It is close to town, which is nice. The room smelled so strongly of stale smoke. From the pictures, you can not tell it’s a motel not a hotel. The room in the picture is not what you are getting. The bathroom is very old and outdated. The toilet seat didn’t even sit straight. It’s a place people do long stays. The front staff were super nice. The ice machine didn’t work. The washer didn’t work. Not at all what I thought I was booking.

The room was a little small, but that’s maybe coz we had a king bed, also we sometimes lost phone wifi in the room but the macbook stayed connected. Other than that, everything else was excellent. Nice, updated, very clean and comfortable room, big TV, covered parking right outside our door. Best breakfast of any hotel we’ve been to recently with good selection of food including hot dishes like scrambled eggs, sausage with gravy and chili soup. Location was close to downtown and the beaches. Communication was also great, you could check-in online and text them for any questions or requests even before you arrive. We would definitely stay there again.

Breakfast options average, coffee was excellent. Plumbing in room was reversed, laundry in bldg 2 broken, never fixed, laundry in bldg 1 had hot water supply to both hot/cold option, ice machine non operable in bldg 2, bathroom door scraped floor, hard to open. Light on left side of bed inoperable, soap and shampoo dispenser in shower empty. Room 408. First room given #106 had broken bedframe, no WiFi, no body wash in shower dispenser.

What a great find for a fall color tour weekend. Loved the excellent breakfast and other included food options throughout the day. Plenty of space for me to park my kayak trailer. The covered parking right outside our room was a definite bonus. Fridge, refrigerator AND digital safe in room. The only drawbacks were: room floor probably needs a good mopping, versus just vacuuming. Also, we could hear it very clearly in our room whenever someone used the sink/shower or flushed the toilet in the room above us. Other than those small things - excellent stay with a friendly and helpful staff. We would stay again.

NASTY. DO NOT STAY HERE. SAVE YOURSELF THE MONEY!! Had booked one night to stay here for hubby & I anniversary, the room smelled like bed bugs (look up their smell, you’ll know what I’m talking about), stained blood & who knows what else on the sheets, countertops were nasty, the bathroom wasn’t cleaned there was hair everywhere even in the tub. Front desk was kind, charged us for one dog instead of two. But don’t stay here, it’s nasty. People linger around this building too, weird.

Cleanliness left a lot to be desired. Sheets had stains, tub was clearly not scrubbed thoroughly, phone was FILTHY. Not that we needed to use the phone, but seeing that it clearly hadn't been wiped down in forever made me leary about the cleanliness of other things like light switches and remote. We were given no info at check in we realized later. Wifi? Breakfast? 2025 and no recycling blows my mind every time. Building was in just ok condition and steps going to other building are cracked/hazardous. Smells like smoke outside so I assume ashtrays havent been emptied? Garbage outside was overflowing first day. Overall impression of two different parties this weekend was that it was "sketchy." Overall quiet though and decent location.

The bed was comfortable. I’ll leave that at the beginning as the positive. Visibly dirty bathroom sink. No garbage can in room. Mo hand soap available. Veiling was falling apart. This is a place to stay. Not much beyond that. I wore my sandals every time I walked around the room because nothing felt clean as soon as I saw the dirty faucet and bathroom countertop. I was in a bind for the night and just needed somewhere to sleep. Would not book this for a vacation.

The fan in the bathroom was extremely loud. The water when turned on in the sink was also very loud. The TV was extremely hard to figure out how to use. Had to have someone come to show us how to use it…. And my husband can usually figure them out. He had to get other controllers. Those things made it a disappointing stay.

Place is beat up a little. King bed is 2 twins so after day 2 you're laying in the crease. Tub is old. I don't like to complain but I've stayed here a few times and this time i noticed it & had a really bad experience

Very conveniently located. Pretty good breakfast buffet. Rooms were ok. Definitely needed updates. Especially when there is a timer set light switch for the bathroom. Thought it was weird, no coffee pot in room, but there was an iron and ironing board. Staff was great.

Robert was great(front desk person). Loved the room. Loved the beds. HATED THE TV SYSTEM. Would not stay on live tv. Was 3 hours behind our time in Michigan. Had to have Robert come a help but it switched back to whst it was. FRUSTRATING!!! At Check out my husband mentioned it and the front desk person said EVERYONE complains about the tv. I guess the owners are in California and thats the reason for the 3 hour time difference. We are in Michigan. Love the place but need some changes.

At arrival (10:30pm) we were told by the hotel desk and also the manager that unfortunately they had to cancel our 2 nights reservation because they didn’t have a clean room to offer us. At arrival! They didn’t have an alternative solution either on a weekend where all hotels were sold out. Terrible!

