I’ve stayed in Holiday Inn Express before so when I booked this location, I expected the same service. Unfortunately, this location failed to live up to those prior expectations. The good: The lady at front desk who greeted me was initially pleasant and even got me a room earlier than my scheduled check in. For this I was most grateful. The bad: Shortly after getting to my room, I started hearing loud noises of other guests using the ice machine which was across the hall. When I returned to front desk, the same woman who just checked me in was still there so I brought this to her attention. Yet, no sooner did I do so, her entire demeanor changed. Her attitude was no longer pleasant and instead gave me the impression I was just annoying her. It is important to note that at no time during this conversation was I ever rude or angry. In fact, I reiterated my gratitude for allowing me to check in early. I simply didn’t like the proximity of my room to the ice machine. I had even thought of asking her if I might change rooms but quickly decided against it giver her change in attitude. Not long after, though, I started hearing banging noises. It was guests across the hall slamming their doors. Not sure why, but it went on for an hour. I called front desk and begged the gentleman (Ari) to let me change rooms and floors. He did. Thank you, Ari!!! Overall: Room nice but didn’t have updated charging stations. Breakfast was fair but dining area dirty.
