We had a very nice one night stay and would definitely recommend it, and return. They were understaffed both when we checked in and the following morning, so we had to wait a bit. But, the staff did everything they could to help everyone as fast as possible. The pool/splash pad was fun! The equipment could use an update, but was clean and the kids loved it.

FALSE ADVERTISING! I booked this hotel based on the pictures of the beautiful pool area. We show up to swim with our kids, and the kid pool with slides is broken apart, water drained. Pool is gross, dark cloudy color, hair clumps floating in it. Rusted areas. Hot tub was disgusting as well. Despite this, my kids were still excited about the little splash pad area, so we stayed for a little bit and let them run around. I’ve been bamboozled!

Our room was nice and clean, the conference room for a kids party was equally nice. Great location for attendees to go from their rooms, to party to pool. ONLY negative way too many people in pool area and surely NOT enough chemicals to accompany the numbers couldnt even smell it. The hot tub had so many people their was dirt floating on bubbles and a dirt ring. So glad my little onea kicked around and wanted to leave the area.

No towels in the pool area either night and no towels replaced in our rooms. Lots of car windows smashed in the parking lot overnight too. The pool area is extremely disability friendly, highly recommend for families. Hopefully the hotel will get the other issues figured out.

Bathtub was full of hair and dirty soap scum. Drain was backed up. Toilet wouldn’t stop running until we wiggled the flusher. Pool and hot tub looked so gross we didn’t dare use them.

Absolutely disgusting hotel, the kid splash pad was closed because of the health department we were told at check in. Other pools completely over packed, no one wearing wrist bands as they were all funneling in with other people staying at the hotel. A large piece of drywall fell into the pool area from the wall while we were in the pool. There were bandaids all over the pool area, ice machine has black mold on it!, all of the hallway trash cans were over flowing with trash, the room that we booked was a king suit that looked like a spring break party just happened in. The room had chunks of drywall patched in not painted, the tub drain would not stay closed, living room AC did not work. Had wires hanging out of it. Also no towels in the pool area, we were told that they were all dirty… this happened two days in a row! I would never recommend this place don’t trust the photos that they posted they were obviously from years ago!!

We spent some extra money and stayed at the property for the weekend solely because of the pool....that was inoperable and under maintenance that we were not made aware of until we walked into the door...the kids were super disappointed and if I would have known it was down we would have saved some of our money and just booked somewhere else.

Not up to Holiday Inn "standards". Some areas have been updated and are nice, others areas were dirty and not up to par. They could have an amazing swim area but the equipment definitely needs some updating/improvements. Also, be advised they charge $5.00 per person for breakfast....we paid and regretted it, had to ask for oj, milk, and additional things to be filled. Some of the staff does not speak English. Our room was clean but above the shower was full of mold, fan did not work, sink did not drain correctly :(

This was way too expensive for the product provided. Room was dirty with dirty sheets and pillows. Couch caved into the middle. Carpet was dirty. Room was incredibly noisy and we were woken up multiple times through the night. Would not recommend.

We checked into our room which was a King with a pull out couch. We pulled out the couch and the linen that was left on it was dirty and had chip crumbs in it. We lifted it up and the mattress had a large red stain on it…..I don’t even want to ask what it was. We asked for new linens and had to go down and get them ourselves and remake the pull out. Our room was on the back side of the building which butted up to the freeway. All I heard all night were semi trucks and motorcycles along with people stumbling around in the hallways yelling at midnight.

The hotel was dirty, unkept, and falling apart. Bags of trash were left down every hallway and trash cans were over flowing. Our room was disgusting - more trash and spills that had never been cleaned up. The door to the room looked like it had been kicked in or forcefully opened at some point. Toilet paper holder was broken and falling off the wall. Pool towels were never available. The ceiling of the pool area looks like it’s about to cave in. Less than half of the lights in the pool were actually working.

When we checked in our room was not clean. Wrappers in the drawers, a full McDonald’s cup in the fridge, liquid in the bottom of the fridge, the microwave was not wiped out, balls of hair on the floor. The pool area needs to be renovated and cleaned. There was what looked like mold all over the hot tub. The toilets clog with just flushing toilet paper. If you call the front desk they’ll just leave. Plunger by your door. We will never stay here again.

