The place deff needs an upgrade. My 8yr old liked the arcade upstairs. The pool was warm. There housekeepers need to do better at cleaning there was mold behind my toilet. Hair in the shower and I didn’t use it. People were slamming doors. The doors aren’t quiet. The breakfast was lacking and I wish I would’ve just went out for breakfast. Bed was comfy though.

We have stayed at baymont's in Grand rapids and they have been nicely updated, nice pools along with a hot tub and a decent breakfast. This place was the opposite. Breakfast was stale with very few choices. Outdated rooms. Staff was very rude. The tub had chipped paint, elite and dripped making noises all night. The pool was shut down even was advertised that it had a pool and hot tub but they just use that room for storage. Definitely will not be back to this place.

This should maybe be a 1.5 star hotel if that. The rooms had chipped and peeling paint, windows that could open (dangerous for 4th floor with no screen), wood to hold up the sink, sink that drains slowly and tub that fills when showering. One room had a fire, so the halls still smell like smoke. The pool had a strange film over it along with mold on the walls in the pool area, so we chose not to chance it. The breakfast could hardly be called that. They offered dry donut holes, bagels and cereal. No protein or fruit of any kind. There’s also notes on the doors that for your safety to bolt the door. Wouldn’t stay again and wouldn’t recommend to anyone. Definitely not a Baymont quality that I’ve stayed in before.

I HAD TO MOVE THE MATTRESS TO FIND MY EAR BUD. THERE WERE HOLES FROM OLD OUTLETS NOT COVERED AND DUST AND COBWEBS, THE ROOM HAD A HOLE IN THE WALL, THE BATHROOM HAD COBWEBS IN THE LIGHT FIXTURES, THE TUB WAS PEELING, THE PAINT WAS BUBBLE AND TORN ON THE CEILING IN THE BATHROOM, THERE WAS A HANDICAP SHOWER CHAIR IN THE BATHROOM WHICH WE DID NOT REQUEST AND IT HAD HAIR LEFT ON IT. HOT WATER IN THE SINK WAS WEAK, SHOWER PRESSURE WAS AVERAGE, BUT THE SHOWER HEAD WAS PLACED TO LOW TO COMFORTABLY SHOWER. BREAKFAST WAS AS ADVERTISED A BASIC CONTINENTIAL BREAKFAST. THE SHEETS WERE CLEAN BUT HAD HOLES IN THEM AND THE BLANKET WAS ALSO CLEAN BUT HAD STAINS. THE GIRL WHO CHECKED US IN WAS GREAT. I DON'T EXPECT PERFECTION AT A CHEAP HOTEL, BUT I DO EXPECT IT TO BE CLEAN EVERYWHERE AND PROPERLY MAINTAINED FOR GUEST SAFETY. ROOM ALSO HAD A MINI FRIDGE AND MICROWAVE WHICH WAS NICE TO HAVE. COULDN'T COMMENT ON ANY OTHER AMENITIES WE DID NOT USE THE WORK OUT ROOM OR POOL.
