Really cool hotel in Old City Philadelphia. Nice rooms. The rooms are small, but they've got what you need to be comfortable. The AC unit struggled to keep the room as cold as the thermostat was set, but it wasn't hot either. The heated bathroom floor was a nice touch and the toilet was awesome! Was pleasantly surprised to find a mini fridge in the room, as that was not noted in the list of amenities. Let me be clear, there is no elevator or on-site staff. I knew that going in to the stay. It wasn't a problem for me. The hotel staff communicates via text message and was responsive to any questions I had. I will say Chestnut Street is busy. It's loud. You're in Philadelphia. Expect a city vibe and noise level. If you are a little self reliant and able to operate a couple of key pads and walk up a few flights of steps this is a wonderful hotel in the heart of Old City. My wife and I will absolutely stay here again. We loved it.

For most of my stay there wasn’t hot water in the shower and the bathroom floor clearly hadn’t been cleaned. The staff sent me a text at 11pm asking me to check if the water had been fixed? The location is great though so that’s a plus and it’s affordable-ish. Could have done without the housekeeping staff knocking loudly on the door this morning around 9:00 (check out is 11:00 and the do not disturb hang tag was up). I’d say pay more money to ensure hot water and a stay where you have more privacy.

Stayed there, Loved It! I had a quick stay at Society Hill Hotel back in May. Everything was great including staff communication, hotel location, and the room! They offer keyless check in and send the credentials via text which beats waiting in a line in a lobby. All the info was sent prior to my arrival. The location was near lots of attractions, restaurants, and points of interest around town and its very walkable. The room was clean, and spacious. I loved the décor and you can tell real thought was put into the design. I loved the records and record player provided in the room. My favorite part was the heated floor in the bathroom which was a cool surprise! The water pressure was great also! There’s a restaurant right down stairs also but I didn’t get to check it out. I will definitely book again the next time I’m in town!

Gorgeous hotel, the staff was extremely helpful, we accidentally left something in the room and they went above and beyond to help. Perfect location and the bathrooms are stunning, definitely will be going back