We stayed in 418 and the ac was very loud. Breakfast was not quickly replenished. We had to leave pretty quickly in the morning around 7 and there was nothing left. Comfy bed and good water pressure in the shower. :)

This was an interesting two-night stay for our family since there were some really great things about the hotel and also some really not-so-great things about the experience. From the start, we booked this hotel based on the photos of the indoor water park at the facility. We also did not see the negative reviews of this place on Expedia until afterward. The hotel has definitely been renovated recently and in a really good way. In addition, the rooms are larger than average. I don't describe the hotel as "dirty" in general. However, there are signs of minor damage and debris in the room and around the property that take a little bit away from the comfort of the place. But it doesn't ruin what is overall a good hotel. The water park is definitely falling into disrepair. It wasn't as bad as I pictured based on the descriptions I read here. However, it isn't as pictured in the provided photos of the property, either. It's neat and just needs a thorough refreshing to bring back. The most frustrating part of our stay came at the end when we noticed 3 different charges from Holiday Inn totaling about $275 on our debit card. That's on top of the $320 we paid to Expedia at time of booking. The $100 incidental hold still hasn't been refunded two days later, but there is no explanation for separate charges of $113 and $65 from our stay. Even if these are holds, that's a lot! I'm awaiting explanation today.

Because I booked via Expedia, I was told I could not request room location in hotel, late check out not available, basically just had attitude because I did not use their website. Asked for a do not disturb sign, told out of them but would put me down as no housekeeping because I’m a 2nd shifter and sleep late, but was woke up anyway by housekeeping pounding on the door. Room was moderately clean, but floors were not, I should at least be reimbursed for 2 pairs of previously white socks that I thru out after the bottoms turned black. Mid week stay, not a busy hotel but couldn’t get upper floor as requested and put next door to a loud family of 5 when I was traveling alone and there were many other rooms available. Overall not a great experience.

Kids were running the halls, up and down the stairs and yelling, being extremely loud until about 1:00am. Our room phone did not work, so I had to walk down to the front desk to report the noise. You could hear them from the front desk too. The employee working the front desk acted bothered when I asked her, politely, if anything was going to be done about the noise. The loudness went on for a couple more hours.

From check in it was a questionable experience. It took about 30 plus minutes for them to check me into my room (I was not an early arrival). There were 3 employees at the front desk but they seemed preoccupied and my check in was not priority. The room was okay besides the sink being sloooooow to drain and having to hold down the toilet handle FOREVER in order for it to flush. We paid for breakfast which required another visit to the front desk in the AM to get the vouchers. At which time they informed me that I was never checked in and were completely uninformed that I had just stayed there overnight. This was quite alarming as I wondered if they could have rebooked my room and given my room key to another party since they hadn't assigned it to me at all. Needless to say, I think the staff need more training at the very least.

The only issue we had was in the morning when we went downstairs to get coffee. There was a man who came out after we’d been looking for someone (for a few minutes) and he said “the morning people were supposed to do that” but then he did start it. After waiting probably 15 minutes, I called back down the hallway to see if it was ready since he hadn’t come out and I had 2 kids with me who were losing patience, no answer for a few more minutes. Finally I walked back and he was sound asleep in the chair. I said hello and asked about the coffee and he didn’t say anything or even wake up. I got coffee and went back upstairs. It was just

Took my mom to the lantern festival atJohn Ball zoo for her 82nd birthday and stayed at that hotel. The surrounding area was definitely unkept, and it reeked of cigarette smoke outside and inside. The room was clean, but my shower was dirty. The front desk lady was overwhelmed with people trying to check in, but very friendly and tried to be accommodating. I reserved two rooms and instead of putting us in an adjoining room, hotels.com listed the second room under someone else’s name and we were unable to get adjoining rooms. So my mom was on the third floor and I was up on the fourth floor.

I will say hotel is very clean,.very clean and updated room was nice. Hotel check in staff was nice. Morning came, went to have coffee, all the had was decaf and a few creamers. Coffee lids did not fit the cups. I would rate the breakfast/availability very poor. Very little to no food and syrup had nothing in it even first thing in the morning. Breakfast/coffee is definitely not a priority for the hotel. There was no one attending the front to check anyone out.

The pool & play area was a blast! The kids absolutely loved the huge area & definitely tired them out. The unique fish tank helped keep the kiddos entertained while chhwcking in. The hot tub is a nice place to relax for the parents to unwind or begin the day. Unfortunately breakfast was not at par for being a dine in order off the menu. Its still taste like a buffet cuisine and shouldnt be an xtra cost added or sur charged. My price of the room was much more than given before my reservation & will be calling about that in the morning.

It was average. Couldn’t find the TV remote. Went to front desk. No one there. We’re disappointed with breakfast. They were very busy and it seemed like there was just one person to take care of the dining area. We left and went to McDonald’s, where they even brought our breakfast to our table. Other than that , it’s a nice place to stay. And it’s convenient.

The property advertises an onsite restaurant and also prohibits bringing in any food. Yet the restaurant was closed the during our entire visit. It's obvious the property cannot keep staff because we could not get towels for the swimming pool and many times the front desk was vacant because the poor manager was trying to help guests who experienced shortages in amenities. I would not recommend booking this property.
