* *;* * * Next time I am in the area. I plan on staying here again. In past years I stayed at the Hilton in Rockville. The Comfort Inn is a much more satisfying expirence. It has a business center, so I was able to print an important document. The gym equipment works well. When they say soundproof rooms, they mean it is a very relaxing experience. I am more satisfied with this 3-star hotel than I am with the 4-star Hilton in Rockville that I stayed at last time I was here. The 4-star hotel lacked a business center despite having advertised it. The gym was out of order for the entire 3 days at the Hilton. The rooms included less coffee and tea. The Comfort Inn is a more relaxing experience compared to the Hilton, which had noisy weddings going on. The breakfast was nice.

They have 2 elevators, one of which has not worked for my last 3 visits. The second one broke on this visit. No inoperative signs were in place except on the ground floor.

Rooms were clean and comfortable. I appreciated the Level 2 chargers even though they are older. They both worked once I figured out I had to download the Blink app. The desk staff knew nothing about the charges, though.

Roaches. Checked in, went to our room, opened the door… and saw roaches. Walked right back out and went downstairs to the desk. She tried to find us another room and offered a roll-away; but where there’s 1 roach, there’s 1,000s. We canceled and left, taking our chances at midnight. Yuck.

Saw a baby roach in bathroom immediately upon arrival. Decided to stay in room after speaking with main desk. Never saw another one but it was disconcerting and made me wonder where the roaches “brothers d sisters” were hiding.

Small and generally beautiful hotel. But our room was dirty! The floor looked like it hasn’t been shampooed for years, you could visibly see the dirt on the carpet. We had a 3 night stay but we only stayed one, my wife couldn’t stand it. If we could have not stayed at all we would have left but the first night was non refundable. The room wasn’t kept up either, things were broke like the drain in the tub. Room was dirty and general maintenance was lacking. This would have been a nice place if room upkeep and cleanliness, especially shampooing carpet was done.

Efficient check in and check out. Minimal complaint: water pressure was low and shower drain was slow. Also, got woken up by house keeping at 8am but they end up apologizing, they meant to knock on the room next door. Overall, it was a great experience.

Great trip 👌 Extended it 3 times. So i will have stayed 6 days. I arrived and the Wifi completely down. I told the front desk. Although they are not to blame. It fixed itself for the day. The next day the same thing happened. At times it would drop 1-3 Mbps. Went on the entire trip. Other hotels that come up on this app nearby you will find my reviews. I never mention the internet being an issue The Ramada by Wyndman (formly the Radisson) the The Sleep Inn and The Red Roof Inn have stable Wifi. I don't ever complain in my reviews. I have different complaint about C Inn in my next review. Can't fit it. My favorite Hotel in the area is the The Ramada by Wyndham. Just felt I enjoyed my stays there. The Comfort Inn and The Sleep Inn are owned by Choice Hotels. They have the same breakfast. The Sleep Inn is cheaper and has a pool and better gym (gym is next door in The Ramada). The Sleep Inn also has modern vending machines that can take modern forms of payment. The Comfort Inn has a gift shop that no one is in or is closed. The Sleep Inn is close to a mile away from the Comfort Inn. You can get on the highway easily from both. The Sleep Inn is much quieter. The Comfort Inn is overpriced for the noise and traffic. Pick The Sleep Inn despite the lower ratings. I have stayed in every Hotel in surrounding area for days or weeks at a time in 2018 and 2025. You will find many reviews from both years. I feel the Comfort Inn is just a name like the Holiday Inn. So you pay more.

The pros of the hotel was the room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the breakfast was good. However, the internet was terrible. between around 6pm and midnight, it basically didn't work. I tried calling and the girl at the front desk said she'd reset it, but it made no difference. Once in a while a webpage would load in a minute or two, but usually it just timed out. On the second night, I decided to watch the NBA playoff game since the internet did not work. When I went to the ESPN channel on the TV, all I got was a black screen. Frustrating. The other issue is the first morning, the water pressure in the shower was extremely low, making the showering process fairly time consuming. It's hard to give a hotel an outstanding rating with all these issues.

