Room was clean but rough. Tub has stains. Fridge has dents . Outside was a lot of traffic like drug dealings happening. Hundreds of cigarette butts and trash just outside our door. I checked a dozen times to make sure our car wasn’t stolen. Our door closed and locked and still I could easily see light through a large gap between door and frame. Parking lot at times had a car with two people just sitting there car running with lights on. When I opened our room door to look out it appeared to make the cars people nervous and they would leave only to come back later and do the same car running with the two inside again. We did not feel safe. I would definitely not recommend a stay at this motel to anyone. The online site looked like a nice place so I booked the room but once we arrived at the room I knew why the room was $70.

Sign in the lobby advised guests they only had 30 minutes from check in time to cancel their reservation, so that must happen a lot. Because I didn’t get the insurance, Expedia would not refund our money, so we lost hundreds of dollars. Everyone should beware of both this hotel and Expedia.

I have NEVER been disappointed in a hotel I’ve stayed at before. I usually think of hotels as a little vacation away from home. Usually I enjoy them. Good thing this wasn’t my first hotel experience because I would have NEVER went to a hotel again. This place is LOUD , sketchy, not the cleanest, I don’t feel safe in this area AT ALL. I’ve stayed at other hotels within Belton - no issues. I figured I might save a buck and see what this one was like. I will gladly pay HUNDREDS of extra dollars a night to NEVER return to this hotel again. 1. People next door smoking weed in there room coughing so loud and stinking up the entire hotel. And they WOULD NOT STOP BEING LOUD!!! 2. Broken lamps- 3. Fridge and microwave looked so gross I didn’t even touch them. 4. Outdoors is like a freaking block party once the sun goes down it gets SOO MUCH WORSE ( I would not EVER bring children around here ) … EVER!!! 5. I would LOVE a refund. But that won’t happen. Should have read the reviews - that’s my bad. This place fooled me once- Won’t happen again.

First no one was at the front desk and took forever for a response when I rang the bell. Second, the room was disgusting. Dead bugs in the room, flies, the wall by the bathroom was warped and moldy and definitely smelled like smoke. Also the sheets were stained,definitely slept on top of the blankets. Third, they were doing some kind of work on the room next to me at 8 pm. The laundry and ice facility was in shambles and breakfast wasn't out and ready when we left at 7:30 am.

I liked the location relative to the interstate. It ends there. The staff spoke minimal English, there were blood stains on the floor, bugs in the beds, the shower/tub was grimy. All the wall plugs were a bit sticky as well. Also, some might see the constant police presence as a good thing. No, that’s because there’s drug use and prostitution at this place. There are other options at this price that are so much better. There’s even cheaper options that would’ve been better. I can’t recommend this location in good faith to anyone. Also, the pool is permanently closed.

I have stayed at this hotel several years ago and while it is an economy hotel, at least it was clean. I can’t say the same about this stay. The bathroom floor, though mopped earlier in the day, was dirty. An attempt had been made to clean the mirror but it was so streaked that I had to dampen a washcloth and wipe it to be able to see myself clearly. One bright spot was that the bed was reasonably comfortable. Breakfast was supposed to be 6 to 9 AM, but when I went just before 7 AM nothing was available. The clerk was just beginning to set up. The chairs were still upside down on the tables. The next time I’m in Belton, I’ll stay somewhere else.

This was a disgusting hotel. Non-Smoking room that REEKED of cigarette smoke. Lamp shales missing. Bathroom was filthy. Entry door had a gap so big any rodent could’ve got in. Holes in the bathroom wall and also the hotel room. I can’t believe this has a national affiliation of any kind. I’m guessing they’re allowing many monthly stays.

Mold in bathroom

There were bugs in one of the beds and on a sticky trap in the room. Dresser was literally falling apart. Half patched holes in the walls. Not worth more than $50 a night and only then if you’re desperate.

From the start, the front desk clerk was rude. When got to the room we had several cockroaches waiting to greet us. The carpet was dirty. One wall had blood smeared on it. The dresser was busted. The toilet was not clean. There were small beetles beached on the edge of the toilet. The sink was cracked leaked water at the base. The was loud music from three opposing directions. We left early. When we told the clerk of the issues he said "Okay, no problem" repeatedly as pointed to a poster draped over the desk as he insisted that I scan some QR code for points so I could stay there again. There is ZERO chance that I would do that. This app will not allow me to upload the photos that I have.

The air filters in the ac were almost clogged solid and one bed had 12 different dirty marks on it and a long random hair on it the other bed appeared clean and i washed out the air filter and put them back in the unit

There was trash on the property and the shower in the room didn't have any water coming out of it at all not to mention there was a bug in the bed that crawled on me it was disgusting.

Checked in at 3PM, the room wasn't ready, would be an hour. These things happen. Room was clean enough but it did not look like the photos online, much older and worn out. The toilet took 20 minutes to flush again, refrigerator was broken, the bed was big but very hard. No coffee in room and the breakfast option was cereal. The door lock didn't work. Didn't feel safe there, wont stay again.

