No one at check in waited 15 minutes. Under renovation no notice on site. Asked for towels and a pillow ignored. Sheets and cover dirty in spots. TV out for a day. Grab and grow breakfast was a granola bar and an apple. Staff was indifferent did not appear to care. No ice machine, etc.

Property was undergoing renovation in the public areas but the room was very nicely furnished, spacious and clean. In new corporate condo area, so it's quiet. Breakfast isn't much (coffee and packaged bar) but it'll get you going. I'd stay again.

This place was clean and rooms were average hotel rooms. Nice refrigerator with counter top and sink in room also. Staff had problems checking people in. Took me 15 mins and I had confirmation number through Hotel.com. Asked me about paying when I had already paid days before arrival. I had receipt and they finally figured it out. Under renovation and didn’t have any ice. Didn’t see the responsibility to provide any either. So we got ice from s CStore. Kind of ridiculous. Price was good compared to ones near it but the couple my friends had were a little better for 30-40 more bucks.

Our ground floor room smelled musty and moldy. There was a loud, electrical buzzing sound in the hall outside of our room, which was quite annoying. The halls were dimly lit and felt dingy. The carpet in our room was slightly damp. We didn’t have the chance to interact with staff, as we did not see any until we were leaving the next morning.

Didn’t like: Loud! Could hear people walking around the floor above, could hear people walking through the halls, could hear everything outside. Mildew smell in room, carpet stains, chips in furniture, very small bed, shield up at front counter made me question safety of neighborhood, it’s not “breakfast” as advertised, at approximately 10pm as I’m trying to sleep the front desk calls to ask “is everything ok with your room”. We had a “bathroom problem” in the beginning of the night hours, one called and we were exchanges to another room within an hour. I do understand that there was an available room for us at the time…but the fact that they had a diligence to solve a problem fast to accommodate us…very thankful!

When we went to check in they didn’t have our reservations. I had to fight to get a room and at the price that I had paid and not a same day reservation rate. We had to switch rooms after our first night because they only had a king room for the first night and we are a family of 5 they suggested that some one sleep in the chair and the rest of us sleep in the king bed

Upon arrival (5pm)and checking in, our room wasn’t ready. We left to have dinner and spend time with family. Returned at midnight to get keys from front desk and the next clerk didn’t see our reservation. She had to call the man that helped us prior which took about 10 minutes. Finally found the keys he had left for her and let us know what room we were in. At 5 am the fire alarm went off loudly with lights and notices while we were sleeping. Clean establishment but awful service.

Our 3rd stay, each time 3-4 days Always friendly & helpful staff! We were able to borrow kitchen essentials easily. Yes they are renovating to make it a really nice extended stay type hotel. Each time here it's been a quiet stay and they keep construction area neat as possible. Based upon how nice the bathroom has already been updated, I believe that they will update the kitchen and rest of room really nice as well.

The staff charged me twice for the stay and then basically insisted they could not refund one of the charges. They had all kinds of excuses, none of which made any sense. I can’t recommend this place at all because of that. I feel they have probably pulled this same scam on others.

Property is off the beaten path but still very convenient to the Naval Academy stadium. No frills, but has what you need and the price is better than those around USNA and downtown Annapolis. The "breakfast" consists of packaged danish rolls and coffee. We only stayed one night so didn't explore the facilities.

Sonny and Victoria and 1 other clerk at front desk where the nicest hotel people they did everything to make our stay a pleasure. The room was the cleanliness room we have stayed in (newly remodeled) in a long while. We will go back for sure. The bed was and pillow were comfy. The bathroom was very nice and so clean. The lines were clean. And if you bike there is 3 really nice close by trails. Book here and ENJOY your stay

It was the second time we stayed in Candlewood Suites Annapolis. The hotel is -very clean and the room were recently "re-done", which makes it very attractive to me -we did not hear any neighbours -it was close to where we need to be everyday -complementary coffee, hot chocolate and fruit was a saving grace every time we were on the "go" - it is conveniently located close to shopping and food places -the small kitchen came in very handy. Overall this was an excellent stay - again!!!! I will definitely be staying there the next time we visit Annapolis.

It's ok. If your staying one night and leaving it's fine. No ice vending machine, no coffee during the day or coffee in your room, no conditioner. You have to ask for your dishes at the front desk and then bring them to your room. The beds are okay, pretty worn though, but the room is clean. The breakfast is only granola bars, oatmeal, and coffee. It's basically the bare minimum.

Price was cheaper than other hotels available for this weekend. Hotel lobby was similar to a local prison reception area. Receptionist clearly wanted to be anywhere but there. The room smelled so strange. Can’t even describe what it was, but it wasn’t pleasant. The bed was surprisingly comfortable, but the metal frame squeezed so terribly that I didn’t want to move. “Breakfast”. Really? You call this breakfast? A small cabinet had coffee carafes. Hot water for tea was in a coffee carafe so it was disgusting. “Food”? Right. One plastic wrapped honey bun and a few granola bars. No thanks.

The walls were half painted in the bathroom (as in the paint stops randomly on different parts of the walls) and the sink was peeling in the bowl. It made it seem trashy and like I could have paid less. The front desk associate couldn’t find my reservation for about 15 minutes so that was aggravating, especially to those waiting in line behind me. They say they have breakfast but it’s just granola bars and coffee… Otherwise the place is clean and in a decent area.

Room was clean and reasonably comfortable. Bed was a bit bumpy. Bring your own toiletries as the shampoo & soap are pretty awful and no conditioner is provided. Towels are thin and they will not be refreshed during a 2 night stay. Breakfast? 😬 is disappointing at best. Coffee & hot water with packets of instant oatmeal, cheap granola bars and some packaged honey buns. I believe there might have been some hot cocoa packets. No regular cream for coffee, just flavored. Fortunately I had 1/2 & 1/2 in our room that I had bought to have in my iced coffee. For the price it almost met expectations. But I was expecting at least continental breakfast, not instant oatmeal packets to be made in paper coffee cups when I booked a hotel the advertised breakfast included. Indeed it was- but we went out for breakfast.

Overall it was fine. However, these are the things we noticed that could use improvement. The fridge was dirty, there were no utensils, plates, cups pots and pans in kitchen. The front of bathroom sink counter was falling off. There was a big tear in the carpet. There were no extra blankets or hair dryer. The "breakfast" consisted of coffee, honey buns, cereal bars and oatmeal packs only. No water, juice, fruit, bagels, etc. There was no ice machine or vending machine. Lots of signs that said pardon the mess, so I would hope they are beginning to rehab the whole place.
