The hotel is really nice, has a great design and atmosphere. There is a really nice small restaurant and a really nice pool. The staff is really friendly and helpful as well. And the rooms are nice and clean as well. I had a nice stay there and will return to the same hotel when I come back in town.

Room was not cleaned both nights of my stay. Sofa in the room was uncomfortable. Long walk to the front door, it was the only entrance that I saw . Paint was peeling on the ceiling of shower old tub,no walk in shower .

Staff was very personable and accommodating. We arrived early and they went above and beyond to get our room clean and ready. That was really appreciated and took a lot of stress off us. Room was clean and eating area very clean and breakfast was good. The only concern I had was with the pool area - the pool is wonderful for families, however, the ventilation in the area is poor. The chlorine ozone layer in the air was overly thick and that is not good for anyones lungs. There needs to be more airflow or better balance and/or adjustment to chlorine to minimize the breathing in of chlorine fumes. We did ask staff if we could open the door, which they allowed, but with no wind outside, it did little to help. All in all, I would stay here again, but perhaps not swim unless adjusted.

We were in room 340. Woke up and opened the curtains to see the gravel roof top and AC units! Very ugly We will be staying in the area for the next few years for full weekends and are looking for a “ permanent “ hotel home. We thought this would be it. Be very disappointed the view was discouraging. I told the front desk on check out and he said I don’t know why they rent that unit, it is horrible. Should be last unit sold and come with some disclaimer about the view. I agreed. But that was that

This was a good place to stay close to Ohio State University. Placed our reservation on line. The signs say Fairfield but once we got inside the desk clerk said welcome to the comfort Inn by Marriott. Very confusing. Cleanliness and upkeep of the property was fair at best. I think the upkeep was the biggest problem making it look less clean. It was a nice room and comfortable bed but the bathroom light was attached to the fan and it squealed for a long time after being turned on. Finally the squealing stopped so we left it on all night with the door closed. It was that or go into a totally dark bathroom. TV worked well as did the internet connection which was free. So not a bad stay, but not the best of Marriott.
