Frankenmuth Motel

A clean and quiet room with easy parking. Very comfortable bed.

Old-school one story motor court. Rooms quite small. Beautiful flowering planters (all of Frankenmuth has outstanding landscaping). Very limited free breakfast options.

Was there with large group of hobby members. The large picnic area between the two sections of motel was ideal for outdoor get together, and far enough from the rooms that normal noise didn't bother other guests. So mark parking, nice size, clean and quiet room. Very happy.

Very nice cute motel. Very clean, confortable bed. It is nice that they have two outside chairs at each room. Highly recommend.

Need a covered area for sitting outside when it’s rainy

The room was perfect. We played cards outside in the evening on the picnic tables. It is a great location. The staff is friendly.

Its play motel, so you have to check-in at the front office. Then drive to Your Outside Entrance to Your Room. They say breakfast is complimentary. Your choices are a yogurt, a donut. Or a bagel or packaged oatmeal? The coffee was absolutely horrible and undrinkable. They do have juice. Tea and hot chocolate, but again, you have to leave your room and go to the front office, which is a separate building from the motel. We got into our room and it smelled like we walked into long, John silver's. It was absolutely horrible. It was late, so we did not bother to complain or talk to them. We just went to bed, got up the next day. Asked for a different room, and we they moved us right away. The second room was okay. But again, this is a motel. You get to your room entering from outside. It's not like a hotel where you have hallways and elevators and so forth. You drive to Your Room and Enter from Outside. Definitely. Not a 9 plus star. Resort at all, which is why I rented it because they said it was a 9.4. Online, I would give this a high seven rating, possibly a low eight, because of the area, and some of the rooms have been remodeled, and we're decent.The bathrooms are small.The second room we were in the tub was dirty and looked like it had not been scrubbed in a month. The beds were comfortable and the sheets in bedding was mediocre. The air conditioner in heater fluctuate 3° at night, so 3° cooler. You're covering up then it goes to the temperature you have at sat at plus thre

Sparkling clean!

Room was spotless, well appointed and smelled fresh.

Although I wasn’t expecting to be impressed by the motel. I was unpleasantly surprised by bugs in the bathroom. Also the bed was insanely uncomfortable it was hard as a brick. Breakfast is toast and fruit. Hot coffee and tea is available.

The room smelled musty. The towels and sheets were damp-feeling. The room had spiders, gnats, mosquitoes, and flies, which was disgusting. The breakfast was very minimal. The hotel was not within walking distance of anything. We were very disappointed. This was our fourth trip to Frankenmuth, staying at 4 different places. This is the only one we would never stay at again.

SPOTLESSLY CLEAN! We've stayed in high end hotels that could learn a thing or two from your establishment. Our room was comfortable and so so clean. We will be back!

We were very close to the river front stores and the downtown area. Breakfast was simple and very good. The motel is very clean and very quiet. I would recommend staying here. Just remember that the room are small, and we had no issues with that.

Clean and everything worked fine. No clogged or slow drains. Couldn’t quite figure out how the thermostat worked. The heater would come on and worked fine and then later it would be blowing very cold air.

Nice, quiet, and a good price for the area. Easy walk to river shops and Bavarian Waterpark (about 1/2 mile). The a/c was great. I do have lots of little complaints. The single bed (full size?) was adequately comfortable but way too small - the room was small but could easily fit a king. The deadbolt was tough to lock; I had to pull up on the door to lift it into a place where it would engage. The bathroom was updated with modern fixtures but not finished well and the plumbing was ugly and hacky; loose faucets, missing drain cover in the tub and the sink had a flexible tube instead of a proper p-trap. The bathroom lightswitches were outside the bathroom door and there was a seperate switch for the light and fan, which is always a bad idea and the mildew was already starting to spread in the top corners. Otherwise the room was clean and tidy, and had modern furniture, a tv, mini fridge, and a microwave which was nice but it had the brightest dang clock display I've ever seen. A little bit of tlc to reduce that and the other annoying little led lights in the room would go a long way. Most egregiously, I was in a bind for a feminine product and they had none at the desk, not even a single for sale, and directed me to a drug store a couple miles up the road, which I personally found unacceptable enough that we will be trying somewhere else next time we are visiting Frankenmuth.

