This hotel is clean quite place to stay... My only complaint is that my husband and I are traveling electrician's and the property doesn't allow microwave's in the room .... So that was inconvenient to have to keep eating out, which is expensive, or use the only allowed microwave which is in the office.... Other then that great place to stay

Very good handicap accessible room. Parking in front of the door and wide ramps to the sidewalk were sloped well for a walker or wheelchair. From the room to the office for the breakfast was handicap accessible. The shower and bathroom was very large. Two double beds rather than a king would be nice, so the caretaker has their own bed.

No welcome greeting, or thank you when we left, very weak on hospitality! Pitiful food & beverage area, our room carpet was terribly stained and in poor condition. We will not stay there again and would not recommend it to anyone else!

The room was absolutely disgusting. As soon as we walked inside it smelled of mold, must, and vomit. After being told it was the last room available, we asked to cancel the reservation and be refunded. The hotel refused to offer any sort of refund or solution (and to be frank, was rude and not kind or understanding about this issue whatsoever). We couldn’t stomach the horrible smell of the room and ended up having to leave to find a new hotel and pay for that on top of this room we paid for and couldn’t use. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone. It literally stunk.

Arrived to find dirty soaks in dresser that made the room smell. Found bottles tops under the desk. Breakfast the waffles were partially cooked no milk for coffee. Went elsewhere for breakfast for the rest of my stay. Had to kill bugs every night in bathroom. Will not return to this place again.

Other than the lovely check-in and check out staff this hotel room was dirty, smelled of smoke and mold. Wouldn't even walk on the carpet without shoes. Couldn't even turn on the sink lighting because the light was flickering so bad.

It was only. The bed was comfortable but it all felt dirty. Carpet had a lot of stains. The room was had a strong smell of smoke. It was a nonsmoking room so this was a not okay. When we were checking out the room - housekeeping was smoking as she went in and out of rooms to clean. For the price I was very disappointed.

Nicely remodeled and updated for the most part. Being a motel, there can be potential outside noise issues, but nothing major during my stay. No seal at bottom of door so outside light peaks through. Staff was friendly and attentive, the hair dryer was broke and the front desk associate brought a new one within minutes. Clean room, fridge worked, bed was comfortable, lots of pillows. Ice machine was on opposite side of motel where I was. Location north of town means lower prices, only a 10-minute car or Uber ride to downtown, but not much around the motel, although the Italian restaurant next door was excellent. Overall a good experience for a more budget-priced motel.

For the price , I was very pleased , very clean , bed was comfortable. Only complaint is the tv , was super small and had lines in the screen, with very few channels, but wasn’t here to stay in the room to watch tv. For 90$ was pleased with our room.

The staff is unfriendly and the place is kind of run down. I was sent by text an option for late check out for an additional charge, which I selected, but we were rudely disturbed and run off at the usual check out time. We were told they were sold out, on a Sunday (believe me, they were not). Also one of our key cards didn’t work.

Upon arrival there were two young ladies who were very friendly checked us in and I asked about how to get to Hot Springs and they gave us percise directions and told us there were like 2 restaurants out there we tried the Iron Horse Station food was great very very busy place. Would come back again beds were comfortable

Prepare to drive A LOT to and from the main Asheville attractions. The heat/air unit is old. We were unable to use the AC during an unseasonably warm spell. The carpeting is very stained and should be replaced. I like the trend of laminate flooring in hotels because it cleans up and endures a lot of wear and tear. The room was clean but smelled like wet towels. The free breakfast lacks protein. Please at least add yogurt.
