We picked this hotel for a 1 night stay, just about a week before we arrived. Remember this. We had a 5 hour drive to get there, and I was looking forward to the hot tub, and perhaps pool. But when we got there, the clerk said the pool and hot tub were closed for repairs. The next morning I asked how long they had been closed, and why it wasn't listed online. The clerk said they'd been closed for AT LEAST 1 YEAR! And, yes, they had updated the online info everywhere. So, I went back in, and after seeing about a dozen mentions of "pool and hot tub", I saw, near the very bottom of their info, a facility update, or something. It said the pool was closed from May-June 2023. And, when I looked in, I could tell it had been awhile. I'm disappointed it wasn't mentioned more prominently on this website, and if it really h/b closed for A YEAR, perhaps you take it off your listing completely. IDK why it has taken a year, but saying "May-June 2023" is misleading for future guests who might want to stay in July, August or beyond. I can guarantee it won't be ready July 1. PS. a nearby hotel does have a working pool and hot tub.

Clean Rooms Beds were comfortable. Hot Breakfast was great. The big negative here is that for the 2nd year (Yes, May of 2022 the pool and hot tub were not available either!) of staying there the pool and hot tub were non operational. The pool itself was drained and had tables and chairs in it. Had I been aware ahead of time about the Pool/Hot tub i would have elected to stay elsewhere.

It was very disappointing that we were not told that the pool and hot tub were closed. That was the reason we choose that motel so our kids could use the pool and we could use the hot tub. We wouldn’t have booked it knowing this.

Lobby and room was nice. Nice selection for breakfast Parking a bit of a challenge. We parked across the street. Most disappointing was the fitness center which is important to us. No tv remote, no clean towels, no water in cooler, nothing to sanitize, very dirty.

Hotel is easy to get to. Checkin was easy. Room was clean. Can hear people upstairs and in hallways quite a bit. Clean. Comfy bed. Would return for price. Breakfast was decent. Fitness center could use some cleaning and help. The chair on the bike is completely broken. Unfortunately it snowed while I was here and someone plowed the Aldi parking lot right next door from 3-4am…super loud and annoying.

It was easy checking in and checking out. I enjoyed the hot breakfast. I was very disappointed that the hotel pool and hot tub were closed. That was the reason I booked there and not another hotel. The price should have been discounted for the lack of amenities available.

This hotel was Terrible. Dirty with bugs, wet spots on the carpeted floor and dirty bathroom floor. I would have left but I was in a hurry to make it to an event so has no choice. So gross! I told the person at the front desk and he said ‘thanks for telling me’. Do not stay here. Unless you care only about the water pressure. Water pressure in the shower was good.

We ran in to put the stuff up then went out eat so we didn’t check the room. Came in after dinner the bed sheets was dirty with dirt foot prints. Looked like they didn’t clean the sheets, towels had holes in them. The pull out had holes also and strong smell of urine. We went to Walmart and bought everything. Even brought to their attention, still haven’t gotten a response. Our stay a negative Experience.

This hotel needs some love and management. Check in was fine but the gentleman at the desk was in a dirty shirt. Our room had fabric worn furniture and torn curtains. The free breakfast was actually decent and there was a variety of items. Overall there just appears to be a lack of attention to detail culture. I had to ask the front desk to have the breakfast area trash containers emptied as all were full. We stayed at this hotel last year and don’t remember these issues at that time. Parking is plentiful and the area is safe and access to shopping and restaurants is great. The price is fair for the service but we won’t be back

Especially loved the bedding! Our mattresses were like brand new and sleep was easy to come by. Room was very quiet also. When I went downstairs for breakfast they had ran out of hashbrowns and scrambled eggs, so that was disappointing and the main floor ice machine was broken.

The room was clean, and huge. There was a minor stains in the tub, but tub and shower were wiped down with cleaning spray. There was more then enough room for myself and my significant other. The bed was comfy, although the sheets were pulled tight on it, was difficult pulling them down when it was time to go to sleep. Another minor issues was the master bedroom window was open about a 1 inch crack and could not be closed. A blanket was used to fill in the gap due to the temperatures outside

The hotel is outdated and needs to be refreshed throughout. The TV was smaller. The furniture was worn particle board. Our refrigerator was frozen up and not working when we arrived, the maintenance guy had to come pick it up and take it outside to thaw, upon return it stayed “cool” inside. I realize that is was during the Schwann’s Cup tournament, but the room was no where near what the quality of a room that costs $160.00 on a Tuesday night should be.

It was very clean. The breakfast was good. We would stay here again. We did not like the way they did their tv. They had a fire stick and you had to download your own personal streaming services for your stay. Their WiFi did not support this method! We had very poor tv quality for our whole stay. Thankfully we were only there for a short time each night.

I booked through Expedia and pre paid. The staff at the hotel charged me 3 times for my stay! They say they credited my account, but there is no record of them doing so. I am owed $1115. Room had weird stains with human hair stuck to the wall. Curtains were torn. Very unpleasant experience

We checked into our hotel after 3 am. They said they cancelled our booking through hotels.com and we needed to rebook and repay for the night essentially causing us to pay for the same night twice. We booked for two nights Friday, Saturday and check out sunday, initially. When we arrived at the hotell, we told the guy at the front desk to extend our nights to three nights. He said, I am taking care of that right away and you are confirmed for three nights, check out is now Monday morning. To our surprised, our room phone ranked at 2:20 pm on sundyay to vacate the room or police will be called to engage us. And truly, police came but they refused to listen to us and we go pushed out . I will not recommend anyone staying at thiis hotel for their customer services are bad.

I booked a stay for my wife, and I paid through Hotels.com. The hotel took my wife’s card for “incidentals” but proceeded to charge her for the whole night. They are unwilling to help, giving us the run around about talking to a manager that apparently only works once a month. We called Wyndham’s customer service and they said only the hotel can help us. Incredibly frustrating and disappointing, we probably won’t be using hotels.com or going to a Wyndham hotel again.

Such a perfect location for our needs. We stayed one night before leaving the area for a couple of days. Then we came back for several days. This hotel was central to all of our places we were visiting. Plus there was a huge shopping area adjacent so we could easily get anything we needed. Room was clean, quiet and very comfortable. We highly recommend the Broadway pizza across the street! Thanks to the front desk clerk for that recommendation!!

Nothing fancy, but it is clean and comfortable. Easy access to the highway, multiple shops and restaurants within minutes of driving. They have breakfasts, but very little variety and not the greatest, but they have a waffle machine and cereals for the kids. Beds are confortable but pillows are a hit or missed…third time we staying at the Wingate as it is close to our family in Anoka. Much better than the hotel that is next to it (forgot the name)

It really was a nice stay. Room was clean. Just a couple odd things. I think the refrigerator in the room maybe had a compressor issue. It just ran & ran - a very weird sound like Darth Vader breathing - lol. It didn't keep me awake but strange. Another thing I noticed was there were hangers above the bed but no picture - very empty big wall. Other than no forks at breakfast - really, none?! Made do w/ spoons. Just a couple things to work on.

The breakfast buffet was outstanding. Beyond the expected waffle machine, there were egg dishes, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, cereals, milk, juices, tea, hot chocolate, and coffee. An assortment of pastries, muffins, bagels, toast, etc. Different options every day. Really wonderful. Super nice exercise room, pool and hot tub. Really nice staff. Had a great visit. Will return next time we're in town!
