Overall just okay experience. We often had a long wait for the elevators. As we were on the third floor, we opted to take the stairs one morning instead of wait only to realize that all of the stairways lead outside! None led to the lobby. And there were multiple mice traps lining the stairwells. There was also a limited area for cars to pull over for valet, and you had to juggle luggage while crossing the street to the hotel. The hallways were messy and had no air conditioning. The rooms at least were clean and quiet. Nothing special about this hotel.

We were greeted and welcomed so warmly ! We were quickly assisted and given an early check in for our room. The gym was spotless and had a great variety of equipment. Breakfast was delicious. Check out was quick and easy. Great location!

Staff very friendly,helpful including valet service. Within walking distance of places to eat. Only issue was parking, for valet just park in front there is a valet sign. I missed first time had to go around it’s a one way street . The fee was 57 not 47 as posted they add 10 valet fee. There are several parking lots within short distance if you prefer

The location was perfect. So close to Reading Terminal. Parking was plentiful (although not free) in a lot a block or two away. You do t need to use the valet. Breakfast was popular and the bar was a nice amenity.

The valet parking is hard to use and terrible. It took us 30 minutes to go around the block and wait until there was parking when there was a whole lane that could be used for valet if they moved the cone. They had a lot of people in line and only 1 person at the front and 1 person doing valet which called the phone call hold to be at least 20 minutes if we didn’t hang up because of waiting. The room was comfortable and the bed was nice but we felt stuck at the hotel since we did not want to deal with the valet situation again. In the morning though when we left at 7:40 am, it was fast and easy.

I have stayed at a lot of Hampton Inns and this location is old and out dated. The carpet is dirty, the walls are dirty, the bathtub is old. The front of the building, including the windows, are dirty. The bed was hard and not comfortable. Our floor was supposed to be smoke-free and it was not. The only thing I liked was location. We were able to walk to several destinations.

Didn’t give it 1 star, but feel like that I could have. I expect more out of a Hampton and this did not meet the mark. The furniture was dirty and stained. Didn’t feel safe to sit on the couch so didn’t. Stains in walls. The refrigerator ran super loud and stop making the noise. Carpet had stains, elevators stunk, even the chairs in the lobby were stained. The bathroom seemed clean enough and I felt safe in that. The common spaces by elevator had dirty towles laying around for the better part of a day and I wasn’t there much. Vacuums left out in hallways, empty hotel lotion bottles. Overall, it felt like Motel 6 quality. I no longer trust the Hampton Inn brand.

Almost everything we needed for our stay there. However, spending quite a bit of time in the lounge/lobby area outside of busy hours we witnessed mice scurrying several times. And we only needed housekeeping once during our stay but toilet was not scrubbed. However staff at this location were immensely helpful and attentive to needs and requests and should be commended for going above and beyond.

Staff was really great— all of them. The lobby amenities were well-maintained (coffee, breakfast) and my room was good enough for just me for 2 nights. I knocked off a star because the bathroom could have been cleaner, and the heater was full of dust which I’m sure was blowing into the room all night.

I love Hampton Inn hotels!!! The only reason I did not give this property top scores in every category was the internet / WiFi was out the first night I was there and I got there early to facilitate a virtual meeting. There were NO options! There was NO ETA for when the WiFi would be working. I had to call around to find places that would allow me to use theirs. It was not easy on a Friday Evening.

We were greeted by a lovely man on reception who took time to give us a little Philly history and recommendations. Our room was massive and the beds were super comfy. Great location within walking distance to Philly attractions. Breakfast was nothing special but done as it says on the tin.

The bar was cool, but the bartender was non verbal, didn’t even say a word until the second round of drinks I ordered. I even tipped him after each round. Room was cool, the TV in room 503 was dim and kind of hard to see clearly. Pillows weren’t firm, you needed like 2 or 3 under your head for any kind of support. The heating/ac unit took hours to turn on no matter what buttons I pressed.

This was a convenient stay for us being able to walk to great restaurants, the metro, and some tourist areas. It could use an update on the entrance and lobby. The room was nice and quiet as we had 10th floor room with a view. Beds were comfy too. Room as was great!

The rooms looked nice and were clean but the beds were hard as rocks. None of us got good sleep and we had back pains the next day. The continental breakfast was a good variety of food but total chaos. There were way too many guests to fit in the area where the breakfast was set up. The location was nice with access to lots of tourist sites nearby. There is no adjacent parking lot or garage so $40/day valet parking is the only option unless you want to find a garage in the area and walk back to the hotel which would probably cost close to the same amount. The front desk clerks and other staff were very friendly and helpful.

Receptionists were not friendly, doing the bare minimum, housekeeping was quite bad, I’ve never stayed in a hotel that doesn’t clean the bathroom as part of housekeeping. I’ve just stopped approaching the reception seeing how unwilling they are in helping. Pretty sure I’m not the only one who feels this way

Great hotel with amazing staff. The front desk clerks were top tier! They were kind, friendly, warm and helpful. No question went unanswered. They went above and beyond to make sure everyone felt welcome and happy. Best staff I’ve had among all my stays in hotels across the country.

We weren’t given the room that we booked. The room we were given was clean. The highlight of this trip was the bartender at the lobby. His name was Michael and he not only was a wealth of local information he was an awesome bartender as well. We used to book at another hotel in the city but we will definitely book here again for our next stay in Philly just for Michael as a bartender.

The facility was what would be expected of a hotel. The desk personnel were very friendly and approachable. I would stay there again. The area around the hotel is threatening with characters roaming the streets, soliciting money, sleeping on the sidewalk, smoking pot, and the odor of pee prevails. But that is not the fault of the hotel. I stayed four nights and the cleaning people never serviced my room. I thought that was strange but not critical.

The hotel is outdated but clean for the most part. We had some experience with someone banging on our door at 1 AM then running but i believe these were kids playing in the hallways. Parking was sketchy and available at a lot block or two over ( for a fee of course) so didn't seem safe if staying out late and have to park your vehicle. Finally, courtesy breakfast is ok but extremely crowded, if you want to get breakfast head down early to avoid the chaos. Staff was always friend, Queen is extremely helpful and courteous.

Great hotel and location. Clean and comfortable room, lots of space. Friendly service - and has valet available which is really helpful for a downtown hotel. The only issue I had was hotels.com indicated a restaurant - which there really is not. There is a free breakfast - which was great, but there is not an actual restaurant in the property. (This is likely a hotels.com issue vs. the hotel itself!). Will likely stay again my next trip.

We booked a room for four people, but they only provided two towels. The breakfast service was also terrible. Although it's supposed to be available until 10 a.m., by 8 a.m. there was barely any food left. We had to wait nearly an hour for a small amount of food to be brought out. It was very disappointing.
