Located in the center of the fashion district with Jewlers row and Chinatown a block in either direction, it is perfect to explore shop and even quickly visit other cities with the Amtrack station outside the door. The staff is amazing and veterans of the hotel so they care for the property. The hotel is not great for amenities and very dated w/o a pool, but if your coming to explore the city, it is a perfect home base.

The property is located very close to the Pennsylvania Convention Center. This made everything needed in walking distance. The fitness center is in need of improvements (a bit warm, no fans, ominous ambiance) also no dumbbells which is not common. The customer service varied but overall was fine. I would still recommend this hotel, but not my normal experience from the Hilton brand.

Told they had a policy that if we arrived early and the room was ready we could get in. When we arrived they said that the room was ready but we didn’t have the type of room for early entry??? Okay so we stored our bags and went to the market for lunch The other problem was that they said that they had parking. I was also told that the hotel doesn’t own or reserve any parking spots which is exactly how we had to park down the street and around the corner from the hotel because they didn’t have any parking in the hotel lot at all !! Overall it was pleasant but certainly not as comfortable as it would have been having our car with us rather than 2 blocks away in Philly

Property is in a good location in center city. Pricing was very reasonable and parking nearby was easy. Reading Market and the convention center are right next door. We went to an event at city winery and it is conveniently just around the corner. Overall, my party felt like the property could have been cleaner. The staff were okay, but nobody was exceptional. They have a little market area that is difficult to use and, ridiculously, some items are not in the database so you have to scan a different, similarly priced item. There is a small gym - I was hoping for some dumbbells, but had to modify using a universal and their Peloton didn't have a subscription so was like a paper weight.

Over all, the hotel was very convenient & comparatively comfortable. Our room had nearly no natural light, and the bedroom did not have a wall switch to control the lights. On our 1st night We tried to eat at the hotel restaurant but were informed that because we did not have a dinner reservation, we would not be allowed. We were not even offered the option to order food at the bar until we saw that it was empty and expressly asked.

Staff were not receptive to inquiries for additional pillows and towels for our sofa bed and family. When a room is booked for a certain number of people, at least that number of pillows and towels should be available without asking the front desk. "The hotel was too full to have any more pillows or towels for us" - seriously? The pillows were a sorry excuse for pillows anyway - very soft, similar to folding a t-shirt and putting it behind your head. Parking is NOT onsite and NOT in conjunction with the hotel, as the website says it is. Parking is in the convention center parking lot - you must exit the parking garage and walk a couple doors or around the corner, and then enter the hotel. Not helpful for a large traveling group - and false advertising.

The shower had a lot of hair in it. We were there for 3 nights and never had our room cleaned or more towels brought. In the shower, the soap and conditioner were empty. Also cost $42 per night for parking.

The room was spotless, and they had my name as a welcome on the TV screen - a sweet touch! The beds were fine. I will say that the bedding could have been a bit nicer quality, but it was fine. The only thing that kept 5 stars from me, is that I made sure to not put the do not disturb sign on my door when we left at 6 am for the big race we came for this trip, and when we returned, the room had not been cleaned at all. We were bummed, because it is always so nice to return to vacuumed room, freshly made beds, emptied trashcans, a clean bathroom, replenished towels - part of the fun of staying in a hotel vs an airbnb.. but absolutely nothing had been done, which was really frustrating, especially as we had left so early, there was no way we were there when they needed us out to clean. Otherwise, it was great. The location was absolutely fabulous: right outside Reading Terminal Market! Right by Chinatown! Everything! We would definitely stay here again, maybe I would just call and ask if they could clean the room while I was out.

Room was VERY clean, spacious, comfortable. My only negative comment would be the lack of water coming out of bathroom sink faucet. Hard to rinse soap off of hands with so little water. Otherwise, it was a GREAT stay...must make allowances for city noises, sirens, etc.

I had high expectations given that this is part of the Hilton chain, but unfortunately they weren’t met. I’m not sure if it’s a cultural difference, but the front desk staff were consistently unfriendly, rarely smiled, and often came across as quite rude and overly direct. I always had the feeling that any request I made was seen as an inconvenience. The room itself didn’t feel particularly clean — there was visible dust, and one of the beds wasn’t properly made. Overall, it wasn’t the best experience, to be honest, and it fell short of what I would expect from a Hilton property.

We had 3 rooms with our family. 1 room’s interactions and experience went fine. 2nd room - dried Vomit (I think) on comforter, hidden by top sheet. Didn’t realize it until after having slept in the bed, so that’s fun…. Brought it to attention of staff, they said they have a policy not to replace bedding until 2nd night of stay but reluctantly said they would fix it since it was soiled. We left for the day and came back to the soiled blanket remaining on the floor where we left it. they didn’t fix it. Came back to room and asked for it to be fixed, they sent someone. I opened the door to let him in, he said “oh, that’s not my job. I don’t do that” …….didnt provide the proper replacement bedding but said, “I’m sure you can figure it out”. ….Sure, of course I can figure it out!! Probably wouldn’t have thought to write this out if it was fixed the first time. Things happen. Even though I was grossed out, I can understand that. 3rd room - Asked to have the other room made up, but they wouldn’t because of policy of every other day. Asked as a courtesy since the second room experience wasn’t going well. They said No. Said I was happy to pay extra - since it was my parents room and they just wanted fresh sheets, I asked if they could possibly make the exception and charge me. Negative. Wouldn’t hear of it!

