The first thing you see when you pull up are all the doors need repainting and are all peeling. Building outside a little dingy. Pillows so cheap they were almost flat, towels like sand paper. They replaced carpet with vinyl flooring which if you have sore feet from walking around Sturbridge all day is like torture to walk on. I understand it’s easier to clean, but was not thought out as far as comfort goes. Staff was nice. Price was good, but I will pay more somewhere else in the future to get better upgrades. If looking for somewhere to crash for the night if on way to driving somewhere this place will do, but I’d say it’s definitely low end.

We reserved three rooms on the same reservation, but on arrival we had hard time getting access to all the rooms. One member arrived early but was not able to access the room under her name. One member was running late and we attempted to get the room key so speed up the process so we could get to the wedding we were attending, but the clerk would not provide the key despite we being the one who reserved the room, had the conformation number, and the credit card that paid for the rooms. It did not make us miss the wedding but we had to rush to get there just on time. The rooms were ok as expected but you get what you pay for. The hotel was very noisy starting at 5 am and there is a sports field behind the hotel and families park in the lot and screen and yell very early in the morning. The showers are in need of repair.

Property in ideal location room was clean and bed nice so ideal for overnight stay good value gor money but some updates required Ibelieve owners are new so some updati g to exterior and improve breakfast area will increase rating host was very pleasant and would be happy to stay again

Since my traveling companion was handicapped it was difficult for her to get to second floor and stairs were different heights which made it dangerous for me as well as I had to carry all luggage as we were on second floor. I have stayed there many times as had a pleasant stay. My blanket was not clean this time and sinks did not drain well. Continental breakfast was lacking and no one to monitor, no napkins and just cake or bagels. Staff was very nice but this wasn't my best stay there.

There is a musty smell in the lobby that doesn't have a restroom--pulling in to check in means we've traveled some and maybe have waited to make another bathroom stop and them you have to wait to get your key. Ice is only available until 10 pm. The railing in front of the right side of the first floor rooms makes you have to walk all the way aorund to get in. .

Been here a time or 2 before. Great service at check in. Some room for larger vehicles. Which is a huge plus. Room was comfy , shower had good pressure. Only thing that a person could knock off is cigarette burns on the edge of the tub, and a spot on the ceiling. I would stay again.

The property had roaches everywhere and garbage in the parking lot. The bathroom was dirty and stains on the sheets and furniture. The ice machine was in the main office and no vending machines.

Check in was a fiasco, even after I called to confirm my needs. It took three people 20 minutes each to figure out how to fix their mistake. Rooms were disgustingly dirty. Covers missing on outlets, cigarette burns on the bathtub, filthy shower, door was a mess with a big hole where the deadbolt should have been. Furniture had chunks missing, the freezer part of the mini fridge was dirty and full of stuck on frost. People were outside the doors drinking and partying all night. Person above me walked with heavy heels and never went to bed. Walls are super thin. You can clearly hear what others are saying.

I had stayed here a few times and thought was ok because of area and the first few seemed acceptable so kept coming back when in area however this last time I was given a room that had before never a problem this particular stay I woke up itching with welts all over my neck and arms hand. I had over 20 red marks when I woke Up and they were really itchy. I called the front desk immediately and the woman that runs it started yelling at me when I told her had been bit by something. I said “” I think you have bed bugs”” she started screaming that they don’t have them. It made me mad that she wasn’t listening to me or compassionate that I clearly got but on her property. She said to me that I was yelling at her”” I was frustrated and it’s was not a good feeling to have these on my skin it took week to go away and it was very uncomfortable. She said fine I will call an exterminator which I told here “” yea you should!!! I’m willing to bet they did not. They have bed bugs in 219 so I’m sure they are in the rest of the building. Beware

The room was dirty. It needed paint and the walls were showing the sheetrock beneath the plaster skim coat. The floor was dirty. The old electric baseboard heat was crushed in different areas and the thermostat to control temperature didn't work. 2 stars at best.

It was a safe and quiet stay. Our room was a bit dingy, the sheets had stains. Towels, pillows, and face clothes were worn. Found lots of hairs in the shower. But it was a place to sleep after a long day.

It is an older hotel but you can tell a lot of work is done to it. Everything was bright, clean and working. The bed was comfortable and the area was pretty quiet. You get what you pay for here. I did enjoy that the room I had, had a mini fridge, seeing I bring up my own soda and snack etc.

The rooms are definitely dated, but they're spacious and comfortable. We had a king size bed and a large sofa. Nice separate freezer, refrig, and microwave. All in all, quite satisfactory.

