The room that we stayed in had carpet coming up and damaged walls. Asked for 1 towel and 2 wash clothes because they did not service our room and got 2 hand towels and 1 wash cloth. Came in for the evening and the elevator was down and still down when we were leaving this morning.

After calling the hotel multiple times it took somebody 45 minutes to pick me up at the airport along with another gentleman. When I got my room key, I went up to the room and there was already somebody there. In the morning when I went to take a shower, no hot water. They were booked full and after a half an hour manage to find a room for me. after a 10 hour trip this did not help. I actually want a refund.

Twice we had to hire a uber to take us 6 blocks to airport and pay 30.00 fee as they had no driver for the courtisy van is a great idea for a few days ago and I will be able Wr will never stay at a Hampton Inn again

The staff was nice. The lady who was responsible for the breakfast area was very nice and kept the area clean and well stocked. What shocked us was the stained and dirty comforters on the beds, the black dirt or mold that blew out of the HVAC unit and covered the units louvers, the damaged lamp shades. The halls were lit with bright white LED bulbs - no shades. The cushions on the chairs in the breakfast room were torn and peeling, and finish was wearing off. The Outdoor Hampton Inn Sign was broken in half. Pool water was green. It was as if Ownership had no pride in this property. So very sad. I wish I could have gotten my money back. But I felt sorry for the people who worked there who probably needed a job. I called Hilton Customer Affairs and they were useless. Nobody cares about anything these days.

Elevator barely worked. Elevator button was taped in place. Hairs in our bathtub, not from us. Stained couch in the elevator hallway. Used Q Tip on the floor in the hallway, fell out of the trash and not noticed or addressed. People were super nice. No fault at all on the people. But some processes definitely need review.

This is the dirtiest hotel I have ever stayed at. In the bathroom hair was all over floor, the room floor has visible dirt, and the trash was not emptied. When I approached the clerk, he assured me it had been cleaned, I asked him to come look and no response. He would not give us our money back. Worst experience in my adult life.

Room was not clean. It was “wiped down” after last guest at best. Bed sheets felt dirty to the touch. Needed a place to sleep so I dealt with it. Ended up sleeping in a chair wearing my clothes. Couldn't get out of there fast enough. Older woman working the front desk was A though! So friendly and courteous.

Poor maintenance in room. Shower/tub has mold and stains in tub. Sink and tub drains were very slow. Almost no water pressure. Furniture cabinet for refrigerator had bad water damage. Bright spot- great mattress!

Much lower quality Hampton Inn. Now I wonder about other Hampton Inns. Does quality vary a lot? Employees were friendly but manager wouldn't grant us an extra 30 mins after check out time and response could have been better. Bedding was poor quality - pillows were small and poor quality. Not entirely worth the money- The bed made noises when one tossed and turned, and the heater was too loud. The breakfast was very nice. The best thing about this place is the location, right next to the airport. Also, the beds are not queen as advertised- they are FULL. Overall, the room looked dated- I gladly would have paid $79.99 and given it more stars. But $150(tax included? -no. You have to do better than that.

My first stay was very easy and convenient. I left to stay in Long Branch Texas and returned a day later to stay another night. They supposedly could not find my reservation until I showed them my confirmation number, then all of the sudden found it and gave me the wrong room. I reserved a double bed room and they gave me a king bed handicap room. I served the purpose but I felt they gave me whatever to satisfy my reservation.

The desk attendant at check-in was friendly and helpful. I’m sorry I didn’t catch her name but want to say she is an asset to Hampton Inn. She made us feel welcome and gave recommendations on things to see while we were in Shreveport.

Our check in experience was awful! There was no one available to check us in. There was literally no one on the property who could check us in. Then they charged us multiple times for the room and refused to refund us. The hotel was clean enough. The morning staff was very nice. Breakfast was good.

When I checked in the said I didn’t pay. After I showed them that I paid, then they said there wasn’t a room. Went back and forth for 30 minutes then she found me a room. Room was dirty, carpet was old and the closet door has a broken mirror door. Then the next day on the 4th they charged me 250 for the room. Now I have to go and fight to get the money back. It was a horrible stay and experience in the hotel. The flight was good.

As I checked in at the front desk they stressed how there is an absolute no smoking policy, and I thought excellent since I don’t smoke, but from the elevator to my room all I could smell was a very strong marijuana odor. after that I called the front desk and asked for a late checkout and they said be out by 11:30am. At 10:15 house keeping starts banging on the door and after telling them we have a late checkout they repeatedly came by every ten minutes. Then the front desk calls at 11am asking if we were staying another night and I explained that we were told to be out by 11:30am and they said “who told you that” as if I made it up. Overall, room was decent but the staff was very rude and unprofessional especially housekeeping, and the hotel reeked of weed, will not be returning again.

Was traveling home needed a quiet place to sleep after a long drive from GA, and we got what we wanted too with so much more comfortable bed but the sleeping side was not so comfortable for my son but he slept. Breakfast was amazing!!

Everyone was very friendly and the breakfast was good. The only negative was that an employee was fired down in the lobby and was yelling loudly and swearing. The front desk dealt with it swiftly and called the police.

All Hampton inns are not equal apparently. With that said, it is Shreveport, Louisiana. I guess you can’t have high expectations. I will say, the staff was very professional and friendly. Unfortunately that’s where it ends. We entered the room and had stains on our sheets, as if they simply weren’t washed. The hotel was at capacity , and there were no extra sheets, pillows, covers. So we went to buy our own sheets from a local Walmart. The breakfast area was a let down. At 7:15am, it was already ransacked through, and there was little left over, and of course, the hotel was out of everything. I’m not sure if It was a hiccup for being overfilled, or if this is a typical day at this location. Definitely not the place to stay while in Shreveport.
