Baymont by Wyndham Osage Beach

Needs a lot of maintenance. Outside pool was out of service. Small tv. Bathtub wouldn’t drain. Sink had a trickle of water. Ice machine down in second building.

We stayed for one week. Outdoor pool was closed for repair prior to arrival and this was not disclosed. TV was broken and no repairs. Breakfast was fine. Sauna was closed. Some outlets non-working; no repairs.

Room was alright.. staff was polite. Hot tub was down for repair. Indoor pool has peeling paint at the water level and is not heated. ( water was too cold to swim. ) At breakfast we got a glass of orange juice & apple juice.. both juices had dead fruit flies floating in them. I booked the room for my grandson's 19th birthday.. He was disappointed.

The outdoor pool is dry, indoor pool is broke. Ice machine in office area was the only one that worked. The staff were nice and helpful but the facility needs repair. Very few people stayed there during our two nights. Seems low numbers for middle of summer vacation time in a lake vacation town.

On first appearance, the parking lot had trash, dirty black socks, lighters, and more trash all around the parking lot. The outside pool was shut down and not working. Just one of the reasons we picked this place was the outside pool. Upon checking out the inside, the hot tub was also not working. The sauna looked disgusting and the wood was stained (there are cleaners and wood protection for saunas), we never tried to see if it worked. The inside pool was ok. The other reason we chose this motel was the included breakfast. Again, that was terrible. For 5 days it was cold every morning. Even after cooking it, the precooked sausage was cold in the middle and the eggs were always cold. I spoke to the receptionist and he cooked fresh stuff one day and we got it as soon as it hit the line. After we told our other guests there was hot food for once, it was cold as soon as they came down. The heating devices were set at 135°, definitely not warm enough to keep food warm for 3hrs. Biscuits were kept in a plastic container which held the once warm Biscuits before the condensation kicked in on them. Sausage gravey served twice the entire week. Once it was cold as ice, the other ran out at 0845. Just an awful experience in which we will never book here again.

Hot tub out of service, same as pool . When told that these 2 accomodations is what also drew me to reserve room the receptionist said well it is out of service but if you want you can use it. Knowing it wasn't allowed. Of coarse grandchildren did and water was way to cold. Not useable. The lady at front desk approached my 16 yr old grandson asking him if he had connection on getting weed for her. We also came back to our room from an outing and are room door was open. Someone with key card had to of done it which would have only been one of the staffs. And of coarse that was denied. It was noticeably opened. Anyone could have just walked in. We made sure the door to our RM was secured before leaving. No one on that staff ever came to us asking if we needed cleaned linen or towels. I had to ask for them and toilet tissue. No providing of room service or asked if we would like room service cleaning while during or stay. I reserved this RM for my daughter and grandchildren. When I went to visit them, I have a service dog, the lady on the phone, when I put in complaints tells me that my dog was not allowed and was not on reservation. Of coarse not, the stay was for once again my Daughter and grandchildren. I explained to her about my dog was my service dog and she told me still it wasn't allowed and that because of me bringing it to the room while on a visit with them it would possibly taken off my card off 500.00. No call backs from owner.

No elevators, so avoid 2nd floor. First room had loud dog(s) next door, front desk moved us to much quieter room with no delay. Beds and bedding were comfortable. Breakfast ok but attendant was sloppy and uncommunicative. Didn't use indoor pool because it had bugs and other stuff floating in it. Outdoor pool looked run-down enough we didn't bother to look at it seriously.

Front desk staff was awesome. Pool water was to cold to swim in and was a disappointment.

I liked the indoor and outdoor pools.....but they really did not clean the pool area outside. We were there for 4 days and the same trash and dirty towels were still there from day 1.

The carpet smells horrible and the bathtub is too old. The mattres is way over its days.

Upon arrival we noticed the pool area was in terrible shape. Looks like it has been out of order for more than a year. Main reason we stayed there was the pool. The pictures online are dated. The entire hotel is filthy. Flower boxs are filled with cigarette butts and trash. Weeds are overgrown EVERYWHERE! The main door to our building didn't close all the way, therefore anyone could come and go. There is a broken down couch in the building that belongs in a landfill it is so terrible. Upon entering our room I immediately checked our beds and sure enough the sheets were wrinkled and had stains all over them. I immediately asked for fresh sheets. There was toothpaste spit all over the mirror and sink still. The tv does not work. There is no wifi. There are only two pillows on each bed which are so gross. They are deformed and very hard. I asked for more and was told they only had two extra pillows they could give. The pictures show the beds with four pillows. We paid for queen beds, but they are double beds. There is dirt in every corner. These rooms do not get cleaned at all. I cried knowing there was nothing I could do at this point. I cringed knowing my toddler would be touching everything in her sight. I wish there was a way to get my money back. These rooms are not worth $105 a night. Not even $50. I'm so mad they are allowed to advertise this place with old photos.