The property itself is in excellent condition, updated and clean. And I mean very clean! I always notice if the bathroom vent fan has dust or there’s dust on the light fixtures. There was none of that in our bathroom! The only issue we had was the water pressure for the shower. It was not great. Not sure if it is because we were on a higher floor.

Not sure if the hotel housekeeping staff is short-staffed or not, but we had one towel to share between us. No wash cloths, and no bath mat to put on the slick wet tile in the bathroom. I did go down to the front desk to ask for 2 more towels, but only received one. Also, if you wanted a cold shower you can have great pressure. If you want any hot water at all then the water trickled out. Other than that everything else was nice. The room was clean and the front desk people were nice.

We were on the 7th floor and middle of the night into the morning people were slamming doors like crazy. Also, we were there for work and we couldn’t because the wifi was so slow (5-7mbps) and would keep disconnecting. The condition was fair but the experience was not good.

Hotel was great. Manager was very rude. I have never been spoken to so abruptly and rudely by anyone in hospitality in my entire life. I encountered him during the day. Everyone including him referred to him as the Manager. Unfortunately, he needs urgent lessons on Customer Service ASAP!! The rest of the staff was great.

Staff was spectacular, especially the late night security guy. Very engaging and funny - especially on NYE when I am sure he would have rather been out at a party. Instead, he was kind, courteous and helpful when I asked where I should walk my dog.

Hands down the absolute best Comfort Inn I have ever stayed at. It begins with the most amazing customer service from Lilli at the front desk and continues with a fresh clean room, great amenities and a REAL plant in the bathroom. Very nice. Breakfast is continental but high quality and the staff and service top notch.

The check in clerk was helpful and kind especially since showed up close to 1130 pm. Housekeeping staff is great, but you do have to ask for later service if you will not be out of your room by 11am so if want to relax not best for that. We checked out today Monday at about 930 and the front desk person was not friendly, but he was not mean just very disinterested and not wanting to answer questions.

Came to comfort inn at 9:00pm and they only had one person working at front desk but she was busy handling a maintenance issue so had to wait more than 15 min to check in. Walked into room and smelled very musty as if rugs were wet. The bathroom floor was sticky, the AC is noisy and the Wifi is weak

This was probably the best stay at a Comfort Inn I have ever had. The staff was phenomenal. Our room was clean and, for probably the first time ever, there were enough towels in our room! We didn’t have to ask for towels several times and hope they actually came. I really can’t compliment the staff enough; that is definitely a group of people who understand the meaning of service. We were there for a basketball tournament so there were a lot of loud little girls running around. There were also soccer teams and baseball teams there. They also had their fair share of noise but the staff handled them with aplomb. I would definitely recommend this hotel!

In my previous review, I mentioned some problems with the Wi-Fi—it was pretty unreliable throughout my stay. There was also another incident during my back-to-back visits. It seems like housekeeping doesn't pay attention to the "Please do not disturb" sign on the door, or maybe it's just too small to notice. I got an unexpected visit at a really awkward moment. Apparently, they didn’t realize I was staying for multiple days. I guess I should've used the door's gold handle lock as well. Even though I’m bringing this up, I still tend to leave tips that are above average. It wasn't intentional, and honestly, when you’re a blue eyed masterpiece, it’s not a big deal. Someone reading this might have a different perspective, but I’m not holding it against them. My main issue remains the Wi-Fi. Will stay here again regardless. Still a great hotel.

1. The staff were great! 2. It was nearly hidden, by other buildings from the road and didn't have a road side sign. We missed it the first time and had to do several U turns to try again. 3. It is way overdue for an update and felt tired and a bit worn.

Clean, good location near Shady Grove Metro, shower handle is hard to move and some fool kept a yapping dog in their car and it never stopped all night, or it was in a room. Sheets were clean and soft, well kept building!

We stay in this hotel every time we visit family in MD and we love it!! There is ample parking, staff is very friendly and rooms generally clean. Breakfast is GREAT aside of not having a non-pork option. Please bring turkey sausage!!!

Room was fine, comfortable and clean. Breakfast was awful, with poor quality baked goods, artificial yogurt. If you are gluten-free and/or lactose intolerant and/or vegan, you are out of luck. And the place was overrun by noisy, discourteous teenagers from multiple trips. I realize that it is the summer and that cannot be helped, but at least warn us!!!
