Rooms are large and comfy. Have a large Long desk, kitchenette with full size fridge and freezer and microwave. Staff extremely nice. Location is close to U Mich and freeway and shopping. They even have items and games u can borrow. Many personal touches. Great free laundry room for guests. Very happy and will def stay again. Only complaint is showerheads are a bit weak. Small price to pay tho for great stay. And it’s obvious they love dogs!!!

Pricing is ok compared to other hotels in the area. The $10 parking fee is ridiculous, especially condiering the condition of the parking lot! Set up makes it a bit difficult to manage entering & exiting with luggage carts. No breakfast but we appreciate the ability to get a room with an actual closing door for the 1 bedroom suites. Kitchens is amply set up & usually has everything we need! We stay here often as the pros definitely out weigh any cons. Rooms are always clean & comfortable.

Location is good but the Sonesta Suites needs an urgent and full refurbishment both in the rooms and common areas. AC almost doesn’t work, Gym is dirty and equipment not working (need to stop the treadmill with the emergency button), almost no weights. Rooms need to be upgraded, mattress very old.

The parking lot entrance asphalt has large car sized hole and assorted craters. The owners have let this deteriorate to an unsafe and hazardous state for at least a year.

The property itself is a tad bit dated but the staff is great, the suites are spacious and well equipped. Plenty of cafes, restaurants, shops and whole foods at a walking distance. Free laundry and clean gym facilities were also a plus. The only thing we didn't like was that the property itself needed some work both on the outside and inside. Just a bit more attention to the little details like chipping paint, scratched walls in the hall ways etc.

Always clean, comfortable, quiet. Kitchenette & so many items to use/borrow if needed is great, as are free washer & dryers available 24/7. Sometimes a wait on desk clerk but always because they're busy with keeping the property up to good standards! Never seen them them sloughing off. Always busy and super friendly!

This is a quiet yet great location for easy access to town. The hotel allows for very comfortable long term stays and provides all the requirements for staying in and not needing to eat out. Free use of washer and dryer and a substantial fitness room are a great perk.

Hotel had funny smells in different places. Some of it was cleaning supplies used and some could have been pets. But it was not clean. Carpets in downstairs hallway were very dirty. Dishes in room all needed washed before use (some had visible bits of food on the outside but were put away in cabinets. Could use overall renovation. Shower water pressure was very low. Staff were helpful (gave us a higher floor room when room on first floor had funny smells).

Our bathroom had pubes. Everywhere. I took photos, but cannot add them on this review. There was a huge pile behind the bathroom door, all around the toilet, even on our shower walls. It was disgusting. I’m also pretty sure there was poop smeared all over the wall as well. Some foreign brown stain on the bathroom walls that I could only assume was poop. Staff was very friendly and helpful and the rest of the room seemed clean, but one could only assume.

Only stayed for one night but it was long enough to notice that this place is long overdue for a renovation. The furniture is all scuffed up and the couch makes a terrible noise when you sit down on it. The climate control is a joke. It's like having a turbine engine in the room.

The hotel is one that has been fixed up. Anything they did replace feels cheap. Our matress was a little to firm for me, each person has their own preference. Pillows were nice, not to fluffy that it hurts your neck to sleep on. Bathtub is really cheap. Ever step I took in it, it creaked, i thought "I better not fall through". Water was super hot (10/10), water pressure (2/10), and we were ground floor! We were placed in a room that was next to the elevator, and I was prepared to ask to be moved, but it was very quiet functioning. We were satisfied with our stay, we probably will not stay again, only because my husband insists on free breakfast, and this place doesn't have that.

I tired to cancel this reservations multiple times. I tried to cancel it on August14th on the Hotels.com App and it did not go thru. Then I called on the 15th and was told it would be handled. It wasn't cancelled on the 15th, I called on th21st, and again on the 22nd. Nobody would assist me. I will never use Hotels.com or Sonesta Simply again. The customer service by both Hotels.com and the management at Sonesta was terrible. I was charged for a hotel room that I never used.

Ice machine in room refrigerator is turned off and no other way to get ice. No need for an incidental charge. Doors do not lock after being shut, the entrance at the end of the building was open anytime I had to go outside. At check out the front desk attendant was not at the front desk, when I picked up the phone to call the attendant to be checked out, the attendant told me he was busy and needed a few minutes. Little did he know, my significant other was outside waiting for me and she seen him get out of his running vehicle, walk around the building and enter from a different entrance. Completely unprofessional! If it wasn’t close to Michigan Stadium, I would not recommend.

The clerk at the desk was very rude the evening of my arrival. My key card didn’t work and I had to make repeated trips to the desk from my room to try and get this resolved. I am handicapped so this was exhausting. The clerk was not empathetic in the least. She even told me to leave if I wasn’t happy. The next day my card again did not work. A different clerk helped me and was very kind. Turns out I had been issued a “one day” card instead of a three day card. Will I stay here again? Probably not.

The staff was extremely polite and helpful. Location is good in Ann Arbor. Near Briarwood mall and other shops and restaurants. Our room is very nice with the kitchen and even a big chair.

Conveniently located near 94 with easy access to downtown and 23. Close to Meijer, Target, Whole Foods as well as several restaurants. Place was clean and well maintained. Staff was friendly. Free laundry for guests is a nice perk. Light in room could be a little better, and would have appreciated some soup/large spoons, but overall had everything we needed.

Friendly person staffing the front desk. No breakfast offered, bring your own food to cook kitchen place. Small store had a few poor snack choices but the location has very good Doordash and Grubhub availability. Moe’s and Panera within 2 minutes walking distance. I felt pretty safe here in a Friday night. My Queen size bed frame was super squeaky for a small single person. FYI: This hotel does charge $5 daily parking fee.

Pros: Spacious suite, comfy bed, convenient parking by entrance near room, friendly desk staff, early check-in allowed, A/C worked well, located next to a strip mall with several restaurants. Cons: Hallways smelled awful, charge for early check-in (room is just sitting empty anyway,) coffee free but pretty bad, cereal cup for $4 but no milk. Verdict: Good value overall and will stay again (but will bring a travel Keurig and breakfast!)

For someone who stays in hotels often, this is one of the better ones. It is maintained nicely and very clean. It also offers kitchen suites that were great for my children as we were able to easily keep small meals on hand. Definitely recommend!
