The hotel had a lot of construction being done and the pool was not open. We booked there because we have 2 little ones and we wanted a pool for them. There was no mention of the closed pool we we reserved.

The area of the hotel was very quiet and close to a lot of restaurants. My only problem was there was never any staff at the front desk to assist you and also the pool was closed due to maintenance, which would have been nice to know before we checked in.

This place was very nice for a mid-range highway hotel. Clean, sizable indoor pool, well-equipped fitness room. Breakfast food was nothing to get excited about but had hot eggs, potatoes and sausage as well as the ubiquitous waffle. The rooms were clean, the linens were good quality, the toiletries were a step above. Disturbed a few times by dogs barking but it was brief.

We stayed for ten nights. The hotel was clean and comfortable. Staff was amazing. The hot breakfast was good. My only complaints are the renovations were super loud and the pool was closed for those renovations. We didn’t know about the renovations until we arrived. All and all it was a good experience and we’ll stay here again.

I was so disappointed in this stay. Would not recommend this hotel. The front desk girl was not pleasant at all. Not a good first impression. The only things that were clean in our room were the sheets and the towels. The floors were dirty. The bathroom had hair everywhere. Had to wipe the hair off the toilet to be able to use. The shower had hair on the walls and floor. The counter and sink had hair. Absolutely disgusting. We have stayed at Country Inn and Suites before and never had these issues. Don’t stay here!!

Unfortunately we are extremely disappointed. We think we are being taken advantage of - we informed the hotel well in advance and checked on regulations for bringing our pet. They did not properly note the record and failed to communicate about pet registration upon check in. Then they told us after check in (the next day) that we were being charged a $100 fee for failure to register a pet. The room is filthy, dirty and there has clearly been flooding. I would not normally leave a bad review but I do not want others scammed here. I did not complain about the room because sometimes pet friendly rooms are sub par. But since they are claiming not to have known about my pet, clearly this is a normal condition for a room. I advise people not to stay here.

The hotel was in a central location which was very convenient for us. The elevator was small and slow. The third floor hallway had a terrible smell. The room was very spacious! We found a pack of cigarettes under the bed, and hair in the tub.

The staff was as friendly and helpful as last time! Breakfast was delicious though it was exactly the same as last time we were there. The only dirty part of our room was under the beds. There was an alarm that went off at 2:15 am which disturbed the entire 3rd floor. The elevator digging is a bit too loud as well and when you're right across from the elevator its a bit hard to not be disturbed by it.

The downside was the couch in our room—it had a strong, unpleasant dog odor, as if it hadn’t been cleaned. In the morning, several guests (including us) found themselves locked out of their rooms, which was frustrating. Thankfully, the front desk staff handled the situation quickly and professionally.

The beds werre comfortable and the room was clean. The room was large enough to accomadate us without feeling cramped. The best thing was, there was no carpet in the room! I personally hate carpet and was delighted to find that there was none!!

The only reason that I did not give this hotel five stars is because the bed was absolutely terrible. No cushioning. I’m writing this review at 2:30 AM because I can’t sleep due to back pain from a hard, bed.

The hotel was nice, as were the rooms. However, the shower curtain in the bathroom was too short so water flooded the floor. The walls were pretty thin so you could hear your neighbors. And, the doors had gaps in them and were short (probably from the switch from carpet to linoleum flooring), so you could hear every sound from the hallway. There was a variety of breakfast foods which was nice.

Very nice property! Undergoing renovation, and the room we were in was not completely done. Just Cove Base needed to be installed yet. Also Furnishings were a bit sparse. There was only one chair at desk, with two queen beds. It would be nice to have at least one additional chair. Maybe that will happen when the renovations are completed. Otherwise, the room was very nice. Beds and pillows were extremely comfortable! Very nice bathroom. Breakfast was adequate. Overall a great stay, although we were only there for a quick overnight stop and didn't really use any of the amenities

We liked the bed, but the pillows are tiny. The room was mostly clean but there was crumbs and such on the shelf by the office chair. Our toilet seat was hanging on by one clip instead of two and it is a little outdated. The staff was extremely nice. I will say that if you are a light sleeper you will hear everyone shutting their room doors and talking in the hallways.

When we originally booked, we reserved a two queen suite with a pull out couch. Upon arrival we were given a king room with a couch. I asked for a roll away bed and was told they did not have any. My son attempted to make a bed on the floor with the cushions from the couch so I went downstairs to ask for an extra blanket. They did not have any blankets but I was given a sheet. It had been about an hour since I was down last so a new employee was working. I explained our situation and she was very confused and said, “ I have a roll away right here I will bring it right up for you. I am so sorry you had someone on the floor.” We were traveling with a group and the staff would not allow us to gather in an empty meeting room or the empty breakfast area nor would they ask the manager if we could pay to book the space because “they were off this weekend.” They were kind enough to offer us the outdoor common area while it was thirty degrees out. The pool was also out of order and we were not told until after check in. Overall, nothing was as advertised/offered and staff (with the exception of one) was incredibly unhelpful and uninterested in making anything right.

