Very peaceful, comfortable, and outstanding overall! The front desk is extremely polite and personable, and took an interest in how I did in my fishing tournament. If I have another tournament nearby someday, I'll definitely stop back in. The only area for improvement would be to repave the parking lot off to the side, but overall, it was a great experience!

We only stayed 1 night for about 10 hours. More or less to get some sleep. Our room was a bit run down. Bed was comfortable and the pillows were good. Small lobby and breakfast area

They have increased boat parking, but they could use more, and I believe they are working on it. When I was out around my boat at 3:30 AM each morning a staff member came by, I liked that. Good camera coverage of the parking lot. Only hotel I feel safe at when fishing Lake Murray. Not the closest but only a 30-minute drive to state park ramp.

this was a riding cross country terrestrial down pour, spur of the moment stop. Room was clean as well as the grounds. Staff was friendly and the breakfast was tempting.

Property located in the same lot as a convenient store and walking distance to waffle house..friendly front desk service .second time staying here as it's close to family ... parking lot well lit..was full house both times..which kes me to believe it has great standards...coffee in morning at office.

The room was absolutely filthy and so was my bed. I had to go out and buy new blankets and comforters to lay on because I was afraid of getting bedbugs. There was a chair in the corner that looked like it been chewed on by a dog for days, it was terribly disgusting. The shower ceiling had cracks and mold and parts of it falling down, the lights were disgusting. That’s just the name of few things. Needless to say I checked out early and I will never return.

I spent several nights here, for convenience to I26. I couldn't figure out WHY the bottoms of my feet were so filthy dirty after being in my room for awhile. While standing in front of the TV table, I was eating a yogurt and a small blob of yogurt hit the carpet. So, naturally, I dampened a wash cloth and took it several times, over the spot to clean it up. After 5 or 6 swipes over the carpet, the washcloth was nearly black. I then realized WHY the bottom of my feet were continually dirty. So I took a towel, wet some of it, with soap and commenced to scrub both feet again and the towel was gross and dirty from the bottoms of my feet. Kept my flip flops on at all times from that point forward. I took the blackened wash cloth and towel to the office and plopped it down and told the girl that this was just disgusting and that it was nasty and asked how many years had it been since the carpets were shampooed? She had NO words. I asked what they were going to do about this for me because I was most unhappy and disgusted. They DID NOTHING. The toilet paper holder was totally coming out of the wall, and the every time I brushed my teeth or ran the water in the sink, the drain backed up and took forever to drain. The "family" who operates this motel has done NOTHING to make these rooms at least cosmetically acceptable. Yeah, you get what you pay for I guess. At least the sheets were clean, & I inspected the mattresses & bed linens with great intent & i did not find any bedbugs

I made a reservation, checked in and went into the room. There were spots on the towels and sheets, some of them red. I wasn't sure what they were so I took them to the front desk and requested a refund. I did not stay here due to its unsanitary conditions.

Our room was extremely dirty. Dirty linens, bathroom and floors. Totally unacceptable to allow them to rent this room. We were traveling and needed sleep or we would have cancelled at check in. I do not recommend this hotel at all.

I rented a non smoker room, it was. The smell aas terrible, there were 6 flies on the room, the curtains didn’t close properly so I barely sleep. We felt the whole night that someone could break in, or a cockroach will appear. The sheets were stained and of course, bed bugs were a must. Please, save yourself some BAD time and rent somewhere else.

Room was in need of a renovation. The furniture was old and needed replacing. Bathroom door was peeling and needed replacing. The bathroom shower faucet was connected wrong(hot water came out the cold side and cold came out the hot side). There was not a coffee pot. It was an overnight trip and left 1st thing in the morning. The room was clean is about the only good thing I can say about it

They claimed not to have my booking in their system, but they wouldn't lift a finger to help. It took me over an hour to check in, because I had to track down a live hotels.com agent--which is no easy feat, by the way--but she did resolve the problem right away. The room was comfortable and had everything I needed, but whomever renovated it doesn't know how to sand or paint.

The air conditioner did not work. The handle to turn on the shower was not screwed in so it was loose and continued to fall off. One of the lamps did not work. The wash rags and towels were all stained. Some of them a yellowish grey color. There is a ton of mold in the shower. Other than that, overall stay was not terrible. Quite of bit of road noise and with out a working air conditioner I could not drowned out the noise. Love having Waffle House in walking distance.

