Beautiful location and a hotel that’s offers opportunities to enjoy that beauty! Half of the hotel rooms offer window views of Lake MI. Our room was really clean! Our lake view room had a back door that opened onto a patio with table & 2 chairs and beautifully kept lawn right up to the bank of rocks to the lake. They provided charcoal grills, as well as a beautiful large gas fire pit surrounded by a large patio. Great hot breakfast which included more side options than most hotels.

This hotel is feet from Lake Michigan - what a beautiful view, including an awesome fire pit and Adirondack chairs. The facilities were clean and the staff was pleasant. We will definitely stay here again.

We where so pleasantly suprised about how nice this hotel was. It was so clean and welcoming. The staff was so friendly. I was so shocked that the hotel was right on the lake. The pool area was small but it was clean. The water was warm and it kept the kids occupied. Over all really enjoyed our stay and would go again and recommend to anyone going to the area.

Excellent hotel with an unreal view of Lake Michigan. The pool and hot tub are clean and rarely busy. This is about our 7th time here and we’ll be back again.

The room was clean and nice with comfortable beds. I know it would be a very expensive proposition, but the surface they used for the pool deck is these little stones and the way they are spaced they pinch the skin on your feet with every step. It is very uncomfortable bordering on painful. I doubt they will resurface it, but everyone we met complained about it in the pool area. My advice is to bring flip flops for sure. All that said, this was our second year coming for a sporting event, and we will be back again next year. The staff was very nice and breakfast was good enough.

Our double queen room had very uncomfortable and squeaky beds, a damp floor, and a bad smell. The bathroom needed deep cleaning, particularly along the tile, and the tub did not drain well. We were unimpressed for the $250 per night cost. Breakfast was fine and staff were nice.

After 8 hours driving we wanted a hot tub, booked this hotel because they have one, but was not told it was out of order until after check in was complete and she had my credit card……when I said that was why I specifically booked them and it was not stated on their web site, she said “ oh well” Hotel carpets were old and worn looking, did not feel they were clean. Heater/Air conditioner in room is very noisy.

We have stayed here many times. The views are amazing. Walk to and from lighthouse is about 4 miles. Down town about 1 mile to the beginning of the main street. Gym was good, pool nice and clean. Hot tube was great. No issues with staff or shortage of towels....my only concern for this rating was the room. The other times i have stayed it was not an issue, so might have been just this room. My only issue is this room smelled like animal and meldew. Now it is pet friendly so i get it. Suggestions: With animals being welcome, the floors need more attention to cleanliness...shampoo them more regularly. Animals can be booked in certain rooms not all room to limit allergies or smells. Curtains- no sheer type for light yet privacy....just the heavy dark curtains so it is either dark or open windows.

Came here with my fiance for our 5 year anniversary.. got the premier suite. It had a hot tub in the room it is older but works good, full kitchen, beautiful led fireplace, couch, tv. The public pool and hot tub is clean and relaxing. They have a fire pit outside by the lake. The bed was very comfortable and clean. Only complaint was they forgot to clean the clean the tub in the room.. but I called staff and they immediately came and cleaned it. I was met with a genuine apology and it was taken care of. Other than that our stay was fun and relaxing. Breakfast was also very good. Sausage, eggs, potatoes, oatmeal and fruit, coffee and a variety of juices. And goes til 10am which is nice. We will be coming back for sure and requesting the balcony side suite. Thank you. Tim and Kristi.

The staff were all very friendly and nice. The room and building were clean and well maintained. The grounds are beautiful - being right on the lake was very peaceful. In the afternoon there were families and dogs sharing the lawn space. At sunset it was nice and quiet and peaceful sitting around the fire pit and hearing the lake. The only negative thing we experienced was the loudness of the doors - we were near an exit door and would continually hear the door slamming shut behind anyone coming or going. But it wasn’t super disruptive.

The Staff that worked here were very nice and outgoing. The outside property and view of Lake Michigan are amazing. Also very convenient was having a restaurant very close. The only down side was I happened to go when the lake fly hatching was going on. So I was not able to use the balcony with out having a ton of lake flies getting in the room and buzzing me while I tried to sleep. But with the big bay window I was still able to enjoy a beautiful view.

This AmericInn is next to the bay of Green Bay and has lovely views of the marina and lighthouse. There is also a fire pit with Adirondack chairs beside the lake. The breakfast was very good and our room very comfortable. Definately good value for money. There is no elevator (supposed to be installed this year) so it is worth mentioning the n÷d for a ground floor room if unable to carry a suitcase and walk up a flight of stairs. The other negative for me was the single use plastics in the bathroom. They said they would be switching to bulk containers next year. Also, however tempting it is to sleep with the windows open beware the night time trains!

The water view room is worth the extra price. The room was spacious and clean and it opened to a beautiful waterfront. The fridge was bigger than other hotels. Breakfast had a good variety. Staff was very kind and they try to help us as much as they could. I would love to go back for longer than just one night. Great place for families.

Our check-in was great. Prompt, courteous service. We were not expecting so many dogs to be there. Bed was very comfortable, met some nice people. A woman kept standing outside our window smoking so not a lot of window openings..even during the night. The building was nice. Scrambled eggs were way too watery, bacon & sausage were good.

We stayed 2 nights. Hotel was clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly and they had a nice breakfast that was open until 10:00 am on Saturday and Sunday! I haven’t run across that anywhere else and we travel significantly. I thought that was a nice perk because who wants to get up to early on the weekend!
