The parking lot in front is tight for large vehicles if there are many cars. Someone had a large Uhaul-type truck parked sideways in the front parking lot. It made trying to park with a regular pickup truck a challenge. The staff was great. Breakfast was ok. Sausage gravy but no sausage, a better selection with yogurt, and more cereals are needed. Proximity is great, with some amazing restaurants and distilleries within a few minutes' drive.

Location is great, very close and a short walk to downtown Bardstown. The hotel itself was fine but our room had a serious musty dirty odor to it and we had no hot water. We asked the front desk about it but never got a follow up and it was never fixed.

I chose the motel so that we could walk into town, and the location was fine for that purpose, especially since we had one night stay. However the white shower curtain had 2 inches of red bacteria stain at the bottom edge, indicating it had not been washed or sanitized in some time. The bathroom seemed clean but the shower curtain had been hooked over the hand bar, indicating the housekeeper had seen the red and ignored it. That night there was a loud party outside our room and in an adjacent room that went on until after midnight. Finally, the coffee was gone when we went to get some before they closed breakfast at 9am (on a Sunday!).

The rooms were nice and clean. It was comfortable. The bathrooms were a little small but clean and there eas a bidet as well which i usually don't see in hotels. The parking is a little cramped but managed. The hotel is close to downtown so you can go explore close and it was nice. The staff were very nice and accommodating.

The people in the room beside us carried on until after 3 in the morning. Laughing, talking, slamming doors. Got almost no sleep. Was a terrible experience. Only a few rooms were rented, so why not leave a room between people?

I was first worried because, though the name has "hotel" in it, it's clearly a motel - and I typically do not like motels. But this one was the exception. SUPER-clean and quiet; GREAT staff and breakfast. My ONLY "complaint" was that our mattress wasn't great. Other than that, we were very happy and would stay again.

We get what Best Weatern tried to do. Turn a very old hotel into a modern one and for us it just didn’t work. It seems very outdated still and the rooms are very small. We had a baby so we brought a pack and play and it could barely fit in the room. There is a spacious room near the bathroom but we just don’t know what it could be used for. Cheap option, but I’d rather stay in Bardstown at the Fairfield for more money. It was not bad, just wasn’t for us. On the plus side, it was the best breakfast we had on our Bourbon Trail trip. The cooks cared enough to make us fresh biscuits, eggs, and sausage. Definitely a positive

Older property but neat, clean and obviously they have made efforts to make updates. The recliners in the rooms are a definite plus. Breakfast is in a seperate building but well done ( as far as free hotel breakfasts go). We would stay there again.

Sonya was so welcoming and made sure we were comfortable. Recommended a restaurant within walking distance and the owner was helpful too. The lady in the breakfast room was very friendly and made sure we ate all we could hold. Nice people and nice property.

the pictures that are attached is not what the hotel looks like.it is more a motel then a hotel. we were also double charged for our room and i called and they just said no we only charged you once. very big hassle.

This little motel was convenient, clean and comfortable as well as affordable. It looks like the rooms have been updated with a nice TV, flooring and a beautiful recliner. The only disappointment was that breakfast on the weekend ended at 9 am! I give it a solid 3 stars! for its class. I would definitely recommend and return myself.