This is an older building that needs some work. We were supposed to be in a non-smoking room but it smelled very strongly of cigarette smoke. The room, especially the restroom, could use paint. The cabinet top the fridge kept swinging open. The stairs to the 2nd floor need work and the hand rail doesn't go all the way to the top.

Stayed here after attending family member memorial service. Only one night. Arrived 2:45 PM. Waited 15 minutes for desk clerk to arrive. She was friendly though. Room was ok. Bed was comfortable. Entrance door had gap at bottom. So critters were able to crawl in. Went into bathroom during night and stepped on 5 inch long snake or crawling critter. Towels & washcloths need updated as they were old looking & yellowed. Room was a little dated. Ok for the one night. Reported critter to front desk @ checkout. Said they would check it out. Would probably stay at another hotel in area. Ok if your a construction worker or truck driver.

The room we were assigned was absolutely FOUL!!!!! You could actually smell the odor from the room when stood out 10 feet from the open door! The A/C unit was portable & extremely dirty - the wall unit was broke. The bathroom had mold & there were pieces of the ceiling literally hanging down as if mold had eaten through the area. The area the hotel is in is very sketchy!!! Don’t let the pictures fool you - that is NOT the hotel you drive up to!! When we requested a different room or a refund we were informed that since we booked through Expedia there was nothing they could do….the charge would stand!!! Although they did switch us to a different room the next day it was no better. The room didn’t wreak of foul odor but the jacuzzi tub was something I wouldn’t bath an animal in. It had a ring of smagma around the inside that appeared to be left from the previous 10 guests and had never been cleaned in between!!!! I do not usually post poor reviews or any reviews at all but THIS hotel is beyond disgusting!!!!! There’s definitely more items of nastiness & uncleanliness that I could detail but what’s the point - the hotel won’t rectify the situation….once they have your money then it’s “too bad” for the customer!

It had a ring of smagma around the inside that appeared to be left from the previous 10 guests and had never been cleaned in between!!!! I do not usually post poor reviews or any reviews at all but THIS hotel is beyond disgusting!!!!! There’s definitely more items of nastiness & uncleanliness that I could detail but what’s the point - the hotel won’t rectify the situation….once they have your money then it’s “too bad” for the customer!

They have increased boat parking, but they could use more, and I believe they are working on it. When I was out around my boat at 3:30 AM each morning a staff member came by, I liked that. Good camera coverage of the parking lot. Only hotel I feel safe at when fishing Lake Murray. Not the closest but only a 30-minute drive to state park ramp.

The room we were assigned was absolutely FOUL!!!!! You could actually smell the odor from the room when stood out 10 feet from the open door! The A/C unit was portable & extremely dirty - the wall unit was broke. The bathroom had mold & there were pieces of the ceiling literally hanging down as if mold had eaten through the area. The area the hotel is in is very sketchy!!! Don’t let the pictures fool you - that is NOT the hotel you drive up to!! When we requested a different room or a refund we were informed that since we booked through Expedia there was nothing they could do….the charge would stand!!! The air conditioner did not work. The handle to turn on the shower was not screwed in so it was loose and continued to fall off. One of the lamps did not work. The wash rags and towels were all stained. Some of them a yellowish grey color. There is a ton of mold in the shower. Other than that, overall stay was not terrible. Quite of bit of road noise and with out a working air conditioner I could not drowned out the noise. Love having Waffle House in walking distance.

The price was good, breakfast nice and staff excellent; room condition was my issue. Furniture held together using duct tape at the base from damage; tile base board falling off the wall, toilet seat barely held on with one fastener, drain in shower backs up during shower, windows dirty, door lock broken (inside latch) , carpet was dark, given the condition of the rest of the room, who knows how dirty it was. Sorry for the bad review, but too much deferred maintenance!

The room smelled musty. The floors were slick from moisture from the room not being dehumidified. There was a constant smell outside the room of marijuana. The coffee machine did not work. There were cigarette butts all over the common walkways on the second floor. There are more squawks that could be stated, but you get the idea. This place is a disgrace. AVOID IT!
