Econo Lodge Sturbridge Route 20

Long time tenants chain smoke all day and night in the rooms. Had to sleep in car and cancel the booking. They knew about the condition of the room and didn’t care.

I have stayed at many motels lately and this stay was by far the cleanest with attentive staff. I have my 2 emotional support cats with me and I was skeptical due to cleanliness under bed, sofa, furniture etc. and of course noise but I have to say it was definitely a great comfy quiet stay. And the price is right on. I was going to stay for just 2 weeks and stay at another motel closer to my family but I am not going anywhere! This place is so worth the longer drive to family. I WILL remain here until my house is finished. GREAT PLACE!!!

Disgusting experience - the bathroom was filthy (there was poop on the toilet seat and running down the front of the bowl). The room smelled of pee. Forget about sleeping - this place got extremely noisy after midnight - people coming and going, loudly and both rooms on either side of ours might was well not have had walls between them. Got to experience the sounds of "intimacy" of several folks throughout the night. Despicable and disgusting - GROSS! We left after that first night, no refund given.

Dirty sheets. People were very nice and accommodating though.

The room looked almost just like the picture, however, there was no sofa to sit, and only one chair in the room. The manager did provide us with one more chair. They did not come into my room at all, because they didn't like my dogs even though they advertise as "pet" friendly, so I had to ask for clean towels each day, and they charged me $50 each day pet charge. Other than that, it was very nice.