Everything was great except when i was checking in there wasnt anyone at the desk. Upon the entrance if the hotel employee, she was followed by what appeared to be her child and the phone was ringing. She answered the phone before she even looked at me and continued with someone on the phone whilst i was standing right in front of her. I thought that could have been handled better.

Got to the hotel right 1130pm. The front office lady says she'll be right back with me. She's on a personal call on her cell phone. Leaves for 30 minutes while I'm waiting. Then another guest, then another...30 minutes later appears again, says sorry about that. I had to fix a door for a guest... checks us in after midnight the check in took 1 minute, if that. The room was not great...the room was dingy and humid, the smell of cold wet basement lingered. I felt like I slept in a moldy cave...will never stay here again or this chain.

Everything was great… aside from the woman that was at the desk late at night. A person next to our room complained because apparently my kids needing the tv on to sleep in a strange place bothered them. She banged on my room at 430am to proceed to yell at me to turn it down or I would be asked to leave. When I told her it was not at all loud and my kids were trying to sleep she told me that she could hear it through the door so it was too loud and needed to be turned down immediately. It was at a volume of 10 out of 100! She was then rude the next night when I asked for towels as I passed the desk so that no one had to bring them up to us. She literally acted as if I asked her to do something strenuous or something! We will never use this hotel again soley because of her! If you have kids definitely don’t stay at this hotel!

Treated like I wasn't welcome at check-in. Totally ignored for about 3-5 minutes while the employee at the desk continued to work on something related to counting the cash drawer. Really hit me the wrong way. Everything else about the visit was fine. The rooms were large, clean, and serviced appropriately. The breakfast was just okay. Standard fare, nothing special one way or the other. Overall, I would stay here again and recommend it to my friends.

The staff was as friendly and helpful as last time! Breakfast was delicious though it was exactly the same as last time we were there. The only dirty part of our room was under the beds. There was an alarm that went off at 2:15 am which disturbed the entire 3rd floor. The elevator digging is a bit too loud as well and when you're right across from the elevator its a bit hard to not be disturbed by it.

i booked a room at the country inn in Elizabethtown KY and will not stay there again. it is the only hotel that i have to call 10 different people for a receipt for my work. and i went to the hotel a few times because the booking company told me to go there for a itemized receipt and the older lady at the desk was RUDE and nasty!! no help at all. all the other hotels i stay at has a receipt waiting at checkout or it gets emailed when i check out.

Staff were very friendly and trying hard to do the best they can. Apparently they were short staffed in housekeeping and we did not get our bed made or towels replaced after our first night. After second night bed was was made, but not very good. A kindergartner could have done better. Towels were left on the back of the toilet! Other than housekeeping our stay was fine and breakfast was good and beds were comfortable.

This was an excellent stay from start to finish. Although it was a short one it was a good one. The front desk staff was exceptionally friendly, the hotel was very clean and modern and the breakfast was plentiful and well staffed. We will absolutely stay here again if we find ourselves in the area.

All areas of hotel were in beautiful condition. The room was clean, attractive and comfortable. Draft was nice and location was perfect- right off hwy and had a nice selection of restaurants very close by. Would definitely stay here again!

We stayed for ten nights. The hotel was clean and comfortable. Staff was amazing. The hot breakfast was good. My only complaints are the renovations were super loud and the pool was closed for those renovations. We didn’t know about the renovations until we arrived. All and all it was a good experience and we’ll stay here again.

My husband and I stayed here for one night on a roadtrip passing through. Front desk service was very friendly and quick with getting us checked in. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast in the morning was very good, egg omelets, bacon, potatoes, toast, bagels, muffins, fruit, yogurt, water/juice machine, coffee bar and waffle station. There is also a “convenience station” by the front desk if you forgot anything. We were very pleased with our stay here and would definitely stay again in the future!

The room and bathroom was very clean. Check in and check out we’re seamless. Hot breakfast was cubed potatoes, bacon, and omelette egg patties. There was the usual fare of waffles, hot and cold cereal, yogurt, fruit, and juices. I love staying at the Country Inn and Suites chain.

I am not sure as the hotel was under a remodel if this stay was normal. The staff was not friendly and breakfast was subpar at the best & with a cockroach added to the menu, I dined out.

We stay at hotels about 3 out of 4 weekends all summer. This hotel was my favorite so far. It was very clean the room was exactly as expected and the water pressure of the shower was perfect! Everything worked as its supposed to ( ice, pool, laundry) The breakfast was great none of that fake stuff and i can't say enough about the friendliness of the breakfast staff. They were very welcoming and made me feel like i stopped at mamaws. One lady as she was cleaning asked so many people did you get enough to eat? I love that. I would definitely stay again.

Breakfast was until 930, the staff was too quick to lock up the refrigerators and take away remaining food. Even at 9:35 could not get milk for my coffee. Whisked off all the cooked food to dump I’m sure as I watched several guests walk in and walk out without anything to take with them. What a waste! Rooms were clean and the bath was nice. Beds were ok. I would stay here again because price was reasonable.