The staff was amazing! Very friendly and helpful. The room not as great, shower curtain had a huge hole in it. There was some white substance all over the bathroom. Looks like it wasn't even wiped down. The blankets for the bed were terrible. The sheet didn't fit at all, looked like the wrong size. The comforter had a cover and that never stayed on. The comforter wasn't big enough for the bed so we had to ask for another one. Half the lights didn't work in the room like the reading lights. And I specifically paid to get a room with a sitting area that had a additional TV as we were traveling with kids and we couldn't find the remote to the tv anywhere. I called the front desk and they said they didn't know where it was either. Hotel is in a great location I just wish the hotel cared more about the standards for the rooms. It definitely didn't feel like I was staying at a Hilton Hotel.

We were here for my birthday weekend and this was our second time staying here (first time was about 12 years ago but we bounce around staying at different hotels in Center City once every few years). The location is fantastic… the hotel is sandwiched between Reading Terminal Market and a parking lot ($40/night with NO in/out privileges). There were a lot of places to go to within walking distance. Yes, comfortable shoes and uber were vital to our trip. Our room was immaculately clean, spacious and comfortable. Also loved having a kitchenette. However, we were able to hear a lot of the outside noise throughout the day and night (our room was on the 7th floor facing Arch Street). No sound proof windows sucks. No one was mean but the employees weren’t very welcoming. I had to wait for the two people at the front desk to finish their personal conversation before acknowledging us at check in. Every time we went in and out of the hotel, we never saw any of the staff members smile or even say good morning, nothing… Also… many of the guests didn’t understand how to use the elevator. Way too many times we were about to enter the lobby elevator and there would be confused guests just standing there going up and back down, not knowing to swipe their room key to get the elevator door to open on their floor.

Nothing to complain about the hotel. Super clean, literally right next to Reading Market and Chinatown. However, it’s also very close to the Thomas Jefferson Emergency Department. If you plan on being in your hotel room during the daytime, get used to constant sirens. At night, it wasn’t too bad fortunately, but during the daytime, it was non-stop!

The room was pretty comfortable but the fitted sheets kept coming off the beds - they are stretched out and shrunken. They don't quite fit all the way down the mattress, so they come off very easily. Also, the comforters are quite worn. The lighting in the bathroom is very poor. I did appreciate the nightlight in the bathroom, your friendly staff at all levels, and the quality of your mattresses. Soundproofing of the rooms could be improved.

The front desk staff was very kind and helpful. But we stayed for 5 days and never received room service. When i asked that someone at least empties trash cans after the third day, i was asked to put the trash outside the door. I saw neighboring rooms put piles of towels outside the door. They are terribly understaffed seems like. Oh, i had to take a shipped bike in a box to my room. The front desk couldn’t even give me a cart, let alone have someone help me. They had one cart available and if someone was using it or not returning it, you had to carry things on your own without a cart. Im giving two start because it’s in the city center of amazing Philadelphia, and that deserves recognition.

Check in and check out was quick and easy. The staff was pleasant at the desk. The rooms were cleaned and refreshed daily. Even though I noticed people with pets (dogs) --- I never heard them. Our room entire stay was quiet --- to the point where I felt like we were the only ones there. During our stay we needed batteries for our remote and our toilet unclogged; both were addressed immediately with just a quick call to the desk. The evening security guard was pleasant and remembered us as we left and entered the building. The male guests get an extra shout out too. It was just my daughter and I on the trip and they made a point to let us on and off the elevator each time we went on; even my 12 year old daughter noticed it.

The worst Hilton I have ever stayed. Bathroom was so dirty I had to wear my sandals to get into the nasty tub. House keeping never was able to be found so we never had a room cleaning nor towels replaced. Front desk personnel acts like they hate their jobs and the hotel guests with a passion. I will never stay in this miserable place ever.

It was wonderful to arrive in Philly and be able to check in early. The staff checked in via text and everything was smooth and pleasant. And when my friend needed coffee after the food service was closed, they even accommodated that. In addition, it's in a super central location.

Amazing staff. My room phone was broken, tiniest gym ever and the begging outside of the hotel was kind of insane. Overall great stay and perfect location for the train and food. Staff was AMAZING cant say that enough!!

The hotel as advertised makes it look like it’s in a nice part of the city. But to get there you have to walk under a dodgy dark tunnel and past druggies. Not great. My kids were so scared they refused to go out after dark. The room was ok. The doorman was lovely the reception not so helpful.

Fantastic experience for our family vacation! We were originally going to stay near the airport but at the last minute changed to this hotel. So glad we did! What a perfect location. It’s right next to the Reading Terminal Market. Such a fun place to get breakfast (or lunch or dinner)! The beds were comfortable, even the pull-out sofa (according to my teenage daughter). The staff made sure everything was great for us. If we get to go back to Philly, I definitely want to stay here again.

The property itself is extremely convenient. The area right around the property doesn’t feel very safe at times but isn’t unsafe per se. It’s just a lot of homeless people and druggies on the streets around the hotel, maybe the hotel can do more to proactively eliminate it in the immediate vicinity. We were exhibiting at the Philadelphia Convention Center, so the location was fantastic (across the street) but that's not all. Right next door to the Reading Market Terminal (Yum) and walking distance to good restaurants, short cab rides to Rittenhouse Square or Independence Hall. The hotel was clean, staff was helpful, and the parking worked perfectly (some apprehension about being charged by a phone app!).

The hotel room was clean, the location was great! Downside…there are no areas on or near the hotel property for your pet to relieve itself. No grassy areas, just concrete everywhere. Also, for $20 pp, for a breakfast buffet, there isn’t much variety and you have to wait for someone to bring you a single beverage. Other than that, the service was good and we were within walking distance to restaurants, shops, and some tourist attractions.