Waited an hour and 15 minutes with about 24 people in line, just to be told our room wasnt cleaned and probably wouldnt be available... this was at 9:25pm. In that time had 2 groups in front of us that got their room, then csme back becuase the room was dirty and hadnt even been cleaned yet. Very poor hospitality. Owner even walked through the crowd to go back to his office during this and didnt apologize or say a word to everyone waiting for their rooms

This hotel overbooked because their maid staff left for the day and none of the rooms were cleaned. Therefore, no rooms were available. There were atleast 20 people waiting in line when I tried to check in and everyone was told there are no rooms because the maid staff left and no rooms available. On top of that, their prices were crazy high for the type of hotel it is.

Your front desk and maintenance person were wonderful. However, the checkin process was hindered by the housekeeping staff not having enough clean and ready rooms. The line to check in at 8pm was at least 15 people deep. No clean rooms meant we all waited. Most people just wanted to check in and get to dinner.

We stayed one week. Although we would call every morning to remind them to clean our room, they typically just left clean towels. No hangers on the “closet” bar - just a 2’ bar in the bathroom. The bathroom door was warped and didn’t close. The bathroom light was on a timer and the noisy fan would run at the same time. The internet was spotty at best—-tv shows would continually buffer and eventually stop working completely.

The staff was amazing and highly responsive. We arrived earlier than expected, and they were able to accommodate our earlier arrival. They made sure we had everything we needed. The texting communication was great as well. The room was in excellent condition and we had a really great day.

Talked to front desk to let them know it would be extremely late before we could check in. My three day stay was already paid for, a month plus in advance. I was assured that because the stay was already paid for additionally to the call it would not be a big deal. We had an incident didn’t make it to the hotel until 7am Friday morning. When I arrived I was told that not only was my account charged for a late fee and a no call no show, but the additional day I had reserved was booked out and I had nowhere to stay. After around 20 minutes or arguing I was made to go get my phone from the car to “prove” I called because I didn’t get a name. When I showed clerk the phone number she stated “well that’s not our number”. I then called the number, as soon as I did her phone rang. After this incident she magically found us a room. I find this COMPLETELY unacceptable and unprofessional. My best friend is a local physician at the hospital it was his wedding, I was the best man. This almost spoiled my entire trip. I will never be using this hotel again. LASTLY I had to cancel my Saturday night reservation which was done almost a week early. I still have not received a refund which is also unacceptable.

The room had a decent price structure with a good breakfast daily. It also had Chili available during the day and early evening. Nice clean room that had a finicky cable tv. Would shut off on its own many times. The location is good for traveling the area but being close to 2 roads and the hilly features make road noise an issue. I took to running the fan all night to drown it out. Bottom line is I would stay there again at the prevailing prices.

Overall summary: If you are looking for a place to crash for the night, this is a good option. If you're looking for a more relaxing vacation experience, I would look at another option. Pros: The staff were extremely friendly. The breakfast was very good. Hot scrambled eggs, sausage, breakfast potatoes, chili, biscuits & gravy, plus yogurt, toast, waffles. I would consider it a hot breakfast, not a continental breakfast. There was also chili available for 'snacks' in the evening. Lots of places for charging cords. The mini fridge was great. It was the extra tall type that has a freezer inside of it. We were able to keep our cooler ice paks frozen and all of our food cold with no issues. There was also a microwave, which was great for reheating some leftovers when we were too tired to go out. Cons: We were there for three nights and the room didn't get cleaned once. I don't mind not having the linens changed every night, but it would have been nice if the trash had been taken out at least. There was also pet kibble on the floor in our bathroom that remained the entire time we were there that was from a previous tenant (another indicator that the room wasn't cleaned). The breakfast is only from 6-8, which is not very leisurely vacation friendly. There isn't really a place on the grounds to relax. The drains in the sink and the bathtub didn't drain very well, so you ended up standing in water if you tried to shower. The tv remote did not work well with the tv.

Where to begin? Good breakfast in the room adjacent to registration, though selection was limited, and that room would have been hard to reach in bad weather. Staff was friendly and tried to be helpful, but wasn't able to help with several basic requests, for instance, erratic and limited television service, not including any streaming options such as Netflix, and no in-room telephone. The location was extremely noisy pretty much nonstop. We had no room service during our three-day stay, and when we asked for a clean hand towel and washcloth, the non-English-speaking staff didn't understand and pointed toward the office (which was up a long flight of outdoor stairs and about 40 yards further through the parking lot). Several items in the room were irritating, such as an extremely loud whistling sound from the faucet, a loud, rumbling ceiling fan in the bathroom, and a toilet that hadn't been properly cleaned in perhaps years. Water softener salt bags were stacked in a walkway, apparently unused, because the water was very hard. If we had been paying $75/night, I wouldn't have had higher expectations, but our three-night stay ran $643. My expectations were based on the Wyndham name. Don't be fooled. This is not a typical Wyndham facility, and not a 2-star hotel.

Property was dirty and unkept. The bed had no top sheet just a comforter. The continental breakfast was horrible. The waffle maker had years of crud on it. They had no fresh fruit options. The powder eggs and sausage were definitely not up to par either. We stayed at this same place years ago and had a great experience that’s why we booked it again. Needless to say we won’t be back again.
