Super 8 by Wyndham Sturbridge

My experience was a mixed bag. The first night, I couldn’t sleep because people were talking outside - or in the room next door - until 4:30 a.m. The next morning, I asked to change rooms, and the staff, especially Charles, went out of their way to help. They upgraded my room at no extra charge and even moved my belongings while I was away. I was finally able to get a good night’s sleep. The next day, I noticed some mold on the breakfast food. I notified the staff, and they handled it right away, throwing out the whole batch that could have been affected. Bottom line: they are trying, and the hospitality was far beyond what I would expect from a motel. The room quality was also better than expected. That said, it is still a motel, by a main road, with thin walls, people hanging out outside, and a breakfast quality that could be improved. I like to imagine that my second night was more the norm than my first.

Room was fine, clean. The guests upstairs were very inconsiderate and we heard everything they/their kids were doing. Very loud. The toilet paper holder in the bathroom literally pulled right out of the wall. Was not mounted. The shower did not turn on all of the way. Overall, it was a lot to pay for what we got.

This is an older hotel that has been under going renovations. Our room was spotless. Bed and linens were amazing. Very comfortable and clean. This was spring break weekend and had lots of rowdy clients, they put is around back and gave free room upgrade. Peaceful and quiet. Our tv remote didnt work. Called front desk, beought us new remote with in 3-5 min. Quick action. Great staff. Would stay sgsin and recommend to ithers

Staff was nice. I was not a fan of the kiosk check in, but that’s change, and I don’t care for change.
