Pros: very friendly staff at front desk/reception. Absolutely no complaints there. Breakfast was decent, pretty standard. The lobby/ breakfast area was clean. Shower pressure was nice. Good parking. Close to downtown. Cons: the internet is a joke. Couldn't watch anything because the internet was so bad. Laptop couldn't even load a page. We ended up using a Hotspot which cost me money for something I thought would be provided since the hotel said it had wifi. Also heard folks in the dining area complaining about it too, so not just our room. Room was not clean. Food garbage on the floor from the last guests. Trash under the bed. The shower curtain smelled awful. There were ants swarming a peice of popcorn that we had dropped within about 10 minutes. So gross. The rooms are non smoking but the outside walkway is not. Needed to walk through the smoke to get to our room. Not a terrible thing, just annoying. Most places have designated areas now right? Anyway, won't go there again.

Shower was DISGUSTING. Did not use. Bed was probably 20 years old and I need a chiropractor visit. Sooooo overpriced. Only reason I gave it 2 stars was the lovely girl at the front desk.

It was nice being able to have a place to stay since our other rental backed out at the last minute. Baymont had a room with a King size bed so we booked that and when we got to the room , the king size bed was 2 twin size mattresses pushed together. So there was a large crack in the middle separating me and my husband. LOL Besides that the room was clean along with the property.

The staff was friendly, welcoming, and very helpful throughout my stay. Unfortunately, the condition of the room really impacted my experience. There was a strong cigarette smell, and the room felt very damp, especially the carpet. I even woke up to find that my clothes had become damp overnight. I appreciate how great the staff was, but the smell and excessive moisture in the room made it difficult to feel comfortable. I hope the hotel addresses these issues, as the excellent staff deserves to have the rooms match the quality of their service.
