Sonesta Simply Suites Detroit Ann Arbor

The suit was very spacious and definitely very good if you are travelling as an individual who needs to work, a couple or a couple with a kid. It was equipped with a mini kitchen (with Fridge, stove, a mini coffee maker, and some dishes). Some of the floors (corridors, etc.) were being renovated, which apparently was supposed to end at the end of May. The shower needed to be fixed (not proper drainage, and not pressurized water that much). The rooms didn't feel very sound proof as I could hear people in the corridor easily. However, the property was quite at night. I didn't notice any vending machine or ice machine, etc. (but I didn't also look thoroughly).

Run down and staff not friendly

The room looked as if it had just been set up and not cleaned. Bootprints on tile floor in bathroom not even tried to remove. The rest of the room was also very dirty and old. I was told they could not give me my king room that I had reserved because they were doing renovations. I was never informed of the construction. I do not recommend.

Great value. Newly renovated. Clean, quiet, safe.

I usually very much enjoy my stays a this hotel. This time, Clean kitchen was clean and well equipped. Floors could've used a lot more thurough vacuuming in bedroom and living room area, corners of bathroom floor were dirty and there was absolutely no counter space in the bathroom.
