Days Inn by Wyndham Leesville

I had to request to be moved from the first room because most of the electrical and lighting didn’t function. I assume a breaker was tripped. Both rooms needed a deep cleaning and were pretty disgusting. The pool water was clear, but the surface was covered in tree debris.

The room was okay but the stairs needs repairs ( rusty and always wet) Place was well lit which is a plus

The property needs to be updated.

I stayed at the Days Inn in Leesville, LA for two nights while visiting family on a business layover. Here’s the honest rundown: The Good: • The front desk staff is genuinely friendly and welcoming. • My room was huge with lots of space to spread out. • Comfortable bed and excellent blackout curtains made for restful sleep. • The property feels safe — well-lit at night with plenty of parking. • Exterior is clean and inviting. • Guest laundry is affordable and works great ($1.50 to wash, $2 to dry). •WiFi was reliable and fast. • Convenient location — a short drive to food, shopping, and services. The Not-So-Good: • Out of 66 rooms, only 9 were occupied — which made the moldy stench in my spacious room harder to ignore. • A main reason I booked was the photo of the jacuzzi tub. Yes, there was one — but no switch or button to activate it. Staff confirmed: no bubbles. • Bathroom needed a serious scrub. No shower curtain, and I skipped my wind-down bath due to the overall cleanliness. • Found beard hair and toothpaste from a previous guest in the sink. Despite alerting the front desk and housekeeping resetting the room (bed made, bath mat folded), the sink was untouched. Overall, friendly service and good bones, but the attention to cleanliness and accuracy of amenities left a lot to be desired. With a little more care, this could be a solid choice for travelers.

We reserved an accessible room. The room we got was a regular room upstairs. No hand rails in the bathroom as advertised. The pool was filthy looked like it hadn't been cleaned or taken care of at all. There was mold on the sides. It was not clean or sanitary to swim in. The toilet was leaking every time you flushed the floor had water all over it. Told front desk they never came to look at it or fix it.

Property was decent for a budget hotel but they need to fire the pool company and hire a professional the pool literally had green stuff all over the sides and in the bottom where it is either not being serviced correctly or lack of chemicals

Food was so so . Hotel needs major upgrades specially the lobby area followed by the rooms

The property was clean. The room was big & the bed was nice and firm. The front desk staff was friendly. I can't drink any caffeine, it would have been nice to have some instant decaf available. The website said there was a hot tub. The front desk staff said they have never had one. That should definitely be updated on the website. We were really looking forward to a hot tub during our stay.

I recently had to start walking with a walker/cane. When i checked in i was told there were no rooms on the ground because they were full. Made it to my room up 2 flights of stairs. Within 30 minutes, lost electricity in my room. Young man came and moved me to another room, still on 2nd floor on the complete opposite side of this 2 building hotel. So i had to walk there, and in the morning walk back to original side because my car was still parked there. Found out later, another person was also moved but they were placed on the bottom floor. So if they were full, had did they get a bottom floor? This place will be on a no stay for me and my team for future visits to this area.

Hotel is older, but it is a small town so most are. Check in was done on a paper form which seemed dated. Bed tag was dated as a mattress from 2007 and had stains on the side. Sheets on one bed had what appeared to be cigarette burn holes. Our tv looked to be partially melted on 1 corner. Pool gate was locked so no access. If your tired and just need a place for the night it’s ok but I wouldn’t stay for more than that.

Lobby reeked of cigerettes. Trouble finding reservation. Room was nasty. Door was warped and you coyld see daylight through it.peep hole in doir had ibside piece removed so outside could be looked thru into toom. Chair was covered in cigerette ashes and room stunk furniture all damaged, desk lamp was rusty, bed was hard as a rock. Worst part was laying on bed and seeing blood splatters on ceiling! We booked another hotel down the road and left inmediately.

My reservation was for 4 nights. I checked out after the first night. The mildew smell was overwhelming. The bathroom was dirty. I did not feel safe as a single woman staying here.

This was a last minute reservation. We were planning to stay in another hotel in the area but they all were sold out. So we stay at the Days Inn. Once we checked into the room it seemed OK not too bad, it appeared to be clean so we brought our stuff in, but as we stayed in the room, the more it smelled like a wet dog!! The room, smell like dog urine as well.The carpet felt really dirty to my bare feet, and once I got in the shower, my feet were really dirty from walking on the carpet.

The room smelled EXTREMELY musty, and after we fought a pair of men's underwear behind the bathroom door, I went to Walmart and purchased Lysol. I sprayed the entire room down. The lady at the desk was very nice and upset about the underwear. Also, even though check-out wasnt until 11 AM, housekeeping banged on our dor at 8 AM!

Hotel was great and very clean. Deco was dated but for the price it can't be beat. Staff were friendly and helpful also.

The TV in our room wouldn't work and there was no place to plug the telephone in to get a wake up call. Not happy.

One room I rented had no toilet paper. The other room had no towels and no telephone to call the front desk. Someone had the TV on extremely loud until 4am. Someone was smoking dope in the parking lot.

Bed wasnt comfortable

It was a comfortable and quiet stay.

Bed was hard. Pillow were hard. Everything else was nice.

Room was bit dirty. Phone did not work, some one broke the clip on the phone cord. Radio/Alarm clock was broken but night manager was able to find another one. Door needed to be slammed shut to close tightly.

Whole room was rusty, small beds, bathroom door wouldn't close, shower head low.

Our experience was very good. It was late, we were tired and the woman working was so pleasant and accomodating. We are senior citizens, we cannot climb stairs and she made sure we had a room on the 1st floor. The room was clean and comfortable! We will stay there again on our next trip.

After a very stressful day, the lady working the front desk was very welcoming and accommodating. The desk attendant on the morning was also very welcoming and accommodating. Overall, it was a great experience.

My room was clean. The staff was exceptionally friendly and accommodating. Although the guest laundry services were out of service at the time, the desk clerk offered to do my laundry in the housekeeping laundry room. Price is reasonable, although I wish they had weekly rate duscounts available for when Im working up this way.

I checked in. I had no toilet paper. The phone had no service to it and was completely sticky and gross. So regardless of the fact that I felt so unsafe in the hotel, I wasn't able to call for help if I needed. I have asthma and a newborn and the AC was clogged with dust. The door barely sealed at night so it was quite startling and scary. I third party booked through orbits so I contacted them when they contacted the property they were hung up on. I checked out after two nights because I figured I'd at least give him one more night and it was just so horrible. I asked for a refund because of the terrible conditions and was told I would get one. When orbits contacted them again they denied my refund. I'll be reporting them to the sanitarian

Road construction in front of the property is a drawback but other than that it’s affordable and safe.

I liked the services, but there was construction at the entry, which made a little difficult going and coming in the parking lot.

Ok location

complimentary breakfast was advertised but I was told by front desk the night before that it was not offered on Sunday and Mondays. Then Sunday morning after breakfast is normally served I was told that they did have breakfast.

No Wi-Fi no in room coffee and breakfast items would be put away before the time advertised. No coffee or juice as advertised and anything could get in the room as there was at least a half inch space between door and door jam then one day the room cleaners took towels and did not replace

thought there was going to be breakfast served. When I checked in (Sat. afternoon) the girl @ the counter told me breakfast was between 6:30 - 10:00am. Went down f/ Breakfast, informed no breakfast on Sunday.............

Staff was very friendly. The breakfast bar was clean and good. Rooms were clean.

We needed a ground floor room because of my wife’s physical condition and the staff made sure we had a ground floor room. I was very pleased with the staff. They had good breakfast also. We would stay here again. Thank you
