Residence Inn Minneapolis Downtown/City Center

There were two maintenance issues in my bathroom. The ceiling fan was hanging from the ceiling making a loud noise. The sink faucet was not secured properly and spun from side to side. On the my first full day, housekeeping attempted to enter my room without knocking. I had the security latch enabled preventing the staff member from entering. The housekeeper quickly walked away from the room trying to avoid my questions. I am concerned that had I not been in the room, my belonging might have been compromised. I spoke with the front desk and manager on duty. I was promised a follow-up after they spoke with staff. When I returned to the hotel, the front desk worker informed me that the housekeeper entered the wrong room, stating it was a case of wrong floor. It is disappointing that the manager sent the front desk to respond instead of doing this themselves. The hotel is in a great location and mostly in good repair. There are starting to be some noticeable repair issues that will need to be addressed in the near future. There is a good amount of street noise that can be heard in the room, notable if you are a light sleeper.

Clean, quiet, spacious, and extra cozy beds in the two bedroom suite. It was perfect for our needs; we were attending a concert nearby at the Armory that we brought our teenage daughters and one of their friends to. The pull-out sofa was comfortable, though an extra pillow and cozier comforter would have been a nice touch in the bedding box for that. Breakfast and parking were both great and the staff very friendly and accommodating.

Room was amazing! Very spacious and had all the amenities you could think of!