This place is very rundown. The first thing we noticed was the smell. The room was dark as some lights didn’t work. There was a nasty stain on the footstool. Also some crud on the wall. The bathroom was terrible with very dim lights and dirty fixtures. Marker on the mirror, peeling paint, wobbly toilet, etc…. The only good part was the water pressure was great. Definitely won’t stay here again.

It was dirty inside and out. The bathrooms were nasty, (the public one and the one on the room) I couldn’t even take a shower. The door we used to get in and out of the building didn’t lock so there was no need to use the hotel key unless we were going to the room. I booked for 3 nights (Aug. 1-4) and only stayed 1. I’m still waiting for my refund. According to the app it states that I stayed all 3 nights

People living in their car outside. Place is very run down. The building smelled like a pet store. Room also had the odor. Room was not clean and hair on the comforters.

The mattress was stained, there was blood on the sheets and mattress cover, when I reached out to the front desk for clean linen, I was asked to come get the linen which I understand it was breakfast time. I was then asked to bring back the linen to the front desk which I was in the understanding that housekeeping would have picked up the linen. The hallway has a strange odor to it can't quit put my finger on what the smell was. The room smelled nice but seemed as though they were trying to cover up a smell in the room.

Upon check in the area around the parking lot was trashy. The bedroom was 77 degrees when we checked in. It was hot. The phone didn’t work to call so we pushed it down to 61 which was the lowest you could turn it. If it wasn’t 930pm and getting in after a long drive I would have got another room. After about 2 hours it cooled off some but didn’t keep up anll night long. Also there was a used dirty towel hanging on the backside of the bathroom door. Breakfast goes until 930am and there were hardly any eggs no biscuits and 2 pieces of sausage left. Place was on the trashy side which is sad because usually Baymonts are normally nicer. We will not be back

Halls snelled awful, black mold all over the a/c vents. Tissue holder was broke and disgusting. Overall cleanliness was awful

Daughter found someone’s used needle on the floor plugging her phone in, thank god it did not stick her. Was very disappointed at the cleanliness.

Well, overall ok tv in room only had one working channel, toliet seat was broken, and many light bulbs were out. The air conditioner said 66 degrees but was more like 75. Hallway was hot and had a pet smell. Didn't stay in main hotel but the building next door.

Old, dirty, room smells like cigarettes, mold in the bathroom, no hot water, the parking lot looks and feels unsafe, I can go on! $159 a night when I should have stayed at a holiday inn for a little more. Never again.

The room was fine, but the air conditioner was not functioning properly. The temperature in the room was higher than the hallway. Our TV also had something going on as only two channels would show a picture. The rest showed "audio only"

Small tv mounted on wall - hard to see from the beds. Room smelled badly of marijuana every time we entered. Outside pool closed and covered. At breakfast all juice was out....only waffle machine and bagels when we went. Laundry room not in service. Staff was friendly. Bathroom fan so loud we couldn't hear the television when it was on. Things were surface cleaned but needee deep cleaned. Ice machine did not work. We were in a different building than the rest of our team.

This place is terrible. I’ll sleep in the car before I stay there again. Curtains fell off the wall. The shower control wouldn’t work, finally got some water out. There were holes in the walls patched with putty and not painted. The putty was quite old. The refrigerator was dripping water in and outside of the refrigerator. The ice maker didn’t work and obviously hadn’t for a long time. The place is an embarrassment. The woman at check in and checkout was very nice.

Everything was ok. The room was clean. The bed was very uncomfortable it had a dip in the mattress. The indoor pool felt like Alaska! The spa was Luke warm. The only one good thing it was away from all the noise!

Air conditioning didn’t keep room cool. No hot water for shower. When I let the front desk know they said let the tap run 10 minutes. It was more like an hour. I left the hotel early. Absolutely miserable experience. I’ll would not recommen! I wil never go back. One of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever experienced

Too noisy

Manuvering, parking, entering and exiting with a boat is difficult. The waffles for breakfast were good but the scrambled eggs and sausage patty (at least that what it appeared to be) were tasteless. The water in the sink in room barley comes out. Other than that, I had a good night rest -- would have been better but the damn "sleep" function on the remote didn't work (like most of them wherever I stay) so the TV stayed on all night -- very annoying.............

Terrible lighting, old fashioned dim lights. The bathtub was all chipped off, the security rail in the tub was gone and plugged up with caulking. The handle to to turn water on in the shower came off. The stopper in the sink was broken off. The freezer in the refrigerator was frozen solid. Wyndham should be ashamed to call this one of their properties!

