The room was filthy there was Doritos chips and a French fry on the floor as well as a dirty napkin there was hairs on the toilet . Very gross. . The swimming pool was closed which I did not see listed on the web site I specifically rented from this motel to be able to swim

It’s a Super 8. The good: Clean. Staff courteous. The hotel Quiet. The bad: The pool was closed. The parking lot wasn’t that big and only had 1 way in and out. Hotel is pretty beat up. The under bed protector was noisy and was too close to the edge of the bed.

The bathroom floor was not clean when we arrived which made me question the overall cleanliness of the room and building. We had a large room with a lot of empty space. They could have put in additional furniture to make the space functional; instead it was wasted. The indoor pool was filthy and the property was run-down and needs updating.

No elevator option m. It’s hard to drag suitcases up 2 flights of stairs. Small rooms and bathroom sink was in bathroom, but in entrance of room. Ac smelt back. I checked in and got into room and immediately checked out. Waisted $96.

I'm not a room snob but this place was terrible. My room smelled and the tub and toilet weren't very clean. The old carpet needs replacing, bathroom updating to match the updated sink, and remove the dirty chair with the mix match cushion.

Very first thing is the smell of my room, I did need a dog friendly hotel so maybe that is why the room stunk very very bad. Next thing was I found a black sock from the previous person, so I wasn't sure if the sheets have even been cleaned and replaced. The bathroom shower head, don't touch it, it may fall right out the wall. The bathroom floor still had previous persons body hair also in the tub. I will never stay here again. The floor you can tell was not vacuumed, if it had been they would have found the black sock on the floor. Definitely not worth almost $100.00 if I could have a refund I would definitely take it, but I know that would never happen. So I'll just but this hotel in the catalog of never stay again.

The room was filthy! Our relatives stayed next door and theirs was worse. No other rooms nearby so we had to stay. The ceiling fan was ready to fall in and it flickered and went out. The neighbors sink was clogged, filthy floors and room had a stink!!! I will never stay there again and will be happy to tell everyone to steer clear

Front desk people were very friendly. But the room was dusty and in need of a deep clean. Dirt on light switches. Bed mattress springs broken on left side. Like sleeping in a sinkhole. Towels very rough like sandpaper. Stains on carpet, couch, and chair. Coffee awful. Very weak. Waffle was delicious. I hope our next Super 8 by Wyndham is much better.

Stayed after a late flight before driving home. Room heater was extremely noisy. Have to leave it turned off in order to sleep. Fridge had loud hum to where it had to be unplugged. Wouldn’t stay there again.

This place is fairly decent but needs better maintenance. My particular issue was with the air conditioning. It had been a very hot day and no one turned on the a/c in the room before my arrival, which is not that big of a deal but it's what usually happens with a room in this price range. The a/c in this particular room had obviously not been maintained for quite a while since it never got the room cooled down sufficiently. In fact, the only area that was air-conditioned on the entire property was the lobby and that was questionable. The breakfast offering was sugary cereals - no fruit or anything healthy. My entire experience was very below average

Don’t stay here. Shower didn’t work and tub stopper wouldn’t close to keep water in tub. When I ask them about it the next morning, the lady at the front deck said I should have said something before check out. But I was exhausted the night before. Regardless, never got a sorry or anything. I did ask for some sort of refund and same answer “should have said something before check out”. Now I know why nobody stayed there and stayed at the Ramada across the street. Never again will I stay in a Super 8!!!

The Super 8 in Platte City is an excellent place to stay for a night or two. The employee at the front desk was friendly and the property is clean, easy to reach and just a stone's throw from the brand, new Kansas City International Airport (MCI). I would stay there again in a heartbeat if I return to the area.

The guy who checked us in was very kind and did his job well. He was very helpful with picking a room for myself and my 3 young kids that would make it easy to bring our things in from the car and so that kiddos wouldn’t disturb the other guests. Seriously so helpful. It made my stay a lot less stressful than usual. The AC in the room was good and the fridge worked well. The beds are on the firmer side if you like that as i do. But otherwise the facility and rooms were run down and dirty. There were cockroaches in my room and some trash on the floor when we came in. The shower had grime and dirt all over it. The door didn't latch all the way, the drain plug was broken: There were crumbs in the sheets…etc. Breakfast was just waffles, 2 cereals, and two bread options (mini muffins and bread) then juice and milk tea and coffee. No fresh items like fruit. It wasnt bad, just kinda disappointing. Honestly, i would stay again. Just because I like to save money. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone i know. .

The worst shower ever. It wasn’t very clean, it was difficult to get it to stay on, and it screeched loudly the whole time. HOWEVER, the service was good, the room was clean, and the homemade waffles and coffee were absolutely delicious.

Almost no water pressure in the shower. Only a trickle of water coming out of the shower head. Fixtures in the bathroom were falling off the door and wall. Free continental breakfast was waffles and small muffins, no protein options of any kind. Will not stay here again