I didnt like anything at this motel. Tub was dirty, coukdnt connect to wifi, reserved a smoking room but didnt get one. The people were rude and could hardly understand what they said. Got locked out of our room cause keycard didnt work. And they charged me 55 for first night and 65 for second night. Wont ever go there again

The room smelled terrible like cigarettes smoke. The walls had gray plaster on them to fill in holes where towel racks had been previously. They were not sanded or repainted over. The beds were hard as a rock. The walls are paper thin, you can hear people in the next room plain as day.

Bed Bugs. No tv in the room. microwave and refrigerator didn't work. Sometime after midnight, one of the neighbors kept banging on the others doors for 30 minutes.

Room door wasnt secure and latched on arrival. Broken door on chest in room. Had to hold handle down for toilet to flush.

First time we've stayed at an Econo Lodge. Appreciate the fact that you can park right outside your door. Was really disappointed that a Non-Smoking room smelled like cigarette smoke. And not just a slight odor. It was very prominent. If it was previously a smoking room they need to do something more to remove the odor. Very noticeable and disgusting to a non-smoker nose.

Bed was semi comfortable and squeaked everytime I moved. Tv barely worked. Lots of yelling from other rooms.

Well you would have thought it was by the hours motel. Our riom. NON smoking smelled like a 2 pack a day smoker was there thr hour prior to our arrival No tv, the toilet had intermittently running water (ran twice) show well lets say you had to jump around to get wet. .

Arrived @ 9:30 pm with confirmed reservation. Rudely told by snotty clerk as I walked into lobby “No room”. I said I have a confirmed reservation. He replied “ All rooms sold, your reservation canceled. No offer to assist with another room elsewhere, no apologies, nothing. Ancient two story , exterior room doors, Bates hotel with Criminsl minds overtones! Creepy clerk, No service! Listing on Expedia totally misleading!!!

On checking I was informed I would owe an extra $50 personal deposit $100 pet deposit $30 pet fee )on top of the one already paid to Expedia $180 in fees on top of what I already paid!! When I informed them I would be notifying you to they decided they could reduce it just the extra pet fee ($30) but then said you all were holding the deposits & there was nothing they could do! The room stunk of cigarettes & there were chunks of dried mud on the floor Definitely not recommended

When I pulled around 6:30pm. Parking lot was empty maybe three cars,once I mentioned that I had a service animal and papers in hand for her..he asked to see my ID and then says no rooms available for service animal, okay I advised I booked 3rd party, I'm going to be refunded ASAP.. 3 days later no refund and the property will not answer the phone for Hotels.com....

My stay was just ok. Had problems with my key not working and no one at front desk available. Other than that everything was fine.

This is the worst hotel ive seen in my life. Very dirty. The amount they charge it should look better. We didnt stay we luckily got another hotel. We wasnt even in there a 1 hour and left. Staff was VERY unprofessional!! You have to ring the bell for service because nobody is sitting at the front desk!! Rooms say no smoking you walk in smells like cigarettes. We had no phone in our room & the fire dector was cover with a bag.

We have two dogs. Web site stated a $10 per dog fee. When we arrived the fee was stated as $20 per dog. The desk attendant said he would only accept $15 per dog.

Run down motel with eerie presence. The room looked liked it was redone but the door looked lime it was kicked in several times. The latch lock was hanging from the door. There was insects running across the floor. Gentleman in the office was really nice and underatanding. We chose not to stay due to poor quality and safety. There was a document on the wall labeling the motel as a tier 2 out of 3, due to number of police calls were reported to the motel.

The check in process was great and the staff was very polite and friendly. Once I received my room key I drove to the back and was actually scared to take my 2 kiddos to the room. Extremely sketchy and lots of questionable people out on the balcony. Blinking property lights. We just left and didn’t care about a refund.

I was in town for a family event and so I stayed only needed to stay one night. I was in Room 116 Positives: bed sheets were clean, mattress was comfortable, bathroom sink, and toilet was clean. Had amenities (hair dryer, refrigerator but since I did not use these, I don't know if there were any problems. TV worked. No mold on shower curtain. Old chain locks but they worked. Heater AC worked. Negatives Breakfast poor Walls: thin. I heard the next-door neighbor coughing so well that it sounded like he or she was in my room. Pillowcases: One of the 3 pillowcases had yellow stains on it, but it smelled clean. Bathtub: was not inviting. It had a wide bathtub ring of old dirt on it, so I never used it. Shower curtain; old, torn, unclean. Smells: noticeable odd smell in the bathroom, not sure what it was. The whole room smelled like old cigarette butts. This was a non-smoking room. I am sensitive to smoke and did get nasal congestion and eye irritation from the smell. Bugs: 2 tiny bugs (I killed) In the bathroom, on the floor by the edge of the tub. No further bugs seen. Curtains: old and torn a bit did not want to close completely. That left me feeling unsecure. Suggest Use a soap scum cleaner for the tub or Replace tub and shower curtain. Replace inside drape. Replace chain lock with more secure bolt lock. Hire a company that deals with smoke from house fires. They have the ability to get rid of smoke and make the rooms smell like there was never a smoke problem.
