We were given all options at breakfast that fit our needs. Well kept, fully stocked, very clean and setup perfectly. Staff is so friendly every time we go. Parking worked very well for us. Room was very clean and setup up with everything we needed. Keep up the good work.

This hotel was cleaner and in better condition than most in this price range. The only thing that didn't seem clean was the cord on the hair dryer (a lot of house keepers seem to never notice that in hotel). The only negative comment I have is that the hotel smelled stale and musty in the common areas but a lot of small and mid-range places seem to.

Not pleased with our stay at all. Room smelled very musty and moldy. Carpet was so dirty my feet stuck to it. The bed was old, poor quality and rock hard. My whole body ached sleeping on it. Continental breakfast was awful. Dry poor quality pastries. Went out 3 tomes to get coffee and everytime it was empty. Told front desk 3 times it needed filling. I will never stay here again.

Friendly staff. Good breakfast overall. Milk was out of date but staff replaced once told. Room was himid at 64 degrees when we arrived. Fridge was vibrating in the wooden enclosure all night. Bed was not a queen. Shower went cold quickly. We arrived late and left early but the staff was great and it was no hassle to check in or out. Overall I would stay agin but I know what I am paying for now. A place to only sleep.

A one/night stay.. granted it was a Sat night… however $240 a night in Red Wing, Mn, is about $140 too much.. reserved a room with King bed.. had a room with two doubles… TV was the size of a postcard.. remote didn’t work in the limited TV station options. No one at the desk upon check/in until we entered the office back room. No signage to the check/in door. Full/size ironing board leaning against the wall under the open clothing rack.. Weird that this is the only hotel that came up on Hotels.com… however, we did see other “known” hotels within the area of this hotel. Wondering what this hotel is doing to be listed as the Only hotel in Red Wing?

We had a room end of hall by vending machines. Besides our fridge, the humming from those machines, traffic on Hwy 61, and uncomfortable pillows, got very little sleep. Price was good, brkfst was the usual hotel brkfst - good, bed itself was comfortable. We felt it was ok.

Beds were awful, the air conditioning ran and kept it cool but did not remove any moisture, everything felt damp. the floor, the bed the towels. it was gross For $155/night average we will not stay again

It took about 10 minutes upon checking in for someone to appear at the front desk. There was no buzzer or bell to ring for someone. Otherwise the stay was very good.

There are many good things about the nickels in in Red Wing. It is reasonable, clean, and the people who work there are very nice. Unfortunately, they manage two hotels that are right next-door to each other. And so there was often not anyone at the front desk when you come to check in or have a question because they run back-and-forth between the two hotels and you have to call a phone number. And with the front door wide open during most of the day, it’s also kind of a security issue.

If you’re just needing a place to stay and explore Red Wing this is an excellent place to stay. You can walk to a couple of great restaurants/bars. The downtown is just a 5min drive.

Finding the hotel was a challenge. Need better markings on the road. The breakfast was good but people were confused with the egg cups in the refrigerator and one person put their egg in the waffle iron instead of the flat iron farther down the counter. They had "build your omelet", so after you poured the egg on the flat round grill, you scooped cheese, ham or sausage onto it and close the grill. It took a while to cook so people were backed up. They did have boiled eggs, yogurt, make your own waffle, breads and cereal with milk too. Accommodations were excellent. Staff wonderful.

The "free" breakfast was terrible. No fruit, including OJ. Out of yogurt. All pastries were a chocolate muffin. They even ran out of instant oatmeal! As far as I could tell, no one was looking after the breakfast offerings whatsoever. Perhaps because they were so meager, no one had to!

Staff very pleasant and helpful. Lobby, halls and room very clean and well maintained. I enjoyed the breakfast options. My wife has a wheat alergy. She wished for some glutten free options like cherrios and more fruit. Maybe a gf muffin? Over all this hotel is affordable and well staffed.

The rooms were really clean. Good breakfast in the morning as well, but it took awhile to have breakfast as nobody made sure it remained stocked. I watched a few people go get someone to replace stuff. When we checked in we got no information about check out time or anything.
