Entire hotel had a bad smell to it and it’s not new. When I was checking in I was told the reservation from Hotels.com was rejected and had to pay in full a different amount. There are a/c units lying down an entire hallway, I assume for updates. Not sure why you would just leave them out in the hallway though. 1 of the elevators is not working. The other elevator made some odd noises and shook when it got to my floor. It actually made me nervous to use. My room key did not work so I had to go back down and use the elevator again. Got a new key and it finally worked. Room was fine and fairly clean. There was greasy handprints on the headboard. Every Hotel in Leesville is overpriced by at least $100 and needs repairs. They can only charge what they do because of the local Army base. I would recommend staying in Alexandria and avoid hotels in Leesville.

The hallway on the 4th floor felt like a sauna. Our key fob didn’t work the entire stay we had to be inconvenienced by asking front desk to let us in each time. The night clerk tried to accommodate by allowing a late check out but the morning receptionist told us he didn’t have the authority and that it would cost us for a late checkout.

Check in seemed long. They needed all my info even though I used Hotels.com. I was given keys to a room that had not been cleaned at all. It looked like someone might have still be staying in it. I go back to the front desk and they switched my rooms. When I tried to use my room key this time it did not work. I was then informed that most of the rooms on the first floor, the key pads were not working. Had to be let into my room anytime

The lobby smelled bad. The room smelled horrible. The bed was hard with lumpy, worn-out pillows. The food that should have been hot was cold. When I said something about the smell, I was told they would let housekeeping know i was not happy. We were in town for a funeral and i got little to no sleep. I will never stay there again and i suggest no one else stay there either. This room cost $185.00 for one night.

Room had a moldy smell. The water was only warm would not not even steam up the mirror. Told the front desk but the girl didnt seem to care said she would tell maintenance. she did not even offer to move me to another room. the wall paper in the bathroom was peeling off and looks like mold under it. No elevator inspection posted anywhere and looks like someone damaged the emergency speakers in the elevator. I stayed here 8 months ago and it was way better. not sure what changed in that time. I was so very disappointed. there ar limited hotels and I am a hilton honors member but I will have to try the holiday inn next time.

Sustain: Beds and bedding were very comfortable. Breakfast was good and the front desk were helpful. Convenient to Leesville and Fort Johnson. Improve: I had to change out my duvet cover as it was dirty when I arrived. The Streetlights are very bright...try to get a room out of the direct path of the lights if you need a dark room when you sleep. The curtains did not block all of the light coming in.

I booked a Jacuzzi room and when i got to hotel to check in i was not moved to another room nor was i offered a discount. i was put in the jacuzzi room and was told i could not use the jacuzzi. The room also smelled bad. My remote did not work and all i was offered was batteries.

Staff was overall very friendly, but repeatedly lacked familiarity with the computer system to address basic questions. Tried to switch our room and charge us again for pet deposit. Eventually threatened to leave if they did so. They let us stay in the same, but it shouldn’t have come to that. Would select a different property if we returned to the area.
