My husband, 2-year-old daughter, our dog, and I stayed two nights over a weekend in a king-bed suite. Our daughter slept great on the trundle bed that pulled out from the couch, and I highly recommend it for young children because no bedrails were needed. Air conditioning worked great. The fridge was a little run-down but worked, and the microwave and wet bar were fine. Plenty of storage areas in the room. Loved the TV options with all kinds of streaming services and even YouTube. The free breakfast was pretty standard but plentiful enough with a couple hot options that did change slightly from morning to morning along with the usual continental breakfast food. The pool was small but well-maintained. It was closed briefly for the pool ladder to be fixed after some kids were too rough on it, but it was fixed quickly and we got to take our daughter swimming both days. We also were able to get a late checkout for 2pm which was very helpful to allow our daughter to nap. The 24-hr mart was small but had some decent choices. There's a movie theater and tons of restaurants and stores nearby also.

This hotel was atrocious. Where do I even begin? Thankfully, this was not supposed to be a “fun” stay. We were displaced from our home due to flooding and this was an emergency stay until we got into an Airbnb. The toilet was clogged as soon as we entered the room. We called staff, they brought us a trash bag covered toilet plunger to de-clog the toilet ourselves. The one we did NOT clog. Not only that, but it easily clogged the rest of the trip, and we had to call for the plunger two other times in two days. WiFi is not free. You have to be a member to have access to the WiFi. The breakfast was a sad excuse. There was never any bacon or sausage or non-dairy options for protein. No fruit. Just yogurt, stale bagels and oatmeal were the only options on weekdays. They added waffles on Saturday, but there was a long line and I have four kids. Our door to our room would not close from the outside when we left the room. The dead bolt lock kept getting stuck every single time we went to leave we had to mess with it for 5 minutes to get it to close. The pool was really cold, and much smaller than advertised. It barely had enough room for our family to play in it. Thankfully, no one else came in when we did or we’d be sardines.

Excellent stay here! Our room was perfect, as we reserved, and it was clean and comfortable. We really didn’t have any noise issues (other than a couple people down about 2 rooms, who were having a rather loud argument with their door wide open - ugh). Still, we would definitely stay here again! And, they welcomed our pet which is an added bonus. Thank you so much!

Parking lot is small. When we returned from dinner, we weren't able to park on the property, but had to park at the hotel next door. The common eating area was small too. There was not enough seating for the guests in the morning for breakfast. Clean up for tables should have been faster so that tables weren't left dirty and people could sit.

One of the nicest hotels we’ve stayed at in the past few years. This will be our go-to if we have another event to attend in Grand Rapids. Close to downtown, rooms are huge, shower had the best water pressure, free parking and free breakfast!

The room was setup very nice. Refrigerator and microwave in room, continental breakfast offered in the morning. The only negative thing I can say was there were 5 different spider nests around ceiling that we had to let front desk know about. They did not take care of issue while we were there.

the beds are comfortable but we had to beg for them to bring us fresh towels and that is all they did. Pick up the dirty towels and leave fresh ones. Never made or changed the bedding during a 6 night stay. We had to take trash down to large trash can by the elevator. Room was never vacuumed and floor in bathroom never swept.

Front desk staff was wonderful! But room was dirty. Handprints all over mirrors and door in Shower. Sharp metal piece screwed down to bathroom floor. Actual wet rot hole in floor by cooling unit. Booked two beds, only got one. Just would not recommend nor stay here again.

Check in was fast and smooth. Front desk was friendly. The room was quiet and cozy. Perfect for the 4 of us with the Trundle bed and room separation. Bathroom fan was a bit loud for nighttime, wish there was a separate switch for the fan/light. Bedding was cozy. We brought extra blankets for the girls and their own pillows to make it more comfortable. The pool was smaller, but we had a great time swimming and it wasn't crowded.

The property was nice and clean. The staff was very nice and friendly. Our only complaint was the beds. The beds were horrible and I’m not sure what size there are, but they had to be smaller than a queen. It wasn’t very comfortable for two people to sleep in.

no soap in shower or on sink. front desk said it was on back order. only shower gel available. asked for some to be brought down and they said we had to come to desk to get it, looking at bed sheets and pillow slips, they don't look necessarily clean either. only fluffed up.
