They advertise game room ...none. Pool closed for renovations...ceiling caved in Handicap entrances...pavement broken, rocky and uneven. While going down hallway staff was spraying bug spray without any warning to anyone with health issues. Housekeeping services suspended. No handrails in showers. Playground area overgrown and neglected. Inadequate lighting down the hall with pool...all the windows were covered which made it very dark. No coffee in the mornings

The guy on staff was nice. Rooms were cleanish but old. The big problem I had is that the power went out and they don't have backup generators. There were no emergency lights in the room so I couldn't see to go to the bathroom. I had to leave for safety reasons. They refused to offer a refund for the unused night or a discount.

This Super 8 has greatly improved over the past years. Clean, neat. The breakfast was much better than expected. Concrete leading to main entry in poor condition. Would make repair a high priority due to potential lawsuits. Overall, great job!

Pro: The staff were friendly, courteous and helpful. They were quick to take care of needs and answer questions. Cons: ** Motel is under renovation - a lot of noise, dust and construction material in hall, stairway and second lobby areas. ** The pool and hot tub were closed; not disclosed online, only a notice at the front desk. ** Wished there was a bedside table and lamp on both sides of bed. ** One chair was exceptionally dirty, put a towel over it to use it. ** AC is very loud; highway noise and noise from other rooms is quite noticeable.

The Super 8 was SO CLEAN and smelled AMAZING!! The lady at the front desk upon check-in was so fun and thoughtful! We were here for a local wedding, with dogs. The hotel has a brand new dog park right behind it, just mere feet away from the parking lot!!! The staff and hotel embrace their fur customers and only ask that you be decent and clean up after them. The room was just as impressively clean as the lobby. The halls smelled so fresh and clean every time I opened up the door to co.e through. It doesn't smell like almost all other hotels. The staff we encountered were awesome. There were only a couple but they were kind. The pool was wonderful! And CLEAN!! The front desk lady upon check-out, (I'm not sure if it was the same woman who checked us in because we had so much going on) was also kind and thoughtful. Overall, we had an amazing stay even though our plans changed and we left early. I GIVE THIS FIVE OUT OF FIVE STARS!!

Staff were pleasant, coffee always available, and breakfast was nice. Color of carpet on stairs made it difficult to see next step and no lighing (dark). Pool heater broke, too cold to swim--one reason we stayed at this hotel.

Stayed there one night over Memorial Day and will never go back. This place is beyond dirty I don’t know how they can stay open. The pool is closed to start. As you enter the facility it smells horrible and the lobby has a guys used 20 year old dorm room furniture. Rooms are small and beyond dirty. It mentions on there reviews newly renovated it’s NOT! Bed linens where nasty dressers had stain spills all on them the chairs where to gross to sit on.

Stayed a night 1 year ago and i thought it seemed cleen for a cheap place, but this stay was gross. Underware left hanging in the bathroom floor. Used coffee grounds lest in the machine. The floor was sticky and mold in corners.

I have stayed at this property previously. This year the cleaning of the room was not acceptable. There were used wash cloths hanging in the shower. A bag was placed over the smoke detector and it was still in place when I got in the room. I am sure a customer did this that was smoking in the room but it was really obvious and housekeeping should have caught this stuff.

This place has cockroaches! We found them in our room and requested a room change. They put me in the room directly across the hall (110) from the room I was already in (111) I moved the refrigerator away from the wall and sure enough a cockroach. Also one behind the dresser. We checked out and were able to get a refund through Expedia. Not only disgusting but so inconvenient as we were in town for a funeral and struggled to find a place for the dogs during the service. Cockroaches in TWO rooms…running around, that place must be infested if the roaches are coming out while the lights are on and just running up the walls like the one in our room did

It was very quiet and the parking was good. The area felt very safe. The room was clean. One of the hand towels was stained. The bed was not a queen size like it said when I booked it. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was ok.

The beds were comfortable but there were a few things about our room that made us realize we will not book here again. The water in the bathroom was on a trickle, making it challenging to wash hands and brush teeth. Counter space was sparse, you have to put your stuff on the bed or on the floor. And the air unit was loud enough to disrupt sleep. Chairs in our room were not clean. We didn’t think the value for dollar was there for us. Thank you.

The heater fan was loud and was on a thermostat, going off and on all night long. AFTER we got into bad is when we noticed, there was only one thin blanket to cover us. We wish we had asked for an extra blanket.

It's not on the lake. The property needs a little work, updated. Customer service was good when I had to work with them. Room was nice, clean. TV was I believe a 32 " which is way to small. Breakfast bar was the normal. I would stay there again if I am in the area. It's right off US 127 freeway.

I liked the overall atmosphere. The entrance from the lobby to the rooms, play area for kids and pets being welcomed! All staff, except one(my initial encounter) I encountered was extremely nice, courteous and helpful even with the staff shortage. Property was clean and well kept. Manager was the BEST! Upbeat friendly customer service above and beyond!!! Would def stay again!!

Overall a nice Super 8, affordable and very convenient for the wedding we attended in Lake City. Was not made aware at check-in that housekeeping had to be requested via a sheet stuck in the door (?) but still didn’t receive service even when I asked at the desk. Had to come get new sheets at 10:40 pm when we returned to the property and change the beds myself as I had stripped them earlier in the day.

The front desk representative came across abrasive (not welcoming). Very noisy, like doors slamming until 1:30 am. The dresser drawer was broken, a repair was done to it with scotch tape, LoL. Broken tile laying on the bathroom floor. Many things in the hotel needs repair or replaced. We paid for 2 nights and we left after the first night, we knew we couldn’t get a refund but we wanted out of there and paid to stay at another hotel nearby.

booked online and paid on line 11 days before arrival, then found they charged our credit card again, had to go to front desk to get them to acknowledge the double charge. Their answer was that they were new and that if we had a problem we needed to call the manager. Also no bath towels in bathroom, only had hand towels to dry off after showering. No we have to monitor our credit card to see if they reverse the double charge, ugh! Good help is truly hard to find these days.

It took us over 20 minutes to check in. The floors in our room was dirty, Went to breakfast at 8:45, only thing left was bread. No milk , yogurts nothing. How can you serve breakfast 6 to 10am and have not replace items. Very disappointed

Did not have a functioning pool or hot tube. Breakfast was terrible. At 730 am they were out of regular coffee and cream. No yougart. Watered down waffle batter. Very few muffins. Came back later hoping they would restock missing items but they didn't.