Could use better bedding, and Pillows.. Room was spacious and clean.. Shower head partially clogged and the water wouldnt stay switched to the shower head properly.. But for a quick simple and affordable stay, it was ok..

"Good Location, but Poor Sound Isolation" I recently stayed at this hotel and found it fair for the price. The location is convenient, with a gas station and grocery store nearby, making it easy to grab essentials. The room itself was very clean, which I appreciated. However, the biggest downside was the sound isolation. Unfortunately, we could hear people walking in the room above us throughout the night, which made it hard to get a good night\'s sleep. If you\'re a light sleeper, you might want to keep this in mind. Overall, a decent option if you\'re on a budget, but I hope the hotel improves its soundproofing!

You get what you\'d expect for the price. Room was relatively clean. Hotel is old, and updating is needed. Stains on ironing board; chips in wall plaster; huge "crater" in the center of the mattress. Hardly any guests and yet we were given a room on the second floor. Would have been nice not to have to lug everything upstairs. Staff unavailable at checkout-just a sign and basket for keys. After i booked through outside party site and attempted to call this hotel to confirm, they refused to help me. Got a very angry and unhelpful woman on the phone who then hung up on me. I had to call the parent company\'s customer service just to make sure our stay was confirmed as the hotel never sent a separate confirmation email.

They couldn’t find our reservation in their system. Found it eventually, but that was frustrating. The rooms have very thin walls (heard everything from other rooms) and beds are lumpy.

Arrived at 11:15. Rang the doorbell and called the phone number as directed. Finally the clerk let me in to check in. Only thing she said to me was,"Next time you want to stay here, arrive before 11." This was a long travel day. There wont be a "next time" for this motel.

We missed our flight and so reached hotel at middle of the night. We rang the bell and called reception. Lady opened the door and almost shouted saying you are not supposed to come after midnight and was very irritated through out the checkin process.

Our original air flight was canceled so we weren't able to get to the property until after midnight. They had rented our room to someone else and spent a half hour getting another room ready. We were hoping to sleep in but early in the morning there were people standing right outside our window smoking and talking. Also trucks making noise as they left for the day.

I did not like the attitude of desk clerk. Website said “pet friendly” and desk clerk said no cats only dogs allowed. Wanted me to pay $20 cash if she allowed out cat. I told her give me a refund because website doesnt specify no cats and if the cat can’t stay, we will not stay! then she said OK I use credit card this one time. She was not friendly and not hospitable and she charged me the 20 bucks. I think she was going to put it in her pocket. That’s why she wanted cash. It’s too bad because the rooms are nice, but the attitudes and the people suck

The staff was SO kind and helpful!! The have new owners who really went above and beyond to make sure My stay was great!!!! From extra amenities and free upgrades to VIP treatment!!!!

The stay was fine but the lady at the front desk was very rude. I called to confirm my reservation and she wouldn't. She said something about security risk? um okay? When I got to the front desk she was horrible to deal with. Very aggravated and just plain rude. I don't see myself returning.

Horrible front desk lady. Booked and paid on Expedia, and was told upon arrival I needed to pay $100 cash regardless. I refused and after some arguing was told only for tonight and next time, don’t book them. After that, I was scolded for closing the door apparently incorrectly.

This property was clean but very dated. Updates and good coat of paint would go a long way. The woman who checked me in was not very friendly which is not what you hope for after a long days journey. Claiming to offer breakfast is a bit of a stretch… they should not advertise as such.

The complimentary breakfast choices only included plain bagels, cinnamon raisin bagels, prepackaged pound cake, orange juice, apple juice, weak coffee, and cream cheese packets. It was provided in a small area of the office with 2 tables and no comfortable space for eating. The room, while spacious, was not clean. The bathroom (and plumbing fixtures for shower) was in need of a renovation. The towels were extremely small and not at all absorbent. I would recommend staying somewhere else.

Great staff, very polite. Room was clean and comfortable. We were able to walk to a couple restaurants. The continental breakfast was very minimal— coffee, juice, packaged food. No cereal. But overall very good stay.

Hotel is ok if you just looking for a place to sleep. Rooms were ok but on the pricey side. The Continental breakfast was just bagels, pound cake juice from a machine that was watered down.. Went outside the hotel to enjoy a real breakfast.

Very tired property much in need of a makeover. My bed and its headboard did not align because an extra side table had been added, almost as an afterthought. Also, nasty stains on the couch. Breakfast room full of construction materials and very limited and poor selection of items available for breakfast.
