The kids loved the pool area. There were only 2 single use bathrooms in the lobby area and seemed a little outdated. Breakfast was fantastic. Loved the variety.

Overall my family enjoyed our stay except for the pool. The room was nice and clean and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast was a typical hotel breakfast, nothing fancy but tasted good. The only issue we encountered is that the pool was freezing. I booked this hotel because of the pool so my kids could swim, but the water was too cold. My older son lasted about 10 minutes and came out shivering but it was way too cold for my younger one. The front desk said that the heater was on, but that it didn't seem to be working. So although the room was nice and warm, the water was probably in the 50s (F). So if you're booking the hotel because of the pool, call first and see if the temperature is warm enough for swimming.

In the area for a soccer tournament; conveniently located about 10 minutes from where we played, great options for food within 10 minute drive or walking distance. Beds were comfortable, room clean, pet friendly and breakfast had decent options. Our only complaint was all the electric car chargers were not working which was one of the reasons for choosing the hotel.

Nightly charge for parking in adjacent outdoor hotel lot was unexpected/not disclosed on Hotels.com or at check-in. Plus, I've stayed at many, many Hampton Inn properties, and have never been charged for parking during my stays.

I have stayed at other Hampton Inn locations so I was expecting great service, sadly this was not our experience. Check in was simple and quick, but as soon as we made our way to our room our keys weren’t working. After multiple tries we finally got in and the room had an odd smell. I then went into our bathroom to check it out and only found one shower towel, for a total of four guests. I let it slide thinking they just forgot to put more. We than noticed it was a shared room, which we were not aware of upon entering the room. Later that night we went down to the pool, it was packed with people but the pool itself was clean. The towel rack was empty and so I went to the front desk asking for towels. I was met with a very rude woman who didn’t believe us when we said there were no towels at the pool. We insisted that we checked, so finally she grabbed us exactly four of the cheapest towels I’ve ever seen. Then after swimming I sent my friend to the desk to ask for room towels where there was only one in our room. She asked for our room number and rudely said she didn’t believe there was only one towel in there. My friend basically begged her for more towels so we could shower and finally gave exactly three towels to her. Making me think they are stingy about their towels. I have never received worse service at a hotel than I did that night. I wish I got that employees name, so I could file a complaint. If you are hoping for quality, don’t stay here. Not family friendly at all

This was a pretty typical Hampton, however construction at the entrance made it very difficult to enter and also led to confusion about paid parking. This Hampton has no free parking for guests and does have a lot of signage stating that, but after a long day of travel and the construction at the entrance led to us not seeing the signs. The gal at the front desk never mentioned “be sure to pay for parking”. I had a ticket and a fine the next morning when I checked out. :-(

Room was dirty stains on carpets curtains bed spread. There was a whole box of cookies open behind the dresser looks like they fell off the dresser and slide down the back wall. They didn't move the food stool and there was crumbs and debris under the their as well. The room next door was very noisy constantly hitting the wall had to go talk to the guy he said it wasn't him that it was coming from upstairs. We called the manager he said there was no one above us as told us it was ghost. The ceiling is concrete there is no way to hear from floor to floor just room to room. Hwe later found out he neighbor had a dog and it was probably the dog hitting the wall with his tail or something else. No one at front desk apologized or tried to look into our frustrations. When we checked out we were not asked how our stay was just wanted to know if we wanted a receipt. Over all stay was poor costumer service. Poor room cleanliness.

The floors in the hallways and elevator looked like they had not been vacuumed in weeks. Our shower curtain was all ripped and falling apart. Rust stains in spots in tub. Faucet in tub falling apart. Our towels had some holes in them. Very disappointed. This is our second stay here we come up every year for a friends xmas party. We will not be staying again. We paid 177.00 for one night and it was not worth it. Sorry, very disappointed.

The carpeting was filthy, especially the elevators. Rust stains on the bathroom walls from the grab bars. Soiled and missing tiles on the walls in common areas. Overall, the entire facility is in desperate need of an upgrade.

Rooms were clean. Staff was very nice and personable. Hotel was very busy and they were busting their butts. Pool was nice and there were actually pool towels and toys for kids which was nice touch. Lots of snacks and breakfast was good. Now the bad. The location and how to get in and out of the hotel is horrible and not safe. Hotel Ave is a nightmare. I don’t remember seeing anything about parking fee and there were about 10 QR codes to pay outside the hotel. Super tacky and shady. I don’t care if it’s $5 it’s a bad look. The beds and pillows were uncomfortable. My bed sloped to one side. The hot and cold controls on the shower were a nightmare. tVs need to be upgraded to Smart TVs.

The room was attractive and clean. The bed was quite comfortable. However the toilet didn’t flush well and always needed to be flushed more than once. The shower was dripping and there were rust stains. Most inconvenient, every time I tried to use my Dyson hairdryer, it shut off. I tried every different outlet with the same result. And the lotion bottle in the bathroom was empty on arrival

Loved my very spacious room and comfortable bed! This Inn has it all...mini-fridge, microwave and coffee maker in room, plus the free breakfast was amazing. It was so convenient to have a full breakfast first thing in the morning right downstairs from my room. And there was something for everyone with fresh brewed coffee and juices to accompany it. Will definitely visit again!

Super friendly staff. Guy working the front desk was extraordinarily helpful and nice. Shower got really hot and the pool was nice. Super close to Salem we were able to get a cheap uber there instead of trying to find parking. Only negative was that the tv was ancient.

The Host Camie , was so pleasant and accommodating. We needed an early check in to get dressed and freshen up before the baby shower we were attending. Camie made it happen and she was just so nice and pleasant. 😊 our room was great , clean and cheerful ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Highly recommend.

We contacted hotel 2 days prior to our arrival to let them know we would be after midnight and called a second time the afternoon of our arrival and they said it was noted on our reservation that it would be after midnight and do not give our room away. Upon our arrival we were told they did not have a room and sent us down the road to another hotel. So much for the notation confirmed twice on our reservation

The hotel was good, but very inconvenient to get into and out of due to heavy traffic and strange road configurations. But the close location to both Boston and Salem (our 2 area destinations) was convenient. Ultimately, the EV charger was the reason we chose the property.

Overall great stay - self check in available via the Hilton Honors app (which was incredibly convenient for us because we arrived late the first day), very clean hotel, daily breakfast was great, cleaning of the room every other day to not disturb guests, and a short drive to Salem (and cheaper as well!). We had an amazing time and would definitely come back!

We chose this one because breakfast was included and we’ve had that deal in many Hampton hotels over the years. However, we tried the breakfast one day and wouldn’t go back. The room where the buffet was was VERY hot—stifling to be in there. And the food was NOT good. Other than that the hotel was fine

The first night the fire alarm went off, half hour later we were cleared, not sure why. It was a very cold night but all was well. Breakfast was available, only one person could make waffles at a time, so we didn’t get any because we were crowded out and then breakfast was over promptly at 10 am. One morning omelettes with green peppers were served, I’m allergic and no other option so I didn’t get to eat. Coffee could have been better but it was ok. Breakfast offered other options; bagels, muffins, cereal, fruit, yogurt, several juices. Snacks, sodas, water, various items are available near front desks. Front desk and housekeeping staff were very friendly and lobby area has pleasant open atmosphere. I would stay here again and recommend.

They offer breakfast in the morning and it probably had the most options we have ever had at a "free hotel breakfast". There was plenty of parking and the staff was very polite. There are a few fast food options around the property as well. We would definitely stay again.
