Upon arrival, there were no exterior or parking lot lights lit up. It was extremely dark and a bit scary. Had I been alone, I would not have stopped to park. When checking in, attendant was really nice and well dressed. There was an overwhelming humid and musty feel in the lobby. It has been extremely hot lately so I didn’t really put much thought into that issue. Arriving to room, there was an over powering smell of cleaner, but thankfully it looks clean. Room is musty and very humid. Room smells of mildew though no visible signs of mildew that I could see, but I’m not digging to find it either. Mini fridge is missing bottom kick plate and doesn’t work well. Overall, 6/10.

The equipment in Gym was poor, as was the TV, no reception.some equipment could not be adjusted etc We also had issues with the TV in our room, the crew tried to fix it, but closed caption came on and off at will.

The power went out at night from 1130 to 230 ish. The staff did not come to the rooms to notify us. They put very small, almost toy like lanterns at the end of each hall and tiny flashlights on the landings in the dark stair wells. There was no generator. Fortunately, my room was still cool and I was able to muddle my way to my car to get my small flash light for the room and charge my phone in my car. Seems they need to have a back up generator or bigger portable lights for safety. I am a single female traveler and felt VERY unsafe during the outage.

Pros: service from the staff was exceptional! They greeted u everytime we entered and was friendly. Cons: property is older. Woke up to a roach in the bathroom, pool didn't look that great (so I didn't let the kids get in) and the fragrance gave me a headache.

Room felt worn; old furnishing. To use the remote for the TV you had to be within a foot of the TV. I had to get out of bed to change the channel. The channel selection was poor. Shower towel was torn. Lobby floors were really sticky.

Bathroom had mold, undersink wall had hole stuffed with some stuffing perhaps cotton. Repairs were shoddy and unattractive. Bathroom needed a redo. Room was nice. Breakfast good!

Safe location, quiet business park. Staff at check in were friendly & efficient; housekeeping & maintenance? Staff were very friendly in the morning, even helping me out to my car with lots of luggage and a protesting toddler. Room was mostly clean, but bathroom had some hair on the towels, floor, & tub. Room didn’t cool down to the set temperature, and was very humid - bathroom had evidence of water damage & mildew & mold. Furniture & carpets could use a deep shampoo - several stains very visible. Aging property; great staff; great location.

We were treated like stupid people we had a question about checking in. Our room didn’t get cleaned because the lady couldn’t speak English and we couldn’t communicate with her. The room was dingy and the windows filthy. We won’t be staying at a Holiday Inn Express in the future

This is an old property needing a major overhaul. Bathtub had mold and a big crack. Blackout shade was mildewed and had holes in it. Room was muggy despite running the AC. Splintered doors. Thin towels. TV wouldn’t connect. I won’t stay here again.

The front desk staff were friendly.. especially Tre. Very helpful when suggesting restaurants and things to do in the area. Our room view was a view of the pillars in front of the building so we could not see out the window.. other than that our stay was great

Very nice Holiday Inn Express. Very neat and clean. But me and other guests were shocked that a local Fox affiliate was not on their tv's, so we could not watch the Super Bowl. They had ABC, NBC, CBS, PBS, but no FOX...so no super bowl

This hotel staff is horrible. I selected to pay at the property when I arrived. However when I arrived at 7pm they had already given my room away because I had not paid and was not there before 6pm. Please beware. They left me and my kids without a room 4 hours away from home and wasn’t sorry about it at all. Didn’t offer any help. All they said was “sorry we are booked”. Horrible.

The front desk staff were EXCEPTIONAL their assistance and willingness to help out of towners is absolutely phenomenal. Our room wasnt quite ready when we arrived and the offered complimentary drinks while we waited and made great suggestions for dinner places in the area

The property was really nice; but the staff was superb! I stayed at this hotel twice while bringing my son to Centenary College for a college visit and orientation. Everyone there was kind; but I interacted with two people, Jaspen and the manager, Johnathon, who truly blessed my stay. They were both very helpful, kind, knowledgeable and they made me feel comfortable and safe while traveling alone. These men are definitely assets to the travel industry and to this hotel... Thank you both!

It was a short stay but we found the property to be convenient and clean and the staff was very friendly at both check in and the next morning when we left. The breakfast area was well stocked & fresh and the attendant was friendly & helpful. The room was comfortable and VERY clean. Housekeeping staff was on our floir when we were leaving and so very friendly. Seriously all around smiling people working here 🙂 That goes A LONG WAY! This location was perfect for our reason for coming to Shreveport. Will definitely consider staying here again when we come back.

Rooms are very nice, staff is great. Breakfast was good every day. Located close to everything going on in south Shreveport without being in the middle of things, easy access. Recommend to anyone looking for good place to stay.
