Property definitely needs lot of maintenance, huge holes in walls, dirty smelly access stairways, missing light bulbs in room lamps, noisy squeaking mattress, room doors missing knobs and or not painted, none of pictures in the website are closer to reality.

Property faces interstate highway heavy traffic noise all night. There was no elevator, had to take luggage up two floors. There is no room service, if you want clean towels have to take dirty towels to laundry yourself then you can take clean towels. Service is limited. Price was good but did not compare to other Red Roof hotels.

It is run down…reaks of smoke!!! Nothing like picture!!! Has no microwave in rooms…there is only one in lobby…..ac unit was hit and miss on running !!!! Carpet is coming up in hallways!! Needs a total rehaul!!!! Appears that he has ppl living there who are supposively cleaning the rooms..ours had leaves in the floor when we walked in and a layer of dust on the mirror!!!

Room was very very smoke smell yuk. Door to outside not locked, stairwell smelled like wet Dogs. Bugs on ceiling. Soap was bad, bed spread dirty, hole in wall behind the entrance door. Air conditioner dirty. Will spend extra 25$ across the street.

This hotel needs to be condemned by the Health Department. There were only 2 items that would pass inspection: a hair dryer that actually worked, and a 24-26" TV that worked but there was no printed program to tell you what channel to search for. The floor was nasty - had not been vacuumed or mopped for who knows how long. The bed sheets were old, stained, and so thin you could see thru them. It took an act of congress to get clean towels the they didn't know what a washcloth was! There was no clock in the room so you had to get up, turn on a light and find your phone or watch to tell the time. There was an ironing board but NO iron. Duh! The final straw was when a cockroach was crawling up the bathroom door facing. The stairwell smelled like a dog kennel and hadn't been vacuumed in months maybe years. The picture to the left of this post is misleading. The shrubbery on the front was practically dead and there was no mulch - just a little dirt that looked like dogs had made beds in it for who knows how long.

We were there about an hour eating our sandwich when I looked over and found black spot on bed. My sister found a live bug so we grabbed our bags and got out other. The front desk said I would not get that days refund because we were in the room. I will be contacting the corporate this week.

The rooms were dirty, with stained spreads (w/cigarette holes), pillows were pancakes. Our group had 2 rooms, supposedly the same, but only 1 had a coffee pot, microwave & trashcans. Curtains had holes, and carpets were buckled & stained. The clerk was rude when asked for additional towels. Room AC wasn't functional. We'll never stay at another Red Roof Inn. Ever!

Dirtiest accommodations we have ever been in. They did refund our money because of mouse droppings and stains on the bed; Dirty sock out the window; bathroom dirty with curtain rod hanging off wall and toilet paper roll off the wall.

You want pictures? Hair not mine on sheets, stains on bedspread and sheets stains, old nasty pillows, missing electrical covers, brown stuff dripping down wall, dirty tub, nasty stuff on bathroom door.....manager knocking on my door to say problem with reservation...called to make sure it was staff. I should have changed hotels, but I'm tired and drove 12 hours!

I've never written a review before for a hotel but this hotel was disgusting. From the lobby to the hallway to the room! The whole hotel smelled of smoke including our non smoking room! Walls were covered in cobwebs, floors were dirty with tons of dirt around the perimeter of the room. Beds were poorly made and pillows shoved in a ball into their cases. Bathroom was gross with mold on the ceiling and a hole in the wall. The carpet in the hallway was very dirty and loose creating a lump down the center of the hall.

Everything in the hotel is absolutely filthy. The hallways look like they haven’t been swept in weeks. floor in our room was dirty had to keep wiping our feet off so we would not get dirt in the bed . There were stains on the bedspread. I would never ever stay here again we have stayed Red roof before I’ve never seen anything like this in my life. I should’ve read the reviews for the warnings and you think that people would clean this place up since they have such bad reviews. Horrible horrible place to stay wish I could’ve switched it, but I don’t know how, I cannot believe hotels.com list this place with all the bad reviews.

There are decent, even good, Red Roof Inns. Then there is this one. The key card didn't work unless you yanked the door just right - but the sullen teen in the ripped jeans at the desk didn't tell me that until I lugged all my stuff up the stairs - there's no elevator. When I went back down she mentioned it. She only activated the key for one night even though I was booked for three, and so I had to repeat the back-to-the-desk trip another night. The shower grout was black, there were little flying bugs everywhere, and the single-pane window let in all the racket from the interstate, which was about 100 feet away. There are better places to spend part of your life. Find them.

First room the bed was broke & I fell to the floor, it tipped right off of its base!! We moved to a second room & it was not cleaned with unmade bed, third room when using the sink, water leaked steadily all over the floor, dresser drawer was broken, brown stains all over bed covers & sheets, finally old food discovered under the bed skirt when sheets pulled from the bed. If it was not so late & so exhausted after a long day driving to visit the Ark Encounter and if I could have figured out how to be reimbursed by expedia we would have left. The pictures that are posted of RedRoof are NOT AT ALL what the property is. The condition is more like a crack hotel & Stinks throughout the hallways of stale cigarette smoke. I wouldn’t suggest booking this property- ever! Felt very uncomfortable and left very early the very next morning

Plenty of eating options and the staff was friendly. The floorboards were loose, paint was peeling on the door, the window screen was torn, stains on the sheets and bedspread and there were numerous ants in the room (we borrowed spray from the staff then bought some ant spray ourselves from Dollar General).

We did not stay at dry ridge. The day we arrived there was no at the desk. We waited for a while then called. No answer. We had to travel further to fine a hotel. Whst we saw was not appealing. The hotel that we stayed in at walton was clean, and looked like a nicer area.

The room was filthy. We did not stay. The sheets were dirty and the bathroom had hair, dirt & toilet paper. The lady that checked us in was nice about our complaints. The manager refunded our money without an hassle.

We were close to Ark Encounter The facility was run down. The door going to 2nd level stairs had no hardware, carpeted stairs had dirt and trash leading to the hallway that was not vacuumed. Room air conditioner was not cooling — filter uncleaned and room smelled like smoke!! Do not recommend staying here!!

We arrived after dark and needed to sleep befofe we continued traveling. There were several people loitering and smoking near the entrance and some older/run down vehicles when we arrived. Everything smelled like smoke, was outdated, beds were not comfortable, things seemed... not quite clean (there were also ants). In the morning there were some kids that were sweeping cigarette butts outside. This did not feel like a particularly safe place to stay on a family vacation. We couldnt get out fast enough! We visited a nearby attraction, this reservation was in the mid-price range. I guess i didnt realize red roof inn wasnt a decent place to stay. Worst booking ever. Never again red roof inn. Never again.

It was conveniently located and the management was friendly. It needs a thorough cleaning and general maintenance- dirty fridge, dirty trim in the bathroom, broken hooks on the bathroom door, lots of paint touch up needed.

The rooms could have simply been scrubbed snd cleaned! The hallways had an odor. . Getting my pet in free was the best! I appreciated that. The bed was clean. They had a coffee bar in the lobby. The microwave was very dirty. I brought it to their attention. Then it was cleaned. The workers stood around the entrance desk talking. Not very professional.