The 1st room I was put in smelled of urine and the A/C was not functioning properly, but the staff was quick to put me in another room and my 4 yr old grandson said "mmm this room smells so good" lol. Other than that, it was a nice stay. The breakfast actually had some protein options and the coffee was actually good.

I thought the stay was very comfortable. Sheets and towels nice and soft. The Desk manager (Cory) was dealing with an unruly guest but treated us with respect. On the downside, the TV wasn't connected to the Internet. And the door latch didn't latch smoothly. I had to lift up on the door to get it to engage. Needs to be addressed.

Reserved a king bed. Upon arrival the lady at the front desk told us they didn’t have one available after we had already paid for our room. Offered 2 queen beds instead. Under New management and seemed very rude.

Our first room was already occupied, so we had to go back to the front desk to get another one. Front desk staff wasn't available the two times I had questions and the phone number didn't work the first day I was there. The indoor pool is good, and the new room was adequate. Could be worse, could be better.

The bed had a wire on side that was sticking up and made it hard to set on side of bed, not enough TP in bathrooms and when I ask for more it was like it was a problem to get it, breakfast was rubbery tasting and just couldn't eat it and just not friendly at check-in or check-out. Room smelled like weed was smoked in it.

Went to check in at 4PM, The computer was being rebooted. there were 3 people in line and none could check in. I had a reservation so I left to go to dinner. I returned at 6 PM to find another line. It was painfully slow. Don't know if it was due to a slow computer, the clerk or both. Finally completed the check in. Room was a handicapped room which was not as requested. There were NO wash cloths. Desk clerk found me one which she said was the only clean one available. The TV had approximately10-15 analog channels most of which were devoted to sports. Next my wife wanted to shower a fix her hair which she did only to find that the hair dryer did not work. The desk clerk fortunately found another which worked. The ice machine in our building did not work. Had to go to the building next door for ice. Place was extremely noisy. Sounded like a track meet above us. People in the hallway intermittently up till about ten sounded like they were in our room. At about 2:30 AM a party came down the hallway talking a at the top of their voices as if they were the only people in the Motel. Breakfast was supposed to be 6-9 AM.At 7:30 we went for breakfast. Available for breakfast was Coffee, 1 yogurt, cream cheese, Waffles and syrup, cereal and milk and bagels and raisin bread. Eggs and sausage appeared about 8AM brought by two young men. No serving utensils. At a total cost of $229.00, this qualifies as one of the biggest rip offs I have experienced.

The perfect hotel for what was needed. We were there to see the Ozark Mountain daredevils at the Ozark amphitheater and the hotel was within an excellent distance from the venue. It also had great restaurants nearby. The room was clean and perfect. Great stay would recommend.

I liked the fact that it was close to the hospital.

We found everything clean. Great breakfast. Eggs,sausage, biscuits& gravy, bread, bagels cream cheese , jelly. Make your own waffle, fresh fruit, juice, coffee. Internet fine. Not more than 2 miles for several restraunts. Closer by was culvers and Arbys. Bed A little soft but slept fine.

The hotel was in a very convenient location for Osage Beach activities. The beds were get comfortable. The front desk was polite and bring extra towels when requested. We were sad that the outside pool wasn't usable but enjoyed the inside pool.

I was easy to get too and quiet

It seems like they need to invest in some new bedding. Also parking was awful with all of the trucks with boat trailers in for the tournament. They should have to park their trailer’s somewhere else and not take up 4 spots each. They also all leave at 5:30 am and make ALOT of noise. Otherwise, the place was clean and the bed was comfortable.

Took advantage of it being bike fest and double the price

It’s an ok stay, but for as much as it was I expected everything about it to be nicer. It’s a tourist spot so everything is pricey.

It was very dirty, ran out of the limited breakfast food. Staff did not know how to get water dispenser to work , cereal was water and stale. It was gross. The outside pool was stained and yuk. Very unhappy for a Baymont.

The property was overpriced, hotel and rooms extremely outdated for 230 dollar's a night. Have stayed in way better places for that amount or less. There was dead bugs in the room, not many wall outlets for charging your electronics. Breakfast was terrible and not a big selection of items. This choice of hotel was a last minute selection to attend an Ice Cube concert at the Amphitheater at the Ozarks. Another 100 dollars i would have went back to Margaritaville Resort for just a night. I wil never return to this property or any other ones along this area.

It was fine. We had to ask desk for clean towels, the dirty ones were not picked up. The indoor pool was a nice thing to have. Breakfast was definitely sufficient for price range of hotel. Facilities were clean. Overall our experience was fine, no major complaints.

Bed was ok. Breakfast was ok at best. Food was out, went to front desk to advise, 15 minutes later finally had eggs!
