Courtyard by Marriott Philadelphia City Avenue

I have stayed at this property numerous time in the past. This current was very unpleasant. The room was on the 2nd floor. The bed linens and towels had a terrible smell to them as if they were washed without any detergent. The smell was of dirty laundry/body odor/feet. In addition, the room remained at 75 degrees despite my trying to set the temperature cooler. It was hot an unpleasant. I was not able to sleep. Very disappointed in this most recent stay and deter me from staying again. We travel frequently.

My room was clean and comfortable, staff was friendly, and self parking was easy.

Needs some cleaning in the entrance

Hotel was clean and in a good location in West Philly, Ubers/Lyfts/Shuttle was about 15 minutes from Center City. Shuttle was convenient for travel, when available. Indoor pool was nice but cold. Pool towels were half the size of a bath towel. Elevators were hit and miss majority of our stay. Several restaurants and a Target within walking distance and view of hotel. Overall it was a great hotel and I'd stay again!!

I enjOyed my stay...Wouldnt mind coming bacK.
