The room was clean and quiet. The water was hot at the bathroom sink but only lukewarm in the shower. Fixtures were updated. A lot of the hotel was under construction. The first floor ice machine was broken. Only one elevator was operational. Check in was right next to an automatic opening door which kept opening and closing while we were checking in. Breakfast was the best we have had at a hotel.

When i booked my room i was unaware the hotels pool was under construction. Then when i checked in I again was not told the pool was under construction. So when i went to check out the pool I was not happy to see it not working. When i went to address this with management they said it was posted on the website. Well not everyone books thru the website like me so i had no idea. I explained that and wanted my money back. He then told me they had a contracted with anytime fitness pool across town. I said that is not convient as it is winter. I am not happy with this holiday inn which is privately owned and will never be returning.

Seems like the hotel is undergoing some renovations. There were piles of laminate flooring boxes near the back entrance door and near the spa. The pool has a maximum depth of 3 feet 6 inches so not really suitable for swimming. The hot tub was not very hot but still enough to enjoy a soaking. The rooms and facilities were very clean. The free breakfast had enough options to make a full meal. All in all a very nice hotel.

When we arrived they said cable was out and they were working on it, only to find out it hadnt worked for days. The hot tub was also out of order and been for weeks, the room temp in the pool area was set at 60 degrees. So much for a relaxing weekend away with the kids.

Never fails, they have the most comfortable beds and bedding of any place we've ever stayed!! Only wish the pool wasn't under construction, we were not told of this ahead of time unfortunately.

Hotel needs to be updated, hall carpeting has many areas that carpet is lifting(trip hazard). Nice breakfast room, good complimentary breakfast. However many of the chairs have food stains on them.

The hotel was going through some remodeling and need to keep the construction debris to areas being worked on and clean areas that need to be used by their guests. The rooms were spacious and clean and quite which was all we really needed for our 3 night stay. the breakfast was one of the best I have ever had and I do a lot of traveling for work around the USA. Once the remodeling is complete, this will be one of the best places to stay.

Our room smelled of mold and mildew. There was mildew on the wall under the sink in the bathroom. The breakfast options were disappointing, and were either cheap substitutes, or were designed for those in poor health. Chicken sausage, egg white omelettes, etc. I did enjoy being the only person in the pool and hot tub, or should I say "warm" tub. Staff were friendly and helpful, location was great, but we expected better overall from Holiday Inn.

The pool and hot tub were not freezing and unable to be used, the breakfast was closed a 1/2 hour early, the elevator and rooms were dirty. We could sleep, watch tv, and that’s about it.

This was a decent stay for the money. Had everything a person would need. Decent breakfast, clean rooms, pool and hot tub. Check-in was easy, host was super nice and friendly. parking was easy. This hotel is right by the Arboretum which was great. The room smelled a little like weed when we arrived, but we were able to open the window and air it out. The facility appeared to be undergoing some renovations. I’d stay again.

We are checking hotels near Chanhassen dinner theater as our daughter is getting married June 2025. Loved the hot water showers!! Our view sucked...brick wall. I plan on a block of 20-25 rooms for family snd friends. But your breakfast area is way to small. 5 tables and all full We took ours back to our room. Staff was very pleasant.

The beds were comfortable. My wife thought the air conditioner was noisy. The TV was not easy to use. There was no on-screen guide to channels and programs, and the printed list of station was incorrect on several stations. There was no rhyme or reason to the order that the stations were in when searching up or down the channels.

The staff was incredible and helpful. We had called ahead to advise we would indeed be arriving but very very late. Ended up with a 303 AM arrival. Front desk was ready and checked us in immediately 😊 Great stay!

Quiet, clean great breakfast. Desk staff could not tell me how to reach front desk via desk phone in room I wanted to contact desk with an internet question (could not connect). Had to physically go to front desk. Staff told me he did not know how a guest reached front desk via room phone. Staff contact would not give me his name, very unfriendly even though he did get me connected to the internet.

I called ahead and asked for early check-in. The front desk person asked me to hold and never came back to the phone. I called back and she confirmed I could check in early. I was going to a wedding and needed to get ready, so being able to check in early was important. When we checked in, we were given a room that was in the midst of being cleaned. Thankfully, another family member allowed us to use their room to get ready, but it was a massive inconvenience to them and to us, as we then had to repack everything to bring to our room once it was ready. The front desk agent appeared to be high or something, because when we saw her to discuss our room not being ready, she didn't even remember having checked us in literally five minutes earlier. The TVs weren't working due to some issue causing the hotel to have bad reception or something, and the whole building was under construction, so 60% of the parking spots were occupied by construction trailers and equipment.

Breakfast is just ok. Staff not very Pleasant upon arrival. I made a mistake when booking and they did not even try working with me. We stay here 2-3 times a year and the remainder dealing has been going for at least 2 years. Tired of construction material all over the place.

The only thing we couldn't understand is that there was one person at the desk during check-in. If check-in time is at 3:00 then put two at the front desk to assist with answering the phone... checking people in... answering questions from people already checked in. I expected better from Holiday Inn.

It was very nice in an average way. They had a nice breakfast bar, but we were surprised to learn that it was an additional price, pay as you go - either for the entire buffet or as an individual priced order. The location wasn’t perfect for us and seemed a little off trail, but it worked for our needs.

The hotel is very well maintained, and the staff is really courteous. I must commend the management for the quality of the breakfast. For us, visiting family and friends is the perfect location - everything is withing 15-20 minutes drive.
