Travelodge by Wyndham Hudsonville

Repairs to the bathroom were done wit duct tape. A shelf held with duct tape fell off while my wife was using the toilet and spilled the contents of my kit bag. Breakfast consisted of water or coffee ther was no food.

While this is an old hotel, everything in our room worked great and we were very comfortable for 2 nights here. The pool is not in service, but if you're looking for a clean, comfortable room this qualifies for sure! I couldn't care less if the paint is faded and the carpet is worn in spots. I went down to the desk when we checked out to tell management thank you and was informed that they had recently taken over and will be making updates.

Says it has a pool and it did not. Breakfast was cold cereal. In 5 nights of staying there no one ever came to the room to bring clean towels or empty the one waste basket.

I read the reviews and room description before settling on Travelodge. Ultimately everywhere else was super expensive for a 3 night stay. I think there were multiple events this weekend, so room rates were higher in Holland than the previous two years we've been here. If you stay here, keep in mind that you get what you pay for. I meal prep breakfast and dinner because my kid has to eat healthy meals during swim meets. I brought our cooler and air fryer because there's no mini fridge in the rooms. There's a microwave in the lobby depending on where you are in the hotel, it could be a hike. We were close. There's no elevator. The bedroom/dining table area was clean/vacuumed. The pillows are flat, not pancakes, but I needed both to feel like I was using one at home. I brought pillows from home. Other than that the bed was comfortable. The bathroom sink was clean. The toilet seat had a droplet of I don't know what on it, and there was a ring inside the toilet like what you see if you forget to clean the basement toilet for a couple months. The bathtub was one of those one piece tub/shower deals. I used my Scrubbing Bubbles to clean the toilet seat and tub/shower/soap dish. I didn't clean the inside of the toilet. All the furniture and decor is probably from the 90s except the tv. The television is a flat screen, but it is tiny, maybe a 30".

Hairdryer was broken, pool empty and used for storage of used items, had to wait for some one to come out to the reception desk and continental breakfast was nil.

This is a low budget hotel . Get your head around that and your expectations will be closer to the mark. We were there for 5 nights. No change of bedding happened during that time, and no fresh towels. There was no coffee maker , fridge or microwave in the rooom. The beds were great and the price was right. So, if you just passing thru, and need a place to sleep only, then this hotel meets that criteria. Coffee was available in the lobby, and the staff were nice.

Online photos are not representative of actual condition of the premises. Most of the claimed amenities were out of order or had been discontinued. There is an obvious lack of maintenance to the building.

Every single thing in this hotel was terrible. The room was so filthy i opted to brush my teeth in the parking lot on the morning of checkout and just leave as quickly as possible. The mattress had huge stains and no cover, the pillows were totally flat, there were questionable stains on nearly everything, the sink barely drained, hairs and stains on every towel provided. Horrible experience over all i seriously thought we would get a disease sleeping there.

Infested with cockroaches and other scary bugs. The toilet stall has not been cleaned and other people feces were around the commode and in the water. It has not been cleaned. The entire room smelled after vomits, and the couch was filthy dirty. The bed pillows were the worst I have ever used. This is the worst and filthiest hotel I have ever stayed in my life.

Hello, This is the worst hotel we have stayed at the rooms were dirty. They were still food all over the floor when we got there. There were cobwebs in the bathroom. The whole building is just run down. Carpets are stained and worn out, the outside is in need of definite repairs and upkeep. It was truly the worst experience. Sincerely, Angela

I needed a room queen double bed for me my daughters and grandchildren, short notice, due to booking issues with another hotel. Room was booked short notice, but this a hotel. Beds were full size not queen as they listed, we have taken many trips and never had an issue with bed size. The carpet was dirty and stained, the bathroom was nasty with blood spots on the wall, floor was dirt and tub had piss stains and yes piss stains. I was just happy that my grandchildren has a place to sleep, but never again.

There were bed bugs in the room. We needed a room downstairs and they wanted to put us in the second story room.

The room was dirty, carpet was not vacuumed, toilet, sink, shower and refrigerator had hair in them. I would have loved to see a perfect but CLEAN AND SANITIZED WAS WHAT I EXPECTED. The breakfast that was offered was SAD.

Smelled really bad could not even stay left after 10 mins of being in the room. Hall way had an order of dead animal or sewage made me feel sick..I’d ask for a refund if I could the room was just gross key didn’t work right away and the lock was missing some how the bed was still dirty.

Just your basic hotel off the busy street but close to everything you need, even close enough to drive to Grand Rapids, Holland, Lake Michigan shoreline. The hotel could use updating, my shower wouldn’t drain and water would keep raising drain slowly after shower. I respect that it’s a quiet place and able to sleep. I spent 5 nights, I would stay again if in that area. I didn’t take advantage of free breakfast so I don’t know what was offered. Only recommend is start to do some maintenance and update

The room was great. Clean and quiet. Hair dryer shorted out when I tried to use it. But this happens. I’ve stayed here before and will stay here again.

The front desk was nice and even printed a parking pass for me. There were double locks on the doors which made me feel safe. The AC cooled really well.

Everything was very outdated. Mattress was poor, pillows were terrible. Blankets pretty non existent. Felt like I was transported back to the 70s.

The lobby was very dirty with cabinet doors hanging off. The halls smelled like pot, the rooms were so loud with the road noise, and the room was not very inviting.

Bed was too hard. Gave me back ache.

Helpful when checking in

When we checked in the guy at the front desk gave us a room that was already occupied by another family. We walked into the room while they were sleeping.

I waited forever at the front desk to check in. I finally got checked in went to the room and it was a single bed and I reserved a double bed. So went back to the desk got a different room went to that room and the key didn’t work went back to the front desk got a working key. Got back up to the room and there was no towels and there was hair in the shower.

Smooth check in. Room was clean n convenient next to the entrance/exit.

A worker tried to get in our room at 1 AM. Thank God the latch was attached.

Charged twice for one night stay

Friendly staff, property was kept clean, and outside was clear of most snow buildup

Convenient location for visiting both Grand Rapids, MI attractions and Holland, MI. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Could have been better, but over all not too bad

Price was the only reason I stayed buying a house and escrow hasn’t closed, but I will never go back here. Ghetto run down, people need to put the drugs down around there. They need to use that energy and vacuum a hallway or stairs