Staff was friendly. Facility called to confirm our reservations a week in advance. Not sure what up with some of the air conditioners in hotels now but they barely run at night but they run during the day even when set as low as they can go which was 65, it makes the room hot at night and not comfortable to sleep in. Bed was a firm one, didn't get much sleep. Motel is close to downtown for shopping & dining.

Frankenmuth Motel is a nice and very clean motel close to downtown without the crowds. The room was clean, a little dated, but very comfortable. The beds were extremely comfortable, the only minor issue we had was with the shower. Low water pressure and not very warm.

Great value and location for the price. Room was recently renovated and very pleasant. There were no unwanted sounds or smells from neighboring rooms. It was an easy walk to nearby sights and things to do downtown, and there was plenty of parking. Breakfast the next morning was also quite nice. All-around a win!

The heater was amazing. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The price was great, most hotels want 200 to 300 dollars a night. The motel deserves a better rating than one star. One thing I would like to change is the metal bed foundation. Every time you hit it it sounds like kicking a garbage can.

The staff were pleasant, the room was clean and quiet. The only real downfall was the shower didn’t have much water pressure and the tub drained kinda slow. Over all I would recommend this location.

We wanted a print out of receipt and it says 24 hour desk but no one was there when we left at 545am

We reserved 2 rooms for our stay and Jennifer, at the front desk, was so very pleasant to deal with! She answered all my questions and the motel is always so accommodating. They've also updated the rooms since our last stay and they are very wwll done. Grankenmuth Motel is much better priced than the hotels uptown,as well. We love staying there, and will continue to stay at Frankenmuth Motel when we visit Frankenmuth. They're one of the best in our opinion.

The check in was quick and Jennifer was pleasant. Breakfast was good.

Check in was very nice, staff member was exceptional. I will say there wasn’t any soap (only shampoo) in the shower’s dispensers.

I received a rude phone call from a staff member about my check in arrival. I believe they were trying to rent my room to another traveler.

Checking in was great. The lady was very nice and efficient! She explained everything we needed to know for our stay .

I was hoping that they had more breakfast options. It was ok for one to two night stay but its not the most convenient location. The front desk staff needs to be more friendly and approachable.

Everyone was friendly and efficient.The place is perfect for the price and close to town and quiet. The Receptionist needs to be a little more accompanying and respectful about her Breakfast rules. The owners are very nice.

Convenient to Frankenmuth and attractions

Spent a day in frakenmuth, walking distance to the city (15-20 minute), very clean, would recommend

Very convenient spot to stay, less then a 3 min drive to downtown frankenmuth or about a 10-15 minute walk. Is it the fanciest hotel? No but it was a good price for the location. Also the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful.

It’s sort of on a backstreet from the other motels, which makes it very quiet and away from the main traffic,but it is very close to Bronner‘s and the downtown area, just a very short drive, or if you’re up to a good walk, you can do that also. It’s an old-fashioned motel where the doors are outside facing the parking area, but they’ve maintained it very well. They serve a small continental breakfast. The staff is friendly, polite and helpful.

Located in a quiet part of town.

Very clean. Motel location described as downtown which it is but actually is one street behind the Main Street of town which makes it a very quiet location yet convent to everything.

Everything was less than 2 miles from the hotel. Downtown area and Bonner's Christmas Wonderland.

Although the hotel was clean, it was definitely disappointing. Room temperature was hard to contro. Breakfast was terrible with no milk or cream for coffee. We stayed thinking we would be walking distance to downtown. Not walkable. For the price we paid, should have stayed in Birch Run since we had to drive anyway.

Very close to the downtown, about a 10 minute walk. The rooms had some updates, i would suggest some hooks on bathroom doors. The staff were all super friendly. Breakfast was minimal but ok.

Lovely clean motel. Room was newly renovated. Breakfast was adequate (instant oatmeal, muffins, bagels, donuts, cold hardboiled eggs, yogurt, bananas, juice, coffee/tea). Very nice quiet area, conveiently located.

Need to inprove breakfast

The motel was very clean and comfortable. We walked to the downtown area for dinner, and it was an easy walk of about 15 minutes. The only real letdown was the breakfast selection, but it wasn't the end of the world. We would definitely stay at this motel again.
