We had a lovely stay here. The staff were very friendly and welcoming giving us warm cookies, and bottled water on our arrival The swimming pool was really nice, with a lifeguard on duty. The room was really nice and spacious too, and all areas of the property very clean.. We used the complimentary shuttle which was great, the driver was friendly, telling us all the best places to go to eat, and all about the history of the area we visited. We would definitely recommend this hotel, a great place to stay.

Picked out this hotel especially for the EV chargers. The chargers are broken and nobody on staff is qualified to repair them. Sort of a disappointment that they have this amenity but don't take care of it. The bed was as hard as two bricks. Otherwise the hotel is nice, clean, well-decorated, conveniently located. The restaurant is acceptable but you wouldn't make a destination of it for a special meal.

Beautiful and comfortable hotel. Very nice pool. You can walk to the mall and some restaurants. Very good restaurantin the hotel. Love that to shuttle Took you everywhere. The only thing negative frost was trying to get the shuttle to answer you for your ride back. The number they gave us on the card nobody answered. So I always just called the hotels front desk and they were there within 5 minutes. I don't know why they give you a card with a number to call them and it's always busy. Otherwise everything was great. Would definitely stay again

Clean hotel, clean rooms, good price, looked to have a lot of amenities and conferences taking place while we were there. Busy hotel. The van/shuttle service to and back from downtown for our dinner was great. No Uber costs and we could enjoy our cocktails and not worry about driving. Will stay again if in the area.

We were on the 4th floor and the elevator was inoperable during our stay so we had to carry our luggage up and down four flights of stairs. We are Hilton honors gold members, and have never experienced this before I was shocked. Normally my stay is enjoyable, however due to the elevator being in out of service, it made it not enjoyable at all.

Older hotel that has a few updates. Nothing to write home about. Our AC went out the first night, but they got it running the next day. The bar area is loud on the weekend, especially if you’re on the second floor above it. Easy walk to some retail shopping stores and restaurants. Shuttle will take you to/from downtown Annapolis/Academy.

When entering the hotel, the hallway to our room was disgusting. It appeared to have poop or mud in the hallway. When we arrived in the room, it reeked of cigarette smoke. The pillows were TERRIBLE, they were like deflated tires. There was water damage on the ceiling and lots of noises in the hallway at night so we couldn't sleep. The bedding was very cheap as well. Additionally, the bathtub was rusted and dirty. It was a very disappointing stay.

Pillows are bad. Room was clean enough, but they aren't cleaning in the corners. There's dust and hair in the corners and the grout, if you look closely. Overall fine for a one night trip though. Midrange hotels in Annapolis are surprisingly bad and this one is at least above average. Would stay here again.

The lady at the check in count was really nice. there was hair in the shower and i found a toe nail clipping on the bed. silverware was not clean i just asked for plastic ware but restaurant staff was nice and friendly

This hotel is showing its age and does not exhibit the higher DoubleTree standards I am used to, especially for the rates charged. Our first room, 241, had a strong, terrible, rank smell. The front desk person was helpful and immediately switched us to a different room that smelled OK although the entire hallway had a peculiar odor. Oddly, despite the front part of the hotel having three floors with many rooms per floor, there is only a single, dinky six-person elevator. The back of the hotel has additional rooms and a tower, but the layout is odd. The fitness room is on the ground floor in the back. It was much too warm to tolerate using it. Our room with two queen beds had a very dinky bathroom. The AC unit is one of the loudest I have ever heard making sleep light and restless. The free wifi at best maxed out at 6.49 Mbps down and 1.52 up, according to speedtest.net. On the plus side… The staff were very nice. The pool looked nice, but has short hours of 10am-9pm so we couldn't use it. It ought to open at 7am for people who want to swim early to start their day.

I liked the outdoor pool. I booked via Expedia and thought I had booked a suite with 2 Queen beds, but it was just a room and not a suite. Our room smelled very musty and the air conditioning unit was very rumbly and loud. We could also hear the elevators running all night.

We stayed there for 7 days and loved it. The breakfast was so good (the bagel with bacon, cheddar cheese, and egg was delicious)! We loved the large TV in the room, the beds were very comfy, the room was spacious and we were so grateful that the staff wiped off the cars after it snowed. The fire roaring in the common room's fireplace added a festive and cozy atmosphere. But the biggest standout was the front desk staff. They were all incredibly friendly, kind, always smiling, and very efficient and accommodating. I usually don't leave reviews but this hotel came to feel like a second home and the front desk staff made me smile, so I had to leave a review. I highly recommend staying here.

Clean, friendly staff. Property in general is nice. But air conditioner was obnoxiously loud, tub extremely slippery with drain backup, no fan in bathroom, no end table on one side of bed, flat pillows, and ceiling damage under air conditioner. We have stayed at this property before, and it seems that the general maintenance is slipping.

Rooms were a little dated but clean and comfy. Staff was wonderful, all very friendly and helpful. We had a shower issue the day we were checking out, maintenance was at the room within minutes of calling, said it couldn’t be fixed right then (it was a pipe), but yes behaving a few minutes. 5 minutes later housekeeping came to the door with the key to the room a couple doors down so we could all shower before our trip home! Great service, restaurant was good, quiet at night.

Close to where we need to be & has shopping nearby if we forget anything. The staff has always been so nice and we feel welcome & treated well. We\'ve stayed at this property several times, but this was my first time in "the tower". Our room wasnt my favorite. It over looked the pool but that\'s right next to the highway & the windows were not soundproof..it was really loud. And we could also hear the neighboring rooms. Just noisier than the rooms that are closer to the lobby area. Next time I will ask ahead to check room location.

Front desk staff were not helpful or friendly. No hot water and no one cared. Rather disappointing for a 4 star hotel. I typically don’t like to leave negative reviews, I would rather just walk away from the experience but no hot water at 6am was worth mentioning. The front desk girl couldn't have cared less.

Room was nice. Staff acted as though they had rather be anywhere else but there. Had several issues with key card and they never said they were sorry. Key card would not operate tower door entrance after they told me to use this door. Went back to reception and they said the entrance sensor must not be working - no apology no reasonable explanation- nothing. Acted as if they did not want to be put out. 2nd night the key card would not open room door. Had to go to reception to rekey. Again no apology- the guy didn’t even look at me - just rekeyed and gave it back. Customer service is below Hilton standards. I will think twice about staying here again. PS the cookie was delicious.

My stay here was mostly very good. However, even though the restaurant was “open” for breakfast and lunch, there wasn’t always anyone there - at all - No customers no professional staff. I found that odd but mostly inconvenient. Dinner hour seemed to be pretty well staffed though.

Demolition noise in the next lot. Construction folks in the lobby cafe looking for free food and coffee. Breakfast was absolutely terrible even considering that it was NOT free. Limited menu due to convention. Staff were very nice. Was planning to stay in September. Canceled res and changed to a different hotel.

Beautiful hotel with nice amenities. Rooms were large and clean. The towels were generous and high quality . The hotel offered transport to local restaurants and attractions. We used the service in the evening and found the driver to be trustworthy and knowledgeable about the area. Breakfast buffet was very tasty.

The hotel and room were very nice, and the people at the front desk were helpful and friendly. I would stay here again if I go back to Annapolis. Skip the breakfast though. It’s a subpar continental breakfast that costs $15 per person.
