This is my favorite hotel anytime I come to Shelby! The place is clean, staff is really nice, and the prices are always good! And free biscuits and gravy for breakfast or making your own waffles is a really nice bonus!

Everything was great! Pool was definitely a plus. Our new stop when we pass thru to see our family in Shelby. Great staff morning noon and night.

The front staff was as nice as they could be during check-in, considering the guy in front of us was being pretty difficult. I did feel a little blindsided by the $20 fee I had to pay at check in, even though I paid in full for the room a week in advance. The room itself was very clean and cozy. The air conditioning wasn't the best. I stay pretty hot when I sleep, and had a difficult time getting comfortable. The bathroom was also very tight. You kinda had to straddle the toilet to close the door if you wanted privacy. The breakfast wasn't very good, especially considering the price of the room. There was no meat option. Just eggs, gravy, and dry biscuits. Everything in the hot box tasted unusually salty, and the gravy was slimy. The juice options were fine. Waffles looked ok, but I didn't have one. There seemed to be a good selection of tea and coffee. Parking was easy to find and check-out was simple.I haven't seen any more surprises on my bank statement. 3/5 Stars, probably won't choose this name to stay at again, but I've been in much worse rooms.

Very clean room, well maintained. Had two different breakfasts there on two different days. The biscuits and sausage gravy was great. The scrambled eggs and sausage was not as good. The sausages were a little on the salty side, and the scrambled eggs tasted like they were premade and warmed up in the microwave. Would stay the again.
