Affordable Suites of America Grand Rapids

We were not allowed to check in. They said Hotels.com did not send the reservation to them. I'm not sure who to blame about that, but the property itself was a converted apartment complex, and had sketchy characters wandering the parking lot, and a lot of pot smell. In the end, I was glad we had to re-book somewhere else.

The front office was not open for me to check in when i arrived at 6pm so i had to find somewhere else to stay

The nearby establishment offers excellent accommodations for dogs, and the staff is professional and attentive. The room, appliances, bed, and bath are all of superior quality..spacious parking lot and the shops, restaurants nearby.. l high recommend price affordable

Very convenient location.

The room was disgusting, the floor was so sticky your shoes stayed when you moved, there was black hair on the walls of the shower, there was God knows what in the freezer and fridge and the couch made you cringe and I sure wouldn't use a black light in the room. The front desk clerk was rude and refused to switch rooms or have housekeeping come and clean the room. Her response was well I can give you a refund and you can find someplace else to go. Apparently they don't like being called out on what needs to be cleaned or that they have nasty rooms
